I have to agree with almost all of the comments I have read in this review page. I have lived in a number of countries around the world. Never have I experienced a company as bad as Etisalat...and they just don't seem to care that this is the case. Their technical service is third-world standard - with pathetic to non-existent wi-fi coverage throughout my villa. Their "customer service" is a joke and, as noted above, none of the employees seem to care in this regard; their rates/prices are extortionate; they charge you for things that are fictitious and it is almost impossible to contest (even in the unlikely event you can actually reach a human being) - you simply have to pay or they will disconnect you;...I could go on. How can this company be allowed to maintain such a monopoly. It seems ridiculous, but having to deal with Etisalat (for the past 5+ years) is probably the worst single issue I have with living in Dubai.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, and very bad service. After four complaints and five agents, the issue is still unresolved. They charge high for a non existant service, and completely robotic staff with zero ability to solve anything. For days I am repeating the same complaint, and each time I am told the complaint was never filled even though I can see it in the portal. The portal is useless as it doesn't operate propery and you cannot submit even after hours of trying to do so. Terrible.

Etisalat is the top SCAMMING company. I had more than 20 complaints against them and I raised most of them to TRN to follow up with them on these requests.
Some of these complaints are:
1- once, the internet cable in my area was disconnected and the internet in my house was down.
Etisalat did not announce or send any notification to customers that the service is down and when it is expected to go up again.
When the technician visited me, even after the service was claimed to be up, I still had no internet.
He reset the etisalat box for the service to eork again and CHARGED ME with 150 AED + VAT claiming that the issue is from my side.
2- another time, I faced downtime in internet. The same procedure: the tech visits me and charged me 150AED + VAT claiming the issue from my side and resolved it by moving the internet cable from socket A to socket B.
The SCAM here is that another month later the internet failed again and the resolution was by moving the plug from socket B back to socket A.
I was charged 150AED + VAT twice for these 2 contradicting SCAM events.
3- the latest one was when I requested adding additional TV receiver in my house. They charged me with additional 150AED + VAT to fix the service in addition to the monthly regular charges on the service. But the SCAM here is that the tech did not fix the TV receiver properly. When I raised a complaint to come fix it properly by placing the TV line box next to the TV, he asked me for additional charges for the cable (around 2m). When I mentioned my right for not paying the additional charges as the customer service confirmed, he left the house closing the ticket by doing nothing and CHARGING me another 150 AED + VAT claiming that the issue was not from my side!

Etisalat is a terrible company. It doesn't give a dam for its cutomers. When you call in you get a stupid robot and end up wasting a lot of time inputting numbers. When I turn on my TV I got; "No signal. Check th extrnal input or select another input usin gthe INPUT button". Of course they don't explain where the INPUT button is. I already paid for the service and can't a simple TV program.

Etisalat is probably one of the most dumbest company I’ve come across. I renewed my contract on the 26th of march and I didn’t get no data so I was paying extra for data and I called up the customer service saying where’s my data and they said you will get 25gb for 500 AED or whatever the price was so I told him to subscribe me and I only got 3.2gb and my 50gb will come 1st of every month. Lol I asked him do you think this make sense and he was confused himself. Even on the app you pay for 25gb you only get 3gb. Whoever designed this system needs to get replaced. Whoever is in charge you can have a call with me and I can help you guys to make the simple things less confusing and it will make more sense. If this don’t change, I promise you, your sales team won’t make any commission and they will probably go to DU.
I can see why on trust pilot they have 96% bad reviews.
Pathetic experience with etisalat
First of all their house moving internet option is not working in the app , i went to the business center to initiate the request that i will be moving out to new place and i gave them the dates , one of the customer service called me after 2 days to fix the appointment for the technician to your new place and right after that they cut off my internet connection without informing me from my old place , i called them so many times but every time some their agents said it’ll be restored in few minutes and later on they stopped picking the call and their automated service is even more worse , if the case is open and pending from customer service they’ll not allow you to connect with any advisor to take update .
More pathetic thing is the communication gap between the advisors some of them said it shouldn’t be disconnected unless you move out and some said that it gets disconnected once u initiate the request . Over all worst experience will not recommend it to anybody . Better to go for Du internet or virgin .

Etisalat MCC - Great!
I went with a friend to Etisalat Mirdif City Center to solve an issue with her mobile number. She was unable to retrieve her canceled number and get a replacement. We stayed there for about an hour because there was an issue with IT. Thanks to Tyron and Mohammed the issue was solved. We've received great service overall and would recommend visiting this branch to get your issues solved in the best way possible.
