I initially interviewed with Maddie, and she has been an absolute star, from the interview until I got hired with my new school! Becca, the amazing agent who found my new school has also been a gem and I couldn’t have done it without them and their support throughout. Thank you both and to EdEx❤️

My colleague referred me to Edex after she got her ECT role through them. I signed up and got a call the same day. The process was quick and easy. I was looking for an ECT role in London. I worked with Alex and Ryan and they were brilliant. Edex work with many schools and have good relationships with headteachers, so after onboarding I was very quickly set up with interviews. Ryan helped me prepare, and gave me tips on points to talk about and the interview style. I was really grateful for this because it boosted my confidence and settled my nerves. After every interview I got a check up call and confirmation of next steps. As well as feedback (which was very important to me). Overall 10/10 agency, I was very happy with them and I got my Job.

I used EdEx recently while looking for a new school role. I was working with Alex and Holly who were truly fantastic. They took my requests seriously and made sure they looked for roles that were of interest to me. Once I got offered an interview, they provided a lot of preparation which really helped on the day. I could not fault the recruitment process I went through with Ed Ex. I initially reached out the Ed Ex on LinkedIn and very promptly got a response. Within the same day I had a call with Becca, who was very personable yet professional. She went out of her way to find out everything she could about me personally and professionally to ensure that the jobs she offered me were 100% suited to my needs. She also gave me lots of insight and advice into London schools as I am relocating. Due to my preferred location I was then put in touch with Joe and George, who both provided me with a range of job opportunities. Each time they provided me with a wealth of knowledge about the school and top tips for interview. Since being successful in securing a role Joe has been super at communicating with me and ensuring that I am up to date with everything. Very Unprofessional, with a serious lack of communication

I was happy to get in touch with James and later Ryan who were very responsive and communicative. James promptly called me after I sent him my CV and excitedly told me how I was a fabulous candidate for a school that was looking for a teacher ASAP. He sent me details of a school within minutes and I emailed him back expressing my interest.

At this point, we exchanged multiple emails within a day or two and he was very responsive. However, here is when things start to take a turn. A week passed by and I got no reply from James. I go on and write a follow-up email, which also gets ignored. A couple of weeks later, he replied apologising for the delay and told me that the role starts in September 2024 instead of immediately, and asked if I were still interested. Since I was still looking for that role, I emailed him back that I was interested. Usually, I disengage with agencies with unprofessional communication, but I gave James the benefit of the doubt. However, he goes on to ignore my email again. I wrote him another email after a week but I haven't heard back from him to date.

I wish they were professional about their communication and did not spam job boards with EdEx, allowing more legitimate vacancies to be showcased.

I would avoid getting involved with them ever again.

From the very beginning the whole team have been incredibly supportive every step of the way. Charlie and Holly were both extremely helpful in getting me placed somewhere very quickly and consistently kept up communication with me to ensure I was happy and felt supported. So pleased with how smoothly everything went!

Charlie and George were incredibly personable and professional. They really listened to my specific needs which is what made me choose to move forward with EdEx rather than other agencies. They've both checked in with me since I was placed in a really lovely school and I feel very supported.

I was fortunate to have Becca Kenny as my agent when seeking a teaching assistant role. She was wonderfully personable and truly elevated my confidence as a newbie in the education world. Really glad I had Maddie as an agent! She was really helpful and worked really hard to find me a job. Josh was helpful too and Ryan pushed it through and secured me a job! I joined with Edex in Feb 24 and secured my role in April 24. It does take some time but that is also because schools aren’t as responsive over half terms and Easter holidays. Overall, really happy with the level of communication and experience!

Josh and Ryan were excellent. Hiring from overseas is always a little trickier and yet they were able to introduce me to schools within specific areas of London that fit the brief well.

With great communication every step of the way, I've secured a permanent role for September.
