I bought a blender that stopped working after a few months. I was told to send it in for repair, and they claimed that it worked and I was billed. But it still didn't work. I did exactly the same as I did when it worked. I sent it back, but only got an extra bill. So bad products, Or so difficult to work that none of my friends managed to make it work. Never more Electrolux for me. Even the cheap brands have better service!

Part 1 – Initial Booking (February 2026)
8 February: Attempted to book service online (system unavailable); sent email request instead regarding i30 pump error
No response received to email
18 February: Follow-up phone call required to book service
Advised a two-week wait for attendance and that the unit was under warranty
Part 2 – Service Call (3 March 2026)
Technician advised the unit had no power and conducted only a brief inspection
Claimed the control board was likely damaged (possibly due to cockroaches) and not worth repairing
Advised the unit was not under warranty and quoted over $1,000 for repair
I was charged a $185 service fee
Following the visit, I discovered the dishwasher had simply been left unplugged. Once correctly plugged in, the unit had power and continued to display the original i30 error. This strongly suggests the technician’s assessment was incorrect.
Additionally: I did not observe the unit being opened or inspected internally
I was not shown any alleged damage
I have concerns regarding the validity of the photos later referenced
Part 3 – Escalation and Collection (March 2026)
7 March: Reported the issue via email and phone
Advised the unit should have been covered under warranty and that the service fee may have been incorrectly charged
Despite this, the technician’s report was upheld without providing supporting evidence
Agreed to workshop assessment at no additional cost
17 March: Unit collected; power was demonstrated at time of collection and noted
Part 4 – Lack of Follow-Up (April 2026)
31 March: Requested update
1 April: Advised inquiry sent to workshop
9 April: No update received

Bought a microwave that didn’t work. No issues at this point - we understand things happen. But their effort to fix the situation was horrible. Took 3+ weeks to get service with new part. When they arrived, they brought wrong part. When talking to customer service they did not do anything to help expedite the situation. So long story short- bought a broken microwave and after 1 month, our microwave still hasn’t been fixed. We ended up buying another as we don’t trust their process and ability to service their customers anymore. Which seems to be a consistent issues from other reviews.

We contacted Electrolux for a refrigerator repair. The refrigerator warranty had expired a couple months earlier, so we had to pay a guaranteed fixed price of $350. We were told that tha amount would guarantee the repair and that there would be no additional charges. They contracted with Tradewinds Out of Manti Ut. The problem that we were having is no water out and no ice. The repairman Andrew first called and said he wasn’t wasting his time coming to look at it and just ordered parts … so just showed up with parts and did no troubleshooting and replaced the ice maker. He told us that the line to the ice and water was frozen and we would need to unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours to allow the line to thaw. We did this and still there was no water or ice. When we pulled the refrigerator out from the wall to plug it back in we found that the repairman had broken the handle completely from the wall and we could no longer turn the water on or off. We contacted a plumber to repair it which cost an additional $250 to do the repair. The plumber told us that the pressure coming from the wall was correct. We still have no water and no ice. We called the repairman that had attempted to repair the ice and water several times, leaving messages each time that we’ve called. It’s now been approximately 1 month with no return call from the repairman so we called Electrolux. Electrolux told us that we had sand in the line and now they will not repair the refrigerator. They offered to give us a partial refund. Apparently we still need to pay the repairman $120 for not repairing the original problem and breaking the water valve which cost us an additional $250. Now we’re into their garanteed repair $600, and the refrigerator still doesn’t work. They provide very poor customer service. Also the fridge is only 16 months old. My advice would be AVOID THIS PRODUCT MANUFACTURER AT ALL COST!
Bought a new 1 piece stack…
Bought a new 1 piece stack washer/dryer. First thing went wrong was the washer would not work, just displayed an error code. Called Electrolux for warranty, 2 weeks later they sent a repairman, he looked at it and said he had to order a new door lock assy. Well, 3 weeks later he came back and said it would be $93 to fix it, I said no it is under warranty. He went ahead and fixed it. Now the dryer is making a loud noise and won't work. Called and a repairman came a week later, looked at it and said it needed a new belt to make it work. 2 weeks later he returned with the same repairman that was here the first time. They tore the dryer all apart and then said it would be $180 to put it back together. I said no and he said they would not fix it. They then threw all of the screws and brackets in the drum and left. I called Electrolux and they said it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. They said they needed a copy of the original receipt first. I sent that and they told me it would be 7 to 10 days to replace it. It has been over a month now and they said that it is still under review and they will let me know this week. When I call customer support they said nothing they can do about it and I have to wait. Wish we had never bought Electrolux

Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life regarding appliances.
DO NOT buy Frigidaire or Electrolux!!
I have been promised by Electrolux for TWO months now that I am getting a replacement dishwasher after my new dishwasher of under a year old, the motor fried.
I took off a day with unpaid leave at work to wait for an appliance I was promised would be delivered and they lied.
I am still waiting on a dishwasher and they will just say there’s no one in the Escalation Department, that they don’t have a manager I can speak with, that there’s no one else I can contact except a person via email, but I cannot contact them in person. They lie about everything.

Today, I had this appointment scheduled because no one appeared in the previous one. I didn't leave home just waiting of course from 7am to 5pm while needed to go to the doctor and didn't just waiting, and guess what, they rescheduled to another day without messaging or notifications, I knew because I called them at 5pm.
Avoid this company
Ordered a part, they cashed my check and 7 weeks after the order I still never received the part.Bank gave me their number to call but after 10 attempts the line rang but then went dead. Avoid this company.
HORRENDOUS COMPANY
No surprise you have a horrendous rating! Horrific so called "service" all round. Almost a full year trying to get a simple issue resolved. Dishwasher arrived dented. 5 Replacement doors showed up at the repair company.....all dented (wtf). The last time the repair people took a ferry to get here with an apparent replacement door. I was thinking, finally, after 6 months! But NO. Once the box was opened, that door was also dented. Again, wtf. So out of shear exasperation and months and months of waiting and waiting and emails and phone calls, I said forget it, just compensate me and I will keep the original dented door d/w. Pretty bad to have to do that but was very clear it was not going to get resolved, ever. I called the "customer service" number and then got an email asking for the receipt and that I would get 10% back. Oh hell NO!!! What a total insult after months and months of hell with this company. They came back with 20% and even though that's also an insult, I just want this Electrolux nightmare over. So I get an email asking for the receipt and they would send me a "DIGITAL" card for deposit into my account....within 48 hours. But of course, a MONTH later still NOTHING! So I email yet again and another rep sends me an email asking for my physical address to mail a "PHYSICAL" card to me. Are you frigging kidding me???!!! What kind of "business" is this??!! So I call.....AGAIN......and was told that it will be a physical card mailed to me within two to three weeks. Let's face it. Nothing is going to happen as this company is nothing short of a huge S Show. If it does happen I think I will fall down and die from shock. Terrible Terrible Horrendous company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.....They also own Frigidaire and other companies. Choose a different product. If there is anything wrong, you are in for at least a year or more of nightmares. I will NEVER.....EVER.....buy any product under the umbrella of "Electrolux" again.

I rarely leave long reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared so other customers know what they may encounter.
Our issues began with the original refrigerator, which required repair. We scheduled service appointments, but the company canceled three repair appointments without notifying us. After repeatedly waiting at home for technicians who never arrived, we were eventually told the refrigerator could not be repaired.
A replacement was then arranged, and the delivery problems began.
Delivery attempt #1: The refrigerator arrived without the required pairing kit, making installation impossible.
Delivery attempt #2: The refrigerator arrived scratched and visibly damaged. The damage should have been identified during quality inspection, yet the unit was packaged and delivered in that condition. See pictures!
At that point, a manager named Mary M assured us she would personally monitor the order to ensure there would be no further issues. Unfortunately, not only did the issues continue, but not once did she follow up to provide updates or demonstrate the level of customer service that had been promised.
Delivery attempt #3: The wrong refrigerator model was delivered. The model number on the invoice did not match the model number on the refrigerator itself.
Throughout this process, we lost multiple days sitting at home waiting for repair appointments or deliveries that either never happened or resulted in units that could not be installed.
To make matters worse, the 10% refund that was offered was initially issued incorrectly, which required additional follow-up to have it corrected.
After all of these issues and repeated quality control failures, the situation was finally resolved this past Friday -after 3 months without a refrigerator-when the correct refrigerator was delivered and installed. Once again no follow-up or follow through from Mary! Terrible customer service!
While I appreciate that the matter was eventually resolved, the overall experience was extremely frustrating and time-consuming. Better communication, quality control, accountability, and respect for customers’ time would have prevented most of these issues. Never again will I purchase anything from them!
Electrolux is the worst company…
Electrolux is the worst company you could ever deal with. They will not stand behind their warranties they just continue to give you the runaround until you cave months later and buy new. I will NEVER have anything from this company in my home again. I turned them into the BBB and the FTC.
Horrible customer service
I purchased a front load Electrolux washer less than 3 years ago. About a month ago the washer started making horrible noises when spinning. I called a repairman who said I needed an entire new drum which would cost $900 to fix. I called Electrolux who talked me into purchasing a $340 extended warranty which they said would cover any repairs. The customer service rep knew what repair I needed. Their service techs came and said they could fix it but it would be a two man job and they would be back in two weeks. Two weeks went by with no response so I called the repair peope and they said Electrolux had not approved a two man repair team. I called Electrolux and they said the warranty did not cover a two man repair team and that I would have to pay extra for that. I told them to cancel my order and that it wasn't worth all that money to repair a machine that should have lasted longer than 3 years. They said they would have to deduct $125 from the $340 I paid, for the service visit. No amount of beseaching on my part to make an exception since no one told me there was a one man limit on the warranty, worked. They said "there is nothing we can do".
Do not buy an Electrolux product. Their product and customer service is horrible.
Vacuum Cleaner - EFP61714 (Superb Bad review)
The nozzle breaks after less than 6 month usage, there is no warranty to the nozzle. The nozzle cost $129/- (Not including transport to their service center and back) while i bought the vacuum cleaner at $354/-.
I felt scam by Electrolux who incept us with high quality branding, but put us is such a monetary dilemma.
Please think Thrice!!!

Purchased new washer model ELFW7637AT Feb 26/2026 2 days old , mother board fried, motor control gone and motor gone. 3 major issues. Electrolux no replacement. Parts another week. Customer service no help. Refuse replacement
HORRIBLE COMPANY!
Ordered a washer and dryer. After having a horrible over the phone customer experience with ordering the washer and dryer, I was hoping for better the second time. I called them because I am two days out from my delivery date for the appliances and I haven’t heard anything via text, call, or email. When I logged into the site and checked my order both the washer and the dryer were canceled. I had not received an email, phone call, or text message notification that they had canceled my order at any time. I was connected with a customer service representative right away. I gave them both order numbers and was put on hold. After 15 minutes of the phone call the customer service representative came back online to ask me what was it that I needed with these orders. To which I said as I had asked you, I’m looking to find out if they are for sure canceled and if they are canceled, why since I’ve not received any information at all. I’m done on hold for another 10 minutes or so at the end of this conversation which at this point is over 28 minutes she gives me two new confirmation numbers and said that they are supposed to be delivered in two days. When I log into the site and input those confirmation numbers, they are invalid and I now see my credit card has been refunded. This is an absolute nightmare. As a mom with a full house of kids that I need to keep up with laundry, I would never use this company again.
Rip Off service call !
Rip Off service call !! the call centre incorrectly charged me $299 -- it failed to offer the callout+parts fee ($165+parts)..for my simple repair job. A request for an $84 partial refund has been refused. the technician was fantastic and arrived on time and completed my simple repair promptly -- The contact centre are a rip off -- Don't book by phone!!

Never buy any IKEA or Electrolux appliance! Currently about to go through QCAT.
Bought an Ikea cooktop which stopped working in October. Every appointment, the Electrolux technician cancels on the day of the appointment. 6 cancelled appointements so far. He attended 1 and couldn't fix it. I suspect the tech who services this area sees the job in the morning and cancels it. He told me that his job is safe as Electrolux don't have enough technicians.
Worst customer service. If you have a warranty issue, good luck.
By far the worst customer service experience I have ever had.
In a nutshell:
- It took Electrolux 7 MONTHS to resolve a faulty induction cooktop for a Westinghouse freestanding oven that was not working on delivery.
- Despite our electrician and the first Electrolux service agent saying it was a circuitboard issue, Electrolux claimed it was because our kitchen wiring wasn't big enough, forcing us to rewire our kitchen just to prove it was NOT the cause of the issue (cost $2000).
- After finally accepting the second service agent's report that it was a circuitboard issue, Electrolux told us the new oven was "on its way" or "in the distribution centre to be delivered to us within weeks" for 4 MONTHS.
- After our issue was 'escalated' (which means virtually nothing), and I was told for the umpteenth time that our oven was "in the warehouse", the guy sheepishly told me that the oven was actually always on back order and was never in stock, let alone, "in the warehouse". It would not be available for another 6 weeks.
- I was finally able to secure a new oven from somewhere in the murky Electrolux logistic system through our third Electrolux service agent (a third party operator) who was able to secure one through their own contacts at the Distribution Centre.
- I must have spoken to at least 20 different Electrolux 'customer service' agents. Each one promised so much but just fobbed me off or told me what I wanted to hear (the oven is on its way).
- The system is set up to frustrate the customer. There is no 'manager' you can speak to, there is no way of appealing a rejected warranty claim, when they take your details and promise to "get back to you within 48 hours" they don't get back to you at all. This happened to me at least 5 times.
- I asked for compensation for the time, grief and expense I endured but the 'escalation' person couldn't offer me anything except their apologies, which means very little when you've not had a functioning cooktop for 7 months and you've been forced to spend $2000 rewiring your kitchen so you don't have to spend $4000 on another oven.
If your Westinghouse/Electrolux product works, good for you, I hope you enjoy it. But if it doesn't work you've got a very frustrating struggle ahead.
