Where they drill the access hole for the cable will need a double electrical socket near it. Make sure you have a double socket extension if necessary. You will have to provide this.

Quick and efficient installation. We discussed and agreed the preferred route and place for the cable to enter my home. Didn’t realise I was required to proved an electrical extension with a double socket for the terminal box and router as there wasn’t a convenient double socket near where the access hole in the wall was drilled. This is something to be aware of, where they drill the hole for the cable they will need a double socket near it.

On the socket situation, you’ve caught us out on one of the “small print but actually important” bits there! Full Fibre does need power for both the ONT and the router, so a handy double socket nearby is definitely one of those “good to know before the drill comes out” moments. We’re really sorry this wasn’t made clearer upfront, and we’ll absolutely take that on board so future installs are better prepped.

Great experience getting Fibrus…

Great experience getting Fibrus installed. Tidy installation team. Plenty of communication before installation. Only negative was the time slot on the day. Was contacted day before to say work be between 1pm & 6pm. Fortunately my daughter was home when they arrived at 11am. Connection straight away, simple process. Definitely better connection from previous provider.
