Jon answered all my millions of questions before the install as I had no idea about electric car chargers. As an interior designer I was concerned about the design aspect of the box also. We agreed on the British brand Simpson and partners. On install day Jon and Alex were great and very quick and professional. I am a very particularly fussy person and they were perfect doing their work.

I looked at a number of options for my EV charging point and was keen to use someone local to me (wickford) rather than a national company that want you to take photos and videos and manage the inspection remotely. I had the pleasure of Jon and Alex installing my new home EV charger last week. I spoke to Jon several times before the charger was installed and he was able to answer all of the questions I had and advise on the best solution for my charging needs. On the day of the install Jon and Alex arrived on time, got straight to work and did a very neat job of routing the cable and mounting the charging point. They also did a great job of tidying up after the work was finished (I think they even hoovered parts of the driveway to get rid of any brick dust from drilling!). Once the installation was complete Alex and Jon spent time to go through everything I needed to know from pairing the app to the charger, explaining scheduled charging and what I need to be aware of in the event of power cuts/surges etc. Overall I'm extremely happy with the service I received from Jon and Alex at EV Charging Systems and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needs an EV charger installed.

Initially, I planned to speak with other companies to compare pricing, but after asking for recommendations, EV Charging Systems came up multiple times!

I totally recommend EV Charging Systems.
I've had 2x chargers installed by them now, on different properties 3 years apart. From initial contact, all communication was straight forward and clear - definitely needed for an EV novice and slightly disabled user! With limited hand mobility I needed simplicity and Jon knew both times which were the best units/options for my needs.
The first install was on an old building, the second was on a full refurb - both were seamless 👍🏻

Very helpful in providing options and guidance as to what Charger is best. Turned up on time and did a brilliant neat install. Only downside was power was off longer than I expected. Stayed around to try and fully set up as much as possible including the app connection, but I believe this is a issue with the charging unit rather than their service. Would recommend.
