My son saved up to buy a badminton racket that was a better quality from his previous ones. He was really pleased with the wide choice available and it arrived promptly. The racket suits him really well (He had it strung to his requirements) and is a great step up from the one he had.

Excellent prices and very good and quick delivery. Great that delivery by Royal Mail is an option.

Direct Badminton provided an excellent Online Service. The Badminton Shoes purchased are good value for money and delivery time was also very good.

Yonex Astrox 99 Play 4U5 Badminton Racket (White Tiger) £ 67.95

Yonex Astrox 88 Play 4U5 Badminton Racket (Black-Silver) £66.95

The former racket’s strings broke within 5 days of light use - I contacted customer service as “all their rackets have a 12 month warranty” but they clearly don’t stand by this as they want me to post it back at my own cost which Royal Mail have quoted £13.79 for, and Direct Badminton will only refund £3.99 postage costs.

Plus, once I send it back, they will take up to 21 days to assess whether their warranty covers this issue of broken strings.

Will definitely not be buying from this company again.

Want to buy something badminton related - Direct Sports is my second port of call. They may not be linked with BE anymore, but their prices are still cheaper than the company that is linked with BE even with their 5% discount!! 😂

Just wish returns were free like most places!

Everything went well but my racket was received hanging out of the box (handle first) no bubble rap or anything similar to protect it. A bit more tap on the box and the handle wouldn't of come out the corner. That is the only bad thing to say, the postage was on time and the racket is amazing! thank you.

Very disappointing experience — unexpected customs charges were not clearly communicated, my parcel was returned without delivery, and I was left waiting with no proper resolution.
The same product was previously ordered in a smaller quantity and was delivered without any additional charges. I was also receiving the same product from a different vendor without any extra charges. However, this was my mistake, as they did not have stock available, and I had to rely on Direct Sports this time.

Total shambles! Initial order arrived quickly but unfortunately shoes were too small so I arranged an exchange immediately and posted back. They took ages to confirm receipt of my return even though I could see from
Royal Mail tracking it had reached them. Then apparently dispatched me a new pair but these never got past the “we’re awaiting your parcel” stage witj Royal Mail suggesting they were never actually sent! Made me wait a full 10 working days before they would do anything about it “in case there was a delay at Royal Mail”. Poor service throughout and a complete waste of time ordering from this company. I finally got a refund on 18/02 for something I ordered on 21/01. Nearly a month and I’ve still now got to go and buy shoes elsewhere!!!

Purchased the Yonex Astrox 99 Play 4u5 - excellent service and speedy delivery. Wasn't fully aware of the tension that would suit my game but found loads of info to inform my choice. Got the frame restrung with the recommended strings and they work a treat. Have used Direct Badminton for a couple years and will continue to do so.

I ordered a pair of Yonex badminton shoes. Unfortunately they were too small. The bigger size was not in stock. I phoned and was able to send the Yonex ones back and exchange for a pair of Babolat shoes. They were also too small, but I was able to exchange for a larger size. There was no extra charge for the postage as it was an exchange each time. New shoes are really good. Always great service from this company.

I bought a pair of Yonex shoes for a present for my brother, when he tried them on he needed a bigger size, the return process was very easy and the new shoes came promptly, I will be using Direct Badminton again

My parcel was marked as delivered, but the delivery photo shows it left unattended outside in an unsecured location. I did not authorise a safe-place delivery and was at work at the time.

Despite raising this promptly, I have now been waiting over three weeks with no resolution. I have been repeatedly asked to wait for the courier to investigate, with no refund, replacement, or clear timeline provided.

Responsibility has been implied to rest with me for not selecting optional delivery alternatives. These are not mandatory, and under consumer law the seller remains responsible until delivery is completed correctly. I am still out of pocket for an item I did not receive and remain awaiting resolution.

Great website and very quick delivery. I did need to exchange one of the items (badminton shoes) for a larger size, but this was a simple process and did not take too long. The website did advise that I should consider ordering a larger size of shoe, but I ignored the advice and ultimately needed an exchange. This was for the Yonex 65 shoe. I am normally a size UK10, but in needed a UK10.5 and they are still a snug fit.
