Ordered using their size chart which turned out very inaccurate. The return costs are very high $40AUD plus $15, so buyer beware. The dress I received was nice and seemed good quality although the col... Mehr ansehen

Elle Melbourne is a total scam
This is a total scam. Don’t purchase from them!! Items on the website look so much different from what you actually get!!! Took 3 weeks and lots of follow up as well. They pretend to have a store in Melbourne but it’s shipped from China. When I wanted to return it i was told i had to post it to the original address which will include additional handling charges also!!!!
AVOID ALL LIES , SCAM
They advertise that they are in Melbourne with a Melbourne address however they are in China. Once the order finally arrives it's the wrong colour, fabric and size and they say money back however this isn't true. They offer 20% refund, the government should protect us from these scam artist
Any good review about this organisation…
Any good review about this organisation has to be false! the quality of the clothes, sent from China! are terrible! there is no poor family closing down their beloved shop! And... when you finally realise that you have been taking for a big idiot and want to send the crap back... guess what... it has to go back to China at the purchasers expense and then they charge handling per item. It is so bad, it is almost funny! STAY AWAY. If I could give no start I would!
if there was no stars this would be…
if there was no stars this would be ticked

very poor sewing
not true to size
Rubbish quality
I wish I had read these reviews before I bought from "Elle Melbourne" - completely rubbish quality, the fabric is awful,I bought a top 100%cotton ,received 95% polyester and 5% spandex, dress is layered but still see through, shoes plastic ,horrible quality.this can not be Aussie company ,miss-leading ,dishonest ,descriptions and photos do not match .BE AWARE DO NOT BUY!!!!!
Another china based rip off
Another china based rip off. Pretends to be Australian. Shoes undersized and plastic - only vaguely resemble the picture. Orthotic support it said - hilarious!! Do not buy.
They are terrible
They are terrible! The dresses are made in china, cheap and I will donate to charity before even trying on. Stay clear and save your money!
Misleading
Misleading! They are based in China and NOT Melbourne. Everything is shipped from China and returns are at buyers expense back to China - cost me $50 to return. Still waiting for them to send me new size or a refund
False advertising SCAM
False advertising SCAM
Says they're a company based in Melbourne. I ordered 'leather' shoes. They arrived packed in Temu style packaging, from a company called Yanwen.
The shoes are synthetic vinyl crap, thin, hard soles and not at all appearing as advertised pictures.
STAY AWAY!

Pretends to be an Aussie company
Pretends to be an Aussie company, closing down blah blah, but is a SCAM. Shoes purchased eventually arrived - sort of looked like picture, but were nowhere near expected size, poorly made and smelt like a glue factory.
Contacted for refund/return, but then got long-winded e-mail where I could fill out loads of paperwork, pay a processing fee, pay for postage to China and cover customs costs etc etc, or I could keep inferior product and get 20% refund if I gave them my bank details.
This company is a total scam
This company is a total scam. While I did eventually receive my 2 garments they certainly did not resemble those that I had ordered. The quality resembled that of a dish cloth! The return policy is way too expensive and complicated to even attempt. They operate under several other names and are not based in Australia.
Dodgy and poor quality
Dodgy, poor quality, false advertising - not in Melbourne as their website indicates
I wish I had read these reviews before…
I wish I had read these reviews before I bought from "Elle Melbourne" - completely rubbish quality, the fabric is awful. The returns policy is ridiculous. Do not buy from them.
I wish I could give less than 1 star. I will never buy from a website again that I do not already know.
Poor quality products
Poor quality products, looks like it’s been worn already and they took out the correct tag sizing. Return site is based in China and they charge $40 per item return and shipping cost. Stay away from Elle Melbourne!!!!
Don’t use these guys
I’ve made contact regarding a error made by the company-wrong shoe size sent
Difficult
Expensive even when not customer fault
Don’t use these guys
The fine details for this company and its policies are well hidden
Melbourne may be the address but the returns ,at the customer’s expense is China and with the purchases the costs if returns $40 Australian with a pending refund that withholds $15 for processing exceeds the costs if the goods
Again this is Elle company error
Scam
Sizing off scale
Hiya
I received my boats i mean clogs today.
So disappointing there sizing scale is totally off point. Im normally a size 9 but with there sizing including me measuring my feet said they were a 11 which is far from the truth.
Ive had nothing but trouble with this company on communication, they fail to talk via phone. Then email is also appaling with a pc response.
They need to be bought forward of accountability before they close.
Clothing sizes are just as bad.
I swear with there handlings they are scammer, they need to be stopped before they apply for bankrupcy, elle melbourne needs to show up
SCAM SCAM SCAM
SCAM SCAM SCAM
I received delivery of my order today and the clothing quality is inferior and does not resemble what is advertised on the website.
DO not order the items following:
Harmony | Stylish Double-Breasted Wool Coat which I ordered in size M is a child-sized, horrible nylon fabric which doesnt even resemble the photos advertised.
Margaux ™ | Soft Cotton Graphic Tee with Print, this was advertised as cotton and the shirt I received is a cheap, poor quality nylon with poor stitching.
Emilia™ | Chic Relaxed-Fit Sweater - is again poor quality which does not at all resemble the soft looking sweater advertised. It is actually a 'mock shirt' or 2-in-1 sweater, with fake shirt colour and sleeves. Again not what is advertised.
I am writing email to Elle Melbourne for a refund. But not expecting one as it appears to be a fake company.
I will be reporting them on every platform possible
Buyers Beware!
This is a SCAM
This is a SCAM. Just spoke to ACCC and nothing we can do. They are not a Melbourne Company but an overseas one and our laws cannot be enforced on them. And theres a lot of them! Only avenue is to raise it with your MP and send letters to newspapers to highlight how many of these companies are ripping off Australians. mention your Elle experience (this company also goes by many other names too such as Lily Melbourne, Aura Straya, Lauren-Adelaide, Ardor Sydney, Smith Sydney, Mills Melbourne and more.) No phone number. No way to cancel. Returns cost more than some items. Total rip off
Elle ( supposedly in Melbourne) is…
Elle ( supposedly in Melbourne) is dangerous scam. I returned a couple of pairs of very dodgy thin, almost material, poorly made sneakers to the given address in China. Parcel was returned immediately after reaching China. I followed all the instructions and paid over $50 postage. The parcel was in same condition as when I sent it. No accompanying message. Yes another dodgy Chinese company.
