Beware - Federa is a scam. Deposit of 15 gran was not refunded despite promises after 40+ days. Seems like they are insolvent and is likely candidate for bankruptcy.

Update 06th July: the promise was a lie and the refund has not been received. This company is insolvent.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is completely unprofessional and negligent. They will take your money, charge extra to submit the funds quickly and if you do not win the bid they do not return your money! Its been over 60 days and I have yet to receive my refund, their fiance team will stop responding to your inquires and their customer service will tell you there is a technical issue. They are absolutely horrible and should not be in business and I will make it my priority to shut them down!! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

I sent $100,000.00 (2, $50k ACH transfers about a half hour apart), which were available for bidding on May 18, 2026. The same day I requested the funds for refund because the property overbid my strike price. After numerous phone calls with Emma, Laura, Andrew, Besi (customer service) and Daniel (finance) and Alex AI, no money despite promised 100% return by 30 days, now June 25, 2026, over a week past their written return policy. Now a phone call was disconnected after 10-minute hold, second phone call with 15-min hold went to voicemail. Filing with the DBPR of Florida, contacted news agencies in WPB and Orlando. My husband had a stroke and we are looking to get out of second floor condo for ease of his left-sided weakness, and this happens for our first floor bedroom attempt. Return our house down payment! Buyer beware. Is this an escrow policy for “seamless transactions” as touted on their LinkedIn account with over 1700 followers? I would be a huge cheerleader if they do good to do well.

Update 6.26.26 with reply to federa.com’s response. (How do I flag this?!) Absolute falseness. There is NO resolution. …Federa did not resolve the issue or refund the 100K deposit. Website still shows “Pending Approval” and NOT “Posted.” Our funds are NOT yet returned or resolved. Return customer funds AS PER your stated written policy and your ratings will reflect truth. Otherwise, find a real vocation. This is sickening.

Federa is a Scam, I made a deposit of $5000 a year ago and after unsuccessful bid I asked a refund since 28 March 2026 until today 22 Jun 2026 Laura William told me next week but she’s a liar , last week I spoke to the manager Emma and she told me the finance department will make deposits in my account on the 18 June 2026, she also à liar. (7/1/26) My Bank - You don't have to call them anymore. After 35 days I went to my Bank and filed for a chargeback. It was a process. Took a month. I called Federa this past Monday morning. Same story. We're working on it. We are having technical issues. When those are fixed. Don't worry. You'll get your money back. I'll make sure of it.

I said Well, I'll call my Bank and see how they are doing. They had secured the chargeback a week before and were waiting to hear back from Federa. They didn't. My bank took care of the situation.

Federa - it's been six days since they Federa reviewed my review, said something about a technical issue, and would get it to the right department and get my refund.

It's been six days since then, six weeks since I requested my deposit return. I asked my Bank for a chargeback. The Bank called them today, and no one answered.

They have my deposit of 10k over 9 months and won't give it back. They keep giving me the same bs of escalating my case but never do anything. It is down right illegal scam.

There a scam do not give them any deposit they will steal your money. I’ve been trying to get my deposit back from them for more than 4 months and still nothing I’ve lost my hope. Every time I contact them I’m told it will be processed in a few days that’s been since March now we’re in June and nothing.(reply to your reply) I have contacted you team at least twice a week since May 18th and I get the same response “ its been escalated and it will be processed this week” well since then it’s been 4 weeks and nothing. I actually called in this morning and got the same response from your team. So quit the BS and process my refund to my credit card that it should be very clear where the funds came from.

Federa and Emma are scammers. Over 70 days have gone by and there is still no refund of my $12,000. They should be in jail for taking people’s money!

I made an offer to one of they properties and unfortunately my bid was to low , I had a good experience talking to an agent he was very knowledgeable and helpful my deposit was returned on time no delay, thank you

This site is not as bad as everyone says it is. I got my refund back (it did take a couple days).
I didn’t give 5 stars because the auctioning process was dragged out long that it was supposed to be.

Federa has kept my deposits of over $15k (life savings) for over six months now and I really do not know what to do. Every attempt to recover my money has been impossible.

Before working with this company, I had read many of the reviews and was initially hesitant. Still, I decided to take a chance. Fortunately, my experience was very positive and quite different from what I expected.
Although I didn’t win the auction, I appreciated the opportunity to try something new and found the experience worthwhile. The customer service team was responsive, addressing my questions promptly and providing helpful resources. When I submitted a refund request, it was processed quickly—I received my money back within two to three days.
Overall, I would recommend this company and would consider using their services again. Thank you.

I was very excited when I first found out about Federa. I downloaded the app and had lots of hopes on purchasing a home. I made many bids and in a few I had won the bids and when I crossed reference to the county auction I was the higher bidder. When speaking with Federa customer service there was always a reason why I did not win. Weather the seller didn't accept my offers or the property had many liens and federa honor clean tittle. What bothered me was the effort and the time it took to get my deposit back. I see federa to have good potential, guess it needs better management.

Team was very helpful. Every time I called, they assisted us greatly by clearly explaining the information and providing support throughout the process.

COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!! Refund has been in process almost 2 months all they say oh by the end of today by the end of today and it doesn’t get processed.

I am wondering how the Florida State are allowing them to operate their scam.
I am working with the Bank and next I will take my Florida Attorneys to dig into those bandits base. Once I start that, I won't stop!

This is the proper channels. You return my money back & everyone else. And this ASAP!

That is your response to my previous review, you don’t have to discuss any account specifications. The issue here is that $55,500 was wired to federa.com for an auction that did not take place as the property was not sold. I have continuously made contact through email and phone calls for my money to be returned. It is past 45 days and I have no confirmation on when my money will be returned. If I do not receive the money by this Friday I will have to involve all legal channels.

I have been trying to get my money back of around 7k from federa since November of 2025. I talked to Andrew and he keeps telling me that finance will contact me about my refund. Finance has yet to send me a confirmation email about the refund.

there is no customer service, every times I called there was no response . When you place a bid , you find out auction closing date changed several times, Federa will not return your deposit, this is scam!!

I deposited $47k to bid on a house. I did not win the auction. This was in December, It is now April 2026. I still haven't received my money back. I call almost daily and they say by the end of the week, every time. I'm forced to hire a attorney. I've contacted all the local authorities I can think of. Plus FBI. Hoping something happens. I've wrote other reviews. They will reply to this saying they're not doing anything wrong and the money is in the processing department blah blah blah. I'm not going to but this go. I'm going to make things right.
