I had decided I wanted to use Sikkens Cetol Wood stain on a brand new timber summerhouse. I spoke to AkzoNobel’s help line prior to making any purchases to clarify the products I needed. The range of colours offered by Sikkens is fantastic and therein ‘lies the rub’, I couldn’t find a local supplier stocking the ones I had chosen. Decorating Direct came to the rescue and the only reason I have given them 4* is because I think they are ‘missing a trick’ on their web site by not making the amazing range of colours they stock more obvious to the uninitiated. Once I realised they had everything I wanted, in stock. WOW! The price was right, everything arrived together, promptly and safely packaged. So if you are thinking of using this product Decorating Direct should be your first stop.

Before making internet purchases in this day and age it is always wise to check on the selling company. Whilst I intended to make only a small purchase, under £20, I did just that. Seeing the positive comments, I made my purchase.

Experience starts off with a good web site with cheap prices and is so easy to use.
After order had been placed there was an unavailability problem with one of my items and so straight away I was offered either money back or an alternative product. I chose the alternative product which I received the next day.
I always think that the mark of a good company is how well they deal with a slight problem when it occurs. Decoratingdirect passed this test with flying colours.
