Fraudsters - Stay clear

Very dodgy company, I attempted to order some door handles. Following the complete order screen, I was directed to the home screen. No confirmation, no email. No nothing. Then 3/4 days later, they had taken out 3 payments for the amount I was attempting to pay. STAY CLEAR!!!!!

Goldilocks screws

Beautiful art deco door knobs. Came with 2 different length screws but neither fitted. Like Goldilocks one was too short and the other too long. 2 day search for ones the right length and thread. All 8 now in place and looking great.

Complete lack of communication

Complete lack of communication. Turns out what we'd ordered wasn't available, but we had email confirming order & delivery date. I suspect that if I hadn't rung them, we'd still be waiting for delivery. Sorted alternative product, but again had to chase to get it delivered. Subsequently needed additional parts to fit, which they did manage to source & get out to us in good time, & sent FOC. Small redeeming fact

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST, WORST COMPANY I'VE DEALT WITH AS A TRADESMEN!

What can I say! Ordered an Espagnolette lock set in June, website said it was in stock, their delivery terms and conditions stated in stock items would be dispatched within 24hrs, it took 4 weeks to turn up! Fitted the lock, chopping in all the keeps, everything good and just about to leave the job, lock case failed, had to remove everything and refit the existing, called the company, took 7 weeks for a replacement and they refused to pay the return postage after telling me they would, fitted it and same issue. Requested a refund and nothing, in the process with trading standards to get my money back!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

UPDATE TO EUROART RESPONSE!!

The website stated the item was in stock and ready for dispatch, how else am I meant to read this?

The lock case was clearly faulty, manufactured in India and supplied with a slightly larger replacement cam in the packaging, clearly showing that EUROART had, had issues previously, the replacement was identical, nothing to do with installation but solely to do with poorly manufactured goods.

Their response clearly shows what sort of a company you would be dealing with when something goes wrong..... Good luck with EUROART!!!

We’d like to clarify again with the correct facts:

1. The item you ordered was not an in-stock product.
It was clearly listed as a made-to-order item, which does not fall under our 24-hour dispatch policy. The delivery timeframe you received was exactly the one stated at the time of purchase.

2. The product was not faulty due to manufacturing.
You are the only customer to report repeated failures of this model, and the issues described are consistent with installation-related problems, not a defect. The spare cam in the box is included by the manufacturer as a standard part of the set — it is not supplied because of known faults.

3. Return postage & replacements
Return postage is covered only when a confirmed manufacturing fault is found. Your item was outside warranty, and replacements outside warranty are chargeable, as stated in our policy.

4. Refund
Your order has already been refunded in full as a goodwill gesture, despite no fault being found.

We understand you are unhappy, but your update still includes claims that do not match the actual order details or the policies you agreed to at purchase. We have acted fully within our stated terms.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Original item (ceramic) was dispatched promptly and well packaged yet due to Royal Mail the item was broken.

Contacted customer service who immediately contacted owned the problem, apologised (all too rare these days) and promised an immediate replacement.

This was delivered promptly and item was over-packed to ensure received safely and in top condition - which it was.

Great service - thank you.

Shoddy goods and bad customer service - do not buy from this company

Our locksmith ordered us an espagnolet lock from this company. It broke due to a faulty internal mechanism, within 9 months. The company absolutely refuse to replace or fix it, saying it was out of their THREE MONTH warranty. What kind of shoddy lock is only guaranteed for 3 months?
Now they want to charge us £110 to replace it. They also charged postage for return of the faulty goods and their customer service representative was absolutely immovable. What a joke of a company. We are going to report them to Trading Standards. Avoid them.

*UPDATE*
Euroart are denying any knowledge of this, in their public response. We have full written proof that we eventually had to threaten them with action in the small claims court to get our money back for this shoddy lock. Unfortunately I cannot attach screengrabs here to prove these issues but our one star review still stands: avoid this company.

If you do have written communication, it is important to note that only orders placed directly with Euro Art, through our official website or channels, appear in our system.
If the order was placed by a third party—such as your locksmith or another retailer—our company would not hold your personal details, and any communication you received may have come from them.

To date, you have not provided any verifiable information that allows us to match your case to an actual Euro Art order. Without this, we cannot confirm whether the purchase was ever made from us.

Regarding warranty and charges:

Our warranty terms are clearly stated at purchase.
Warranty claims can only be made by the original buyer.
Any replacement outside the warranty period is chargeable, which is standard within the industry.
Return postage is only covered in cases of confirmed manufacturing fault within the warranty period.

We remain fully transparent and are more than willing to review the situation properly, but we can only do so with verifiable order information.

Items not refunded

Web ironmongery UK also uses this address. I returned unopened package hinges to this company via recorded royal mail delivery with a request for refund. When I heard nothing from them I made contact. At their request I emailed the photographed recorded delivery slip. I received an email that I would be refunded. This has never happened, and subsequent emails have been ignored. BUYER BEWARE

Espagnolette door bolt spares

Euroart have very kindly offered to send me some new internals for an espagnolette bolt that I have that is very similar to theirs but that came from a different company - the cog inside is very weak and they have offered to send me theirs to replace.

Good comunication and delivery but…

Good comunication and delivery but shoddy goods.
Door knocker was poorly cast and i had to spend hours filing down hinge lugs in order to get item to fit to door. Still wont work properly and would have returned it if was not desperately required.

Terrible experience - avoid this company!!!

Terrible experience – avoid this company!
I ordered a specific item, but they sent me the wrong product. I’ve emailed them multiple times with no response. They never sent a return form and have completely ignored all attempts to contact them. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone – shop elsewhere if you value your time and money.
