Elitax provided useful ongoing advice for myself, as a foreigner, while preparing my taxes in France.

I’ve been dealing with Elitax for three years. They have not only managed my French tax affairs but, since I am a UK national, and permanent resident in France, they also managed the process to help me to disengage from the UK tax system. I’ve found Elitax to be not only professional and efficient but also friendly and very easy to deal with. During the time I’ve been dealing with Elitax, I’ve always had the same person dealing with my tax affairs. This has been very important for me. Dealing with the same person the whole time makes it feel like one is getting a personal service rather than being just another client. I can only recommend their services, we had a call with Irma somewhere around October 2022. Irma was knowledgable about the particularities of our situation which involved an employee working for an international organisation which is exempted from French taxes. She additionally advised us how the tax would change depending on our martial status and we learned about the details of exit taxes and taxes on capital gains in France. She was very attentive and has always followed up with us in due time.

The ILL has worked with Elitax for several years and appreciate the content of the tax seminars it has given for our international employees. The content is thorough and reliable and achieves the goal of providing them with the information they need to make their French tax declaration. Elitax could improve by offering more support during the orgnanisation of the seminar and the delivery. Responses to our questions were slow during the planning phase of the event, and there were some technical issues the day of the event that could have been avoided with more adequate technical support. Although our committee decided to try a more local service provider this year, we appreciate the Elitax's expertise and service, and would consider working with it again in the future.

Second time edited: Since I told Elitax about the mistake in my taxes declaration, I’m gettin ghosted. I told Elitax that I don’t want to work with them anymore and asked them to delete my information and my Elitax account, but they even refuse to do this. Absolute scam.

Edited: After my first taxes turnover with Elitax, I feel like I have to change my review a bit. In the beginning I felt very supported and good taken care of, but when it got close to the deadline of the turnover, it was pure stress. My turnover was done 2 days before the deadline, there was very few communication and so on. Well, I could've accepted that, but then it turned out a month after the turnover was sent, that Elitax made a mistake in it. And not a small one. When I contacted my consultant because of it, they didn't do anything about fixing the issue. So I'll end working with Elitax and let another taxes bureau take care of what was done wrong. I'm very disappointed and hope that other people will have better experiences.

Original: I started working with Elitax, because I wasn’t happy anymore with my former taxes consultant. Unlike many other companies I requested, they replied fast to my email and offered me instantly a call to get to know each other. My consultant Irma was very nice and answered all my questions. My first taxes turnover isn’t finished yet, but I’m really happy so far. The prices are reasonable, and the people there are very nice. Still the communication is not as smooth as it should be at some times. Overall I recommend Elitax and look forward to work with them in the future!

Last year, I utilized Elitax for my tax needs. Being new to France, I had limited knowledge of the process of filing taxes. However, Elitax made the process clear and straightforward, providing me with all the necessary information. I also had a personal consultation with them, which was extremely useful and informative. I would highly recommend their service to anyone with questions concerning filing taxes.

We have used Elitax for submitting the French Tax returns over several years. It is a well organized company who really do know what the client needs are and provides the services deligently with skill, expertise in a timely manner.

I now have a tax preparer where I live in Nice. He asked me why I didn't want to use Elitax anymore. I told him I thought Elitax was overpriced for my taxes, which are not complicated. I spent more time scanning documents to you to send documents and trying to figure out changes to the Elitax system, which seem to change ever year. I will pay about one-half the fee this year(663 euros) and one fifth the time.

Friendly, professional advice, especially for an international in France

Easy to understand, very useful and lots of information.

I am using Elitax from 2019 to do my tax declaration. I am a retired international staff member of a major international company and have assets in 3 countries. I am very happy with Elitax, as they are very knowlegable about international tax regulations, very attentive and friendly. All their tax calculations were timely and correct as confirmed by the French tax office. The only negative comment is that for a retired private person, the fees are a bit on the high side.
