Wow what service. I placed an order on 15th August 2016, early afternoon. The acknowledgement email I received is timed at 2.56pm.
I knew what I wanted, one item a paint scuttle is large. Imagine my surprise when the posties delivered the parcel at 1pm on the 16th, less than 24 hours from the order being placed.
Not only quick delivery, the items were very well wrapped to provide protection in transit.
Still not impressed - I live in Orkney, islands off the north coast of Scotland. To get mail this far north that quick all parties involved in my transaction had to be on the ball.

Received the Laminating Brushes ordered within 2 days. Great service and the best of quality brushes.

Over the years I have used Sikkens 006 Light Oak translucent varnish whenever I need a good finish and a true shade. Sikkens never disappoints - but it is very pricey! Except at Decorating Direct. Their prices are very competitive and with FREE delivery too!
Twice I have ordered in the last 2 weeks and each time the delivery was made the next morning and I only placed the order around 4.00pm! Just brilliant and the varnish was very securely packaged. Thanks for a First Class Service. I would recommend this company to any and everyone.

Undertaking some wood grain painting (or scumbling) for a canal boat, so needed the specialist paints and varnish. Hard to find else where. Decoratingdirect web site very useful with suggestions to ensure correct compatible base colour, grain colour and varnish. Speedy delivery service - arrived 2 days after ordering even with standard delivery.

I have twice ordered Sikkens from Decorating Direct and on both occasions the price was competitive and the service excellent. Ordered over the weekend, order acknowledged Monday morning, the goods despatched on Monday and arrived on Tuesday. Great service and excellent communications throughout.

I'm a professional decorator and I use decorators direct for all of my sundries and consumables. Much cheaper then Dulux and great products too. My last order was dispatched the same day and at my doorstep the following. Communication is always good too.

Decoratingdirect has been my first choice for all my decorating needs for some years now. Their prices are good and their range of Wooster and Purdy is excellent and they always deliver very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending them for service and value.

This is the first time I was painting/decorating my house myself and as it was for the entire house, I needed a lot of stuff. I stumbled upon this website and in a few minutes I realized that not only did it have ample options for every single item I would ever need for painting/masking, the prices were much cheaper than what I would have paid in popular supply stores. Every tool is available in 'budget', semi-professional and professional ranges.

Delivery: I ordered before the cut off time and got the delivery in two days, everything packed and delivered carefully. As I planned meticulously and ordered everything at once, I am sure I have saved a lot of money as compared to picking up everything from a local supply store.

Website: It is fairly easy to find items, both by categories or by search. You can also leave things added to your shopping list and come back later to finish it.
The only thing I would like to see as an improvement is to be able to save a shopping list, with a username/password, or a permanent link is sent to your email so that you can access and complete your shopping list later from another computer or your phone. But if you use just one computer it shouldn't be a problem.

Needed to buy some wood stain that isn't easily available from the high street so looked on line and found Decorating Direct. After one use I will make them my first port of call for all future needs. Prompt service, packaging more than protected the tin which I was worried about when I ordered.
