They do not seem to be set up to support not for profit small organisations. I used them to help me process DBS checks which we need for our volunteers. Many did not have both types of photo ID. It has turned into a total nightmare and I have to manually check them all. I could have done that in the first place and saved the money.

I always try to tell you if we need the check completed by a certain date.
Credence is not very proactive at adding notes / updates to the case that I can pick up and follow up on.
If there are no responses to Credence requests, I would like to know so that I can work with the candidate to get the reference completed in the least possible time.

Regarding the Credence platform, it is intuitive, thus easy to navigate. We find the latest DBS-related launch helpful and informative. We suggest improving it further by differentiating ID to three statuses instead of two: ID verification needed (Credence's action), ID verification needed (Client's action) and ID verification completed. It would indicate not only if the action is needed, but also who is responsible for completing it.
