The solicitor dealing with our sale was excellent dealing with the issues efficiently and professionally. Hence we got through side of the transaction quicker than expected.

From the very start of the house buying process we felt very secure with Cunningtons. They were ever so slightly more expensive than other agencies by a few hundred pounds, but I would pay that again any day. They were always fast to respond, reassure, and guide us. The breakdown on their app helped us see what stage in the process we were at (Was a lot of legal jargon to us as first time buyers) Our solicitor Rachel was always on hand to reply to our questions and explain things in a way we understood. Her professionalism and competance was evident from the start of the process right through to the end. Our exchange happened while she was on annual leave (a locum was covering) and you wouldn't know from our side, it was very smooth. If we need solicitors for conveyancing again, we will likely come back to Cunningtons.

Kate Horsted was wonderful throughout our transaction. She has excellent attention to detail, is very proactive and also calm and reassuring in tense situations. The rest of her team are very efficient too. They are all a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend Kate highly enough.

I used the Chelmsford branch of Cunningtons for the sale of my property. Sarah and her team were professional, very prompt and a very nice bunch of people to work with. I never had to chase once, which is highly unusual in the world of conveyancing. Even when completion was delayed, there was no problem, Sarah just got on and dealt with the situation in a calm, professional way. I would highly recommend them.

This solicitor worked with my buyer and has cost me over £7,000. We had both instructed solicitors and for 2 months up to the point of exchange i.e. spent all the legal fee's, about to sign contracts, they decide to inform the buyer that they are unable to verify their source of funds!!!!!! This resulted in my buyer being pulled. I had to pay £800 just in service pack for my property answering questions about trees, when they had not even completed the due diligence on the buyer!!! My question is how on earth can a solicitor wait until 2 months to then do this? Disgusting. Avoid at all costs unless you have money to burn!

I dealt with Cunningtons when selling my house and from start to finish they were amazing.
I was allocated Mujtaba hameed and Fiona Gallagher to help with my case and they were responsive and helpful whenever a query was raised. Nothing seemed too much for them.
The app is a great idea and is good for you to track daily where your case is heading. I have used solicitors previously and it can get confusing knowing where you are at so this is another great benefit to using Cunningtons!
Mostly want to thank Mujtaba and Fiona for their hard work and help in pushing the sale forward in a really good time frame (under three months) would 100% recommend them and will be using them in the future.

The worst conveyancer i have ever come across. I purchased a property from this firm and they have not retained any money from the seller. The day of the exchange the conveyancer went on holiday, his assistant took care of the final transfer. They missed on collecting service charge for previous year and as a result I am faced with a bill to pay service charge for a year which i was not even there. i would avoid this firm at all cost.

Although it took a year from start to completion we were at all times kept up to date by Tahira with the many changes taking place and she dealt with each challenge in a positive manner.

Our property sale was long and never ending through no fault of Harpreet at Cunningtons. After so many set backs she brought everything to a conclusion to our satisfaction. Recommended.

We dealt with Danielle at Cunningtons over a protracted period after an initial sale fell through. Over that time, I found Danielle warm, friendly, approachable and always on top of our details and importantly, very easy to reach. Amazingly, there was only one occasion when I had to leave a message and she called back as soon as she was able. This level of professionalism and attention to detail is harder to find these days but Danielle and Cunningtons understand that customer service is everything.
We finally completed and moved home recently and the whole experience was made so much easier because we had a super organised professional looking after the complexities of exchange and completion.
Fees are straightforward and reasonable.
