Just returned from another fabulous stay in Apartment Filin 14, Puerto de Mogan.
From start to finish the communication, standards and facilities offered at this apartment were all fantastic. The host Richard, is always contactable, a great reassurance if you have any questions whilst you’re here. A spacious well appointed apartment fully equipped for your every need, and I mean every need! Richard has ensured you’ll never want for anything here..the apartment has great security, air con, smart tv with many UK channels, appliances galore and even filtered drinking water on tap. A huge private balcony which attracts the sun all day (the electric sunshades were a welcome addition) and a heated swimming pool,with loungers, which we had all to ourselves during our stay. Such a comfortable apartment to stay in making you feel relaxed from the off go.
Handy for the supermarkets, bus station (for trips around the island inc the airport) and the Friday Market, all just across the road. Less than a 5 min walk from the centre of Mogan with the many shops, bars, restaurants, beach and the harbour, which is a beautiful setting with great views to sit and enjoy a meal or a cocktail at sunset.
Would I return to Filin 14 ? Yes! Absolutely! it’s a little gem of a place and I hope, selfishly, there’s availability when I look to book again.

This was our first time renting from Richard and what a pleasure it was. Richard was clear in his communication with us and prompt in his replies. The apartment was very homely, comfortable and in an excellent position with a shopping centre and supermarket just a 10/15 minute walk in one direction and another supermarket and the main town, restaurants, beach and marina a short walk away in the other direction. The apartment was very well equipped. The bedrooms (3 : 2 doubles and a single) had comfortable beds plenty of hangers, shelves and drawers. Hairdryers were provided in every bedroom. It had a water filter so no long trecks for large water bottles. The kitchen was small but had everything you would need : microwave, electric cooker and hob, airfryer, DeLonghi coffee maker and a fridge/freezer. The dining room had a table that could seat 6 in comfort. Richard's attention to detail shown by the number of plug converters provided as well as the games and books available. The lounge had comfy settees and a TV with a wide range of UK channels. Aircon throughout with automatic blinds for the 2 bedrooms that needed them. The highlight for us was the balcony that had the sun from early morning to late afternoon and was equipped with long settees and an electric canopy for when the sun was too hot AND access to a large solarium with ample comfortable loungers AND a heated swimming pool.
Richard was a very thoughtful and considerate landlord. We enjoyed the experience so much that we have booked two more visits !!

Hi All just returned from a 3 week stay at Filin14 apartment. This is in my opinion this a definite 5 star apartment. It has everything that you could ever wanted from a 5 star apartment. I have absolutely enjoyed my stay,and look forward to my next visit in January. I might add that I am stay at another apartment of Richard. Wherever you stay in any of Richard’s apartments you can expect same level of luxury.

Filin 14 is an excellent apartment in so many ways. We enjoyed two weeks here in September where the weather was consistently great. Too hot for us some days though. This was our fourth holiday in Mogan but our first time in this apartment. It is in an excellent location close to the beach, marina and many excellent restaurants and bars. It is also between two supermarkets. Spar being very near to the right and Super Dino a little further away to the left, opposite the Hotel Cordial Mogan. The apartment is well equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but has everything. We loved the capsule coffee machine. We also used the air fryer which is a great bonus to have. The drinking water filtration tap is excellent and what's not to love about a washing machine! We were able to get our clothes washed and dried the day before our return to rainy Ireland. We enjoyed having the smart TV with Netflix etc and English channels. The balcony was wonderful with the electric awning and terrific views. We also made good use of the upstairs terrace and swimming pool. We had it to ourselves on many occasions. The addition of the staircase steps into the pool is very useful for anyone with mobility issues. There is also a chair lift up to the terrace which we were glad to see being used on one occasion. There is a lift to Richard's apartment on the third floor. So it's an ideal apartment for anyone who maybe is not so mobile. The air conditioning in the Lounge was most welcome as we got hotter days than we were expecting. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the Master Bedroom is automatically turned off at 22.00 hours. We completely understand the reason for this so as not to disturb the neighbouring apartment at night. There is no air conditioning in the other two bedrooms. But there are overhead fans in all rooms. As we are only two people we felt Golden Beach 4 (Richard's other apartment) was a better fit for us. It was booked out this time around but we are booked in there for 2026. Having said that, if we did need more rooms, we would have no hesitation in staying in Filin again. Just maybe in a cooler month, if there is such a thing! The bathroom is small but has a large walk in shower and the water temperature and pressure are both excellent. We felt very safe in this home away from home. Security is big with Richard along with his gadgets. He is a very kind person. He cares about his properties and his clients. He is very easy to contact and responds like lightening to any query. We can only hope that he will continue in the business whilst exploring new ventures. We are now back home, looking out at the rain, and missing Mogan after only one day!

This is our second visit to the apartment and we will definitely return. Richard has thought of everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped - lovely terrace and the pool area is a great spot for sunbathing. The apartment is well situated for the beach, shops and restaurants.

We’ve been coming to Puerto mogan for 15 years and have stayed in a few different apartments. Filin 14 is excellent. Good location. Clean. Spacious. Richard is a great host and has tried to think of everything his guests need. Communication was first class and Price is fair too. This has been our second visit and won’t be our last.

We have Just returned home, after a lovely 10 day stay

The Apartment is lovely, very spacious, three lovely bedrooms nice bathroom, with great shower
Bright and spacious lounge with kitchen
Lovely sunny terrace, with great views of the mountains and above Mogan (you can also see the sea)

There is a lovely roof top terrace with swimming pool (80% of the time we went up there we were on our own)

The apartment is only a 5/6 minute walk to the Bars and Restaurants (plenty to choose from all serving great food and drinks) lovely when the two of us are Chefs on holiday:-))

If you are looking for a lovely place to stay, get in quickly as very busy (we have been lucky to stay here for our last to visits and hopefully get in again next year)

First of all Richard the owner met us on arrival and went through everything we needed to know.The apartment is wonderfully located, 5 mins stroll from a supermarket, 10 minute stroll to town and Marina. The apartment is very spacious, clean, quiet and with added benefits like all U.K. channels, air fryer, electric sun awning. The balcony had lovely Grattan style very comfortable settee and chairs. I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

Richard is really great to deal with and is always modernising this apartment. This was our 3rd visit and we have already booked again for November 2025.

The location is great with supermarkets and restaurants within 5 mins walk.

The 3 bedroom apartment is spacious and has a lovely balcony. The kitchen is well equipped and it’s great having the washing machine. The lounge has ample seating and the TV has lots to view including UK channels.

The rooftop pool is great and there are plenty of sun loungers.

Would highly recommend.

Filin 14 is a great apartment, easy access to the bus station, beach and harbour.
Everything you need for a home from home holiday, fully equipped kitchen, and a water filter, so no need to trail to shops for bottled water.
Parking space in underground garage.
Pool is great, and loads of space to sunbathe.
Lovely terrace to sit out on.
We had such a lovely holiday and will definitely be back.
Richard is a great host, we’ve only ever been on package holidays, so trusting in your host is vital.

Great location. Well equipped spacious apartment with large balcony. Roof top swimming pool was perfect for our family but very easy walk to the beach.

This was our second time at Filin 14 and we rebooked as we knew that the apartment has everything you are likely to need. It is only a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants in one direction and the commercial centre in the other. Even though it is on the main road in to the resort the double glazing means that it is very quiet. The balcony and rooftop pool get the sun most of the day and as the pool is only available to Filin residents it is usually very quiet.
The owner Richard is available if there are any problems and he went over and above the call of duty for us as I carelessly reversed our hire car in to a pillar by the apartments parking place in the garage. Richard happened to be there and kindly buffed off the damage on the car ensuring no issues when it was returned at the end of the holiday! As an example of his attention to detail which is reflected in the whole apartment he is going to put high vis padding on the offending pillar so no one else is daft enough to do the same!
I cannot recommend Filin 14 enough and we will be returning when we can.

Filin 14 was the best self-catering apartment we’ve ever stayed in, as everything had been thought of in advance. Communication with Richard was easy and efficient, and he was there to meet us even though our plane was delayed. The apartment was extremely clean throughout, with cleaning products, vacuum cleaners, dustpan and brush, tea towels, dishcloths, rubbish sacks etc all available, and fresh white linen on all the beds, plenty of towels and also a big stack of beach towels.

The three bedrooms had comfortable beds and were all well equipped with storage for clothes as well as plenty of hanging space with hangers. Hairdryers included. Each room had a ceiling fan and TV with remote controls. The largest bedroom also had a black out blind. There were also electric adaptors for UK plugs and USB ports.

Small bathroom but with plenty of room for walk in shower, basin and toilet, all very clean. Toilet rolls and soap provided.

There was a dining room with table and chairs, large lounge area with huge TV, sofas and coffee table. Fully equipped kitchen, with oven, microwave, hob, grill, coffee machine, air fryer, and plenty of pots, pans, utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery. The complimentary tea, coffee and milk were brilliant as we arrived so late. Having the washing machine and the built-in airer on the balcony meant we didn’t need to bring loads of clothes, as very easy to wash and get dry in the sun. We appreciated using the cool box for a picnic, the supply of books, games, leaflets and maps.

The balcony was delightful, as it was spacious and comfortable, with a canopy to give shade when needed, as it got the sun most of the day. We could see the sea from the balcony, and the beach was about 7 minutes walk away. The rooftop pool area was lovely, with plenty of umbrellas and loungers. Very quiet, we hardly saw anyone else use it.

Just over the road is the Spar where we got all our food shopping. Plenty of local restaurants and cafes in the vicinity, lots of little shops, and the Friday market. The apartment is also 1 minute’s walk from the bus station, which made the transfer to the airport super easy.

Puerto de Mogan is gorgeous, with its beautiful marina, sandy beach and safe bathing and snorkelling. We had a week in October/November of warm sunny weather, consistently 23°C during the days, but not too hot at night, so perfect.

We had the best holiday, and wished we could have stayed longer. I would thoroughly recommend Filin 14 to anyone.

We’ve just returned from 10 days here. This apartment is fabulous and the BEST we’ve ever stayed in.
Richard , the owner has thought carefully about what people would like in an apartment and made it a great and enjoyable place to stay . The beds are really comfortable, and the lounge and
terrace are very pleasant places to chill. WiFi was good and English TV/ Netflix available if you wanted it.
The filtered water system is great, saving the carrying of water bottles from the supermarket. Having beach towels there saved on the packing and all the adapters and USB ports are provided too.
The rooftop pool is great and perfect for our disabled daughter, as it’s the same depth all over. Often we were the only ones up there!
Puerto Mogan itself is beautiful , with lots of lovely restaurants . Filin 14 is only a few minutes walk from the supermarkets , shops, beach and bus station, so is in a great location !
Richard is a very good landlord who is on hand if there are any problems . Thank you Richard , we would love to return in the future.

Couldn’t recommend this highly enough.
The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, the swimming pool is an excellent size and generally pretty empty ( we had it to ourselves most of the time.)
Excellent location, not noisy but close to the centre.
Richard was as usual very helpful.
In summary a brilliant apartment in s lovely town .

Me and my wife had a 10 days stay in Filin 14 April 2024. All communication with the host Richard was been completely smooth and prompt from the reservation until we left. Richard is the best host we could imagine. The apartment was completely outstanding amazing, it felt like a real home for us. All equipment you need plus a bit more. On the terrace we spent most of our time, it was the best terrace we ever have had. The location is 10+ as the apartment its a bit away from the "down town" but close enough. And the weather was great. We will definitely return one day!

We had a lovely time in the 3 bedroom apartment! Everything we needed was there, also for our 3 year old son, like a babybed, bath, potty and a child seat. The apartment is spacious, it has airconditioning, a music system all through the apartment, tv, etc. We loved the balcony.
The location is perfect: a 5 minutes walk to centre of Puerto Mogán, Where you can find a lot of nice restaurants, a weekly market, shops, bars, beach, harbor etc. We loved the ambiance in Puerto Mogan, it has a lot of charm. We loved walking around in the little streets with lots of flowers.
There is also a nice rooftop pool, but our son preferred the beach, that was more childfriendly (he could walk in and out the water at the beach himself).
Richard was very quick with answering questions, before our trip and during our stay. Even when we had a problem with the electricity (because of our own fault), Richard came to the apartment immediately to solve it for us.
We would love to come back sometime.

Large 3 bed apartment with all mod cons. 5 mins walk to supermarket, bars, restaurants and beach. Quiet heated roof top pool which we mainly had to ourselves.
Apartment has everything you need for your holiday, the balcony has a really nice sofa for relaxing. Beds were comfortable.
The water filter system was a great addition saving on walking up from the supermarket with water bottles.
Richard the owner answers all questions promptly and is available if any you should have any problems. He kindly allowed us to stay on later as nobody was going in the apartment the same day which made our last day more relaxing. Would recommend and return.

Regrettably today is the last day of our 9 day holiday in Filin 14. The apartment was perfect for us (2 adults) and is situated within a 5 minute walk to 2 supermarkets and a short 7 minute walk to the beach and marina. Loads of very good bars and restaurants close by too. Richard makes life very easy for his guests as he has every gadget necessary for a relaxing holiday. The filtered tap is brilliant as it saves carrying bottled water back from the supermarket. A few days prior to our arrival there was a bad flood in the apartment and he worked very hard to get it back into shape for us. Thank you Richard. He is a very hands on landlord and is very quick to respond to any queries. We would highly recommend Filin 14 to anyone who is looking to rent directly from an owner rather than from an impersonal large outfit. We have booked our return visit for January 2025.

Great place to stay, well equipped apartment and roof terrace with a pool a delight.
Everything within walking distance would recommend. Will come back again at some point.
