Discovered FemmeFatalefinishes following a Google search for painted furniture. Our dining suite was structurally very sound but sadly colour etcetera not up to scratch so we asked Kate over the phone for an idea of cost which she gave us and took it from there. Suffice to say the finishing is absolutely superb and the finished article is now resplendent in our dining room this was a big project with dining table six chairs, two sideboards and large mirror but well worth the effort and I heartily recommend it to anybody considering rejuvenating their furniture.

Kate did a truly wonderful job renovating our old but much loved sleigh bed. Gone is the ‘antique’ pine varnish and instead the beauty of the wood shines through. She also worked miracles on some bad scratches. It’s like new - only even better. Thank you, Kate!

Kate always does an exceptional job, a craftswoman that takes an obvious pride in her work she brought our old wooden parquet floors back to life and gave and refreshed an old dining room cupboard to fit with the room.

We have a contemporary matt wood finish kitchen, which unfortunately got a scratch down one of the doors. Due to the nature of the finish and style of the doors I was nervous that this could be repaired. Kate did a fantastic job of matching this. I would highly recommend her!

Excellent work painting our sideboard. Great to deal with from start to finish - making sure she knew our exact requirements and the precise colour we wanted. Helpful sorting out filling previous handle holes and drilling new holes.

I found Femme Fatale through google, and from first contact Kate was great to deal with. I got a super quick response and fast initial consultation. Kate handled the whole job effortlessly and delivered quicker than expected. The job was to strip, stain and refinish our beloved antique kitchen table. The finish is impeccable, we love it, and the table looks better than it ever has. I was worried that by stripping the table back we'd loose some of it's character, but Kate has managed to strip off the old and add refinish it better than it was. I'd highly recommend Kate, she's a real craftswomen with a great eye for detail!
