Pharmacy is refusing to issue full order of libre sensors after 5 weeks of waiting, only giving one out at a time, I emailed Dears to complain and got absolutely no response from them. Local pharmacy state they dont have them, which after 5 weeks from ordering them is just not true, but when I tell them I am on the last one they issue one out of thin air. Went to collect today and asked for an ETA on the outstanding sensors and was told they have no idea when they'll be available. Have spoken with my clinic and been told this is a regular complaint for Dears. It's not good enough, they are a dispenserory who are refusing to issue supplies required to control a chronic illness. I will be going elsewhere from now on.

We went to Dears Travel Clinic Dunfermline for advice on our upcoming travel to Nigeria regarding vaccinations and medications recommend for Nigeria. From start to finish we were made very welcome and all options discussed for our 10year old daughter. Kamil the pharmacist and his colleagues made our daughter relaxed, confident and composed for all her vaccinations. He also explained very well the prescribed the amount of malaria medication needed for the full trip, the procedure and dosage for taking before, during and after her trip.
Dears pharmacy have an exemplary employee in Kamil and we cannot praise him and the team highly enough. On our experience I will not hesitate to recommend the Dunfermline Branch for any travel needs and supplies.

My son was quite distressed after losing his inhaler while struggling to breath. We were assisted and had a very concise and friendly consultation with Diane and George being particularly helpful throughout.
I wish all chemists performed to this highly patient focussed standard . Prompt , efficient and genuinely friendly and happy help , would highly recommend!

Local staff are great, friendly and helpful. But recently updated opening hours means anyone working during the week can no longer pick up prescriptions except for a Saturday morning (presumably staff cost cutting).
They used to be open til 6 - now closing at half 5; in the only pharmacy in town leaves anyone working unable to get back in time to pick up prescription medication from the GP linked pharmacy. Important lifeline services like this should be open 8-6 minimum - we aren't all free during the working day. Would've been understandable if they had the automated collection points but this one doesn't.

I was given so much good advice from the pharmacist today 16/06/2026 at around 1.15 pm ,I had went in to collect my prescription tooth paste I had just came from the dentist & was going to buy pain relief but instead he spent time with me advising me , helping me get a better solution , really helpful I was quite impressed by his knowledge , actual genuine care and understanding I will definitely use this pharmacy again …Thank you

Having had major surgery, I depend on a drug that is often in short supply. Rebecca, Chris and the entire team in the St Andrews branch manage this so well for me.
They are all helpful and friendly and this helps when feeling under the weather.

St Andrews branch go above and beyond.All team members are friendly, polite and helpful. Special shout out to pharmacist Chris. He is caring and explains everything so well. Also Yvonne - she is a great communicator and any time I’m in branch she never stops working. As a person with a chronic illness, having a pharmacy team like this makes life a little better.

Excellent service from staff at Mayfield Rd, especially Laura the pharmacist who checked a tick bite, advised me to see my GP and stayed late to issue the resulting prescription, after also spotting that the amount prescribed seemed unusual and contacting my GP surgery to discuss. Many thanks

We visited Dunfermline branch, Kamil was our pharmacist. We had 3 vaccine appointments and were a bit nervous before we started the process but Kamil was nothing short of amazing ! His knowledge is incredible and he was thoughtful and caring throughout the process. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Kamil, he made the whole end to end process a relaxing and easy experience .

Had microsuction to ears on Monday morning 18/05/26. The lady who performed the procedure was very professional and explained everything in advance. Excellent service

Great service at Dears Pharmacy in Dunfermline for a small cryotherapy procedure. Debs was friendly, warm, and explained everything. The lady at reception was also lovely and friendly too. Would highly recommend and will definitely return for any other similar treatments.

My earwax removal appointment at the Kirkcaldy 18 branch was easy to book with plenty of availability. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and completed my appointment quickly whilst clearly explaining every step and providing useful advice.

Get delivery Doctor put a prescription in 8 days ago Phoned and phoned.Now im being told it takes a week.To deliver.This cannot be write.Not the first time Had to phone 111.

Been going to this pharmacy for about 26 years. They are v busy, but the staff are fantastic. Reception staff so friendly and empathic. Great pharmacists and assistants. Totally professional. They all know me and my family and we feel v safe in their hands.
Can't praise them highly enough!

Had an appointment at 15.30 today and took time off work to attend. They had a note of the booking but it hadn’t been properly processed thus I basically wasn’t booked in. They then said let’s see if they could fit me and asked what days I could manage. I asked what you mean you can’t see me now and was told no. I left annoyed at the total lack of customer care. I understand mistakes happen but no effort was taken to see if I could be squeezed in there and then it at least with a small delay. I turned around and left telling them I’ll look somewhere else which I have done successfully. I’ll be changing my prescription for them now as that service has been far from perfect too.

Danielle at Dears on the High Street Dunfermline was very easy to deal with and removed my ear wax painlessly. She gave me very good advice and I would have every confidence to use this service again and recommend it to my friends. Worth every penny of the £55.

I handed my prescription in the day before. I go's to collect them and they couldn't find them. After about 20min a lady from the street came in and said you have given me someone else's tablet's. She was not happy. Then I heard my name getting read out. It was my prescription that had been handed to someone else. After another 10 Min or so the chemist shouted my name. Came up to me ask my address. Gave me the prescription and walked away. I said to him no apology then. He gave me a dirty look and walked away. They are putting peoples life's at risk. This should be a criminal offence.. I don't want to be dragged in to a manslaughter enquiry.
