For over five years now, Cobia has been a source of continuous satisfaction for me, thanks to their exceptional support, prompt responses, and expertise. It feels like I get incredible value for what I spend. Their team is always ready to devote time to address my inquiries, offering guidance and assistance through calls or emails, and tailoring their services to suit my requirements, as they did during the COVID pandemic. I am genuinely appreciative of their efforts.

My initial experience with Cobia Accounting exceeded my expectations. They assisted me in filing the capital gains tax for a house sale, and despite my situation likely being minor for them, they treated me as if I were their top priority. I appreciated that my calls were consistently answered in less than three rings. Steve and Pete were incredibly friendly, polite, and patient, communicating clearly and effectively. Delighted with the service received from Cobia. Great availability. Phones answered directly, no frustrating call waiting. You get a dedicated Accountant but they are also backed up by a team when on leave or away. Very knowledgeable and experienced team. Book-keeping service, payroll, personal tax, VAT, CT, all good so far. Responsive and do what they say they are going to do. Very pleased!

I was on a starter package but as my business started to get busier I upgraded to their professional package and was given my own accountant. If I have any questions Jesse is always on the end of the line (or calls me back when he can) and everything runs very smoothly.

Helpful friendly people always easy to contact an solve any questions

I used cobia accounting services for almost a year for my start up and I lost money in 3 different occasion based on their practises.
First, they didn't renew the subscription for two months for the online accounting software that it was a part of my subscription, while after I contacted them they didn't answer for 4 days.
Second, as my accountants, they didn't informed me about important things regarding my self assessment and the deadline, as a result, I got fined by HMRC.
Third, after I decided to terminate this sort of collaboration, I gave them a 30days notice as per contract, however, they still have withdrawn money for two more months.
Overall, an accounting company that I wouldn't recommend to trust.

As a small business owner, the support given by Ian, Saqib and Tanni is first class. When I look at how much they have saved me over the years, in comparison to their modest fees, they have been worth every penny. To anyone considering appointing them as your accountants, I would say to you, the team at Cobia are friendly and easy to work with, and will go over and above what would be expected, in order to deliver for you, the best possible outcome. We moved our business accounting to Cobia after discovering that our previous accountants hadn't been doing what they said they had. Cobia were able to clearly set out how they would go about addressing the issues we knew about, and then very quickly got on top of what was outstanding. They uncovered a lot more that was outstanding and worked tirelessly (and quickly) to get it resolved.

The whole way through, Mandy and her team have gone above and beyond to keep us updated and get things progressed. Because our accounts were in such a state we ended up having to go through an audit with HMRC which Cobia supported us through, even being on call when the inspector was visiting us. The audit was successfully passed very quickly thanks in part to the help provided by Mandy and the team.

On top of all this, they also brought all our personal tax affairs up to date.

We can't recommend them enough - thorough, efficient, and importantly for us - very familiar with the construction industry and the complications that brings.

I am so grateful I found Cobia Accounting. After an initial 5 minutes call with Steve, I was transfered to Tanni who did an exceptional job of dealing with my final accounts and tax submission to Companies House. I left my tax return rather late, but Tanni was able to turn it around in one day so that I could meet the deadline. I will definitely be recommending Cobia Accounting to my friends/colleagues. Having been with Cobia for over 3 years, I have always found them to be very competitively priced, professional and incredibly efficient.
My designated accountant Mohammed Ajmal, has always been there to help and offer assistance.
He has always taken the time to explain things to me and managed my accounts very well to the point I barely have to lift a finger!

In addition, the rest of the team are very friendly and always willing to help if Mohammed is unavailable.
