I can't speak for other peoples experiences with this company, I think it depends on the quality you go for but my first order arrived quickly, well boxed; I chose one of the hand built Ficus trees which was top quality and has not disappointed. Looks very realistic with real wooden trunk/branches and even better than I expected. Have now ordered 4 more plants from them.

Inferior quality product & absurd customer service. One plant, which looked like nothing on the website, constantly shed glitter so I had to throw it out. Everything had a strong chemical smell which did not dissipate after time. Worryingly unhealthy.

Ordered a Deluxe Kentia Palm. There is nothing deluxe or palm like about this product. Looks cheap, plastic and leaves are not realistic in the slightest.
Called to have it returned. They want £20 to arrange collection, which will be deducted from your refund. I’m going to return via the post office. So will be £15+ out of pocket between the delivery and return costs for the experience of having a poor quality product sent to me.

Flawless products and customer service. Can’t believe some of the negative reviews they’ve received, absolutely not the case. Brilliant company and I love everything I have from evergreen, will definitely be a return customer

The artificial tree I received looked nothing like the website image. Poor quality and very plastic looking. There are better products out there for the same money or less.

Fantastic plants. Look just like the real thing. Would highly recommend.

Use another retailer they don’t send you the goods, now out of pocket

Edit: seeing as they are now denying the order was made with order number 100031305 and yes I eventually got the money back.

Took money, did not supply any good, have not yet had any form of refund one month after purchase. we have had no reply or any form of communication from them.

Returned some trees as the quality was very poor, branches dripping off as soon as the packaging was open,
I called for a refund, they booked me a next day pick up to return them, after two weeks I still not heard they had received them.
After three phone calls they tracked my delivery and said they had not been able to collect them and no one was in,
I spoke to the pick up service who said evergreen had received them the week before. A clear lie. I had to send in my camera video evidence to prove that I had sent them back.
I will never order from this company again.
Out to make money in any aspect they can.
Terrible customer service.

Over the last six months I have bought several plants from Evergreen Direct they have been and still are perfect. They have been in a very windy position on a balcony even drenched with pouring rain and yet still look in very good condition. The delivery was on time and when i needed advice about size and suitability was given good advice.
I cannot fault them in any way.

I wish I had checked this company out before I signed a contract that they hurried me through!
They promised me that the funeral home wanted us as their estate law firm. After we paid and get through the process of our design, they send us the book and two of our local competitors are in the book too!

They are not honest!!! Be very careful about what they say. They had a very friendly salesperson tell me we were exclusive and surprise... we are not!!! They signed up two other law firms for ads in same booklet! Lots of money for the ad and not worth the money if we are there with two others!!!!
We are in Los Angeles where competition it tough and they pay me big time. Now they are saying we should have read the contract!!! YES we should have. BEWARE they are a bait ans switch firm with very friendly sales rep with cute British accent. DO NOT LET THEM CATCH YOU!!

I have been doing ads for 43 years and this has to be rock bottom of ad companies. They are money takers without service. The only time you will see someone is to have you sign a contract and they don't tell you the fine print until after you sign. Then they got you. Think twice before you deal with this company. Very disappointed with all 3 of my purchases. The conifer is made up of lots of very small leaves that fall off. The spike on the pansies is far to short, and the Heather plant cheap and plastic looking

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had, and from apparently their "manager of sales". Spent weeks customising the order with sales person without ever once mentioning delivery service, then after they received full payment we discover they hire the cheapest possible delivery service to just dump your expensive product on the curb side. Don't deal with this company. They are dishonest and try to hide the fact that they offer horrible delivery service that they actually charge £25 for! I assume the hedges will also be crap, but may never know, as they have never been delivered.

Spent a fortune on the artificial tree and plant pot. Pot had numerous deep scratches, contacted them straight away and glue stuck around the edges of the pot. Reply was to place it so that it isn’t visible. Shocking! Appalled.

I ordered a selection of artificial plants from Evergreen Direct/Evergreen Trees & Shrubs to fill/dress an indoor planter and, despite three leaves breaking off the second I pulled it out of the box, I began trying to carefully manipulate the largest of the plants (a large-leaf Trailing Maple Ivy) into a more realistic shape. I had barely removed the wire-ties that had bound the long ivy stems together during transit when a further two leaves broke off, and they weren't of the 'collar & post' type that can be slid back on either ... all five leaves had literally snapped off their stems, meaning either a bothersome repair (which I wasn't prepared to do for a brand-new item) or a return. Worried that if I continued to manipulate the ivy, only more leaves would snap off, I emailed Evergreen Direct to explain my situation. I was advised to return the order, initially at my own expense, and that the item would be examined and a refund issued if they considered the item to be faulty. With the largest of the plants, quite central to my display, being returned, the two other smaller plants (one with creased, inauthentic-looking leaves) would not have been enough to fill my planter on their own, so I opted to return everything. Trusting that they would find the Ivy to be defective (I mean, who would think it acceptable that with only the gentlest of handling the leaves are snapping off?!) I paid £5.95 to return my order. Two days later, I got an email saying they found nothing wrong with the ivy and that I wouldn't be getting my postage costs refunded. This response left me thinking that, if they expected ME to accept an item with at least five large leaves missing with no guarantees that more will break off, they must believe the Ivy to be of an acceptable and, therefore, resaleable condition, meaning it's likely they will happily despatch it to some other unsuspecting customer. And if they won't, why did they expect me to accept it? In short, I have absolutely NOTHING to show for my dealings with Evergreen Direct/Evergreen Trees & Shrubs except a lot of wasted time (writing/replying to emails, printing/filling-out a return form, ordering/printing a return label, emailing a receipt for my postage costs, carefully repackaging the items and taking them to the Post Office) and I'm now £5.95 out of pocket into the bargain. I did email them again to express the point of acceptable/resaleable condition, but after waiting for five days, it seems they have chosen to ignore it. My advice to anyone considering buying from Evergreen Direct/Evergreen Trees & Shrubs is to give them a wide berth, save yourself the unnecessary hassle, disappointment and out-of-pocket expense and invest your money elsewhere.
