We found a property via Zillow our realtor helped us in contacting feder, we had our concerns and our realtor assured us she has dealt with them so we trusted them. It has been over 30 days and we have not received our refund. Has anyone here received theirs or has anyone’s sued them ?

Although federal is stating my issue was resolve I still do not see the money back in my account. I have recordings of every call of them saying it will be resolved within the week and I still don’t have my money.

Big Scam. stay away. they took a deposit and did not honor my request for a refund. Luckily i disputed the charge with my credit card.

I deposited a total of $11,500 (for a house I bid on) and it cleared my account. Federa states they have not received the funds, so they will not issue a refund.

This is a scam!!!! Don not use this company. The government site stated that the auction was cancelled and they lie to you, so you can deposit money with them which you will not get back! Total scam!!!!

Called multiple times as well as texted to receive information about a listed auction on a foreclosure property.
Never received contact on any level.
Stayed on phone call hold for over 1 hour with no answer and no return text message.
One week later, I noticed the auction listing had been removed 1 day prior to auction per Realtor.com.
I truly hope people are smart and do not use this "company" for anything.

I have been requesting my $5000 deposit to be refunded for over a month now, I made multiple calls and emailed their finance department several times, no response on my email, the customer service phone line each time after long music hold wait told me it will be processed in a couple days, but nothing happening still after a month. We need to hold this business responsible.

Federa home app is a scam. I bid $185,016 on a home and they said I lost, "Reserve not met". I found out the next day the home sold at a legit auction for $177,800. This occurred on May 14,2025. I am still waiting on my deposit refund as of May 23. My credit card company is investigating and I finally received my refund May 29th.

They have not returned my 10k deposit! They keep trying to take down my reviews and say it’s part of a winter update which is not true. They have not resolved everything do not trust

It has been almost two months since I requested the return of my $20,000 deposit. Support and finance team keep promising that it will be sent as soon as possible, but nothing has happened. This business appears to be a SCAM

They scammed be for 10,000 don’t call for it too. This is my second review they tried to get the first one removed do not deposit a dollar I’ve been trying to get my money back for over a month. It is not because of their update they do this to everybody year around!!

Multiple reviews warn that they do not return deposits in a timely manner. They say it can take up to 30 days. However my $10,000 deposit is still not returned and it has been over 30 days. Be warned that you may need to keep following up and may not get your deposit back. Hopefully I'll get it back soon.

This is a scam. Do not put your money here — you will lose it. They never refund your deposit.
I trusted this process because the property was listed on the MLS, thinking it was legitimate. But after making me wait over 30 days for a refund, they stopped answering calls and emails.
I’ve been on hold for over an hour, multiple times, and no one ever answers. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

People need to be aware — do not trust this company. I’m already taking further action.

federa.com is a scam i am a realtor in the orlando market they gave me 3 listings i had hundreds if people intrested which i found odd. i did more research i found i bunch of stuff against them. feel free to contact me i will share my evidence with you for free.

i read the responce what does a system upgrade has to do with federa being a shady company.

How can I give this federa less than 1 star!!!
It’s been over 7 months and im still waiting for my $5,000 deposit after not winning their “auction”.
After numerous emails back and forth they blame it on their payment company “stripe” and when I contacted stripe they never got any request.

This company is scammy and I don’t write negative reviews but I don’t want anyone to lose money. Please be careful. Personally I would not recommend doing ANY business with this company. Just try calling them and pretend to ask for a refund and see where it gets you and how long it takes for a response..that will tell you all you need to know.

Federa is a scam.
They were very quick to intake my $1500 deposit in minutes.
Their so called website that gives you acsess to real-estate auctions was showcasing houses that were technically scheduled but had been paid off so they were removed from the county list. However federa was so called showing the auction was on and bidding was continuing that is when I realized these guys are putting on fake bids. So I tried to get my money back. And right away the website said it will take 30 days which already was a red flag. So I waited a month and no payment came through. I called them at 18665818268 and they claimed to have an issue with stripe and after pushing for an answer they said I would get paid end of November. 2 weeks past no payment I call again and mInd you once they know your number they keep you waiting an hour until they answer so you need to try from a new phone number. And it's always the same lady answering so after 2 times she comes up with the excuse that they have a banking issue. She did admit that they can receive payments but can't process refunds which I find to be ridiculous at least be a good liar. She kept on saying your payment will come... it's all lies.
I'm still waiting for my refund and it's almost 8 weeks. Every part of this screams its a scam stay away!
