Classic models arranged a photo shoot for me after a speculative enquiry about senior modelling. I believe modelling should encompass more diverse representation and was very happy to accept. I’m glad I did.
I had a fascinating day which gave me a flavour of what to expect if I pursued this line of work. The team at A photo studio Soho, were skilled and professional and I enjoyed the shoot. At the end of the shoot Sam from classic models explained they are a platform that promotes diverse models to modelling agencies, an agency for agencies, and I was offered an opportunity to buy my portfolio. I chose not to proceed, but thoroughly enjoyed the day. I find myself looking at models in a whole new light now.

Paid for the Platinum package over £2000.
Even though I’ve contacted them by phone and email many times, and always promised someone would come straight back to me . Nothing, zilch Zero 🤷‍♀️
Stay away from this company and do not hand over any money.

Beware – Instagram “Mature Models” Scam

I was contacted by one of sales team after responding to an Instagram ad for mature models. He was very convincing, talking about two big jobs: one for John Lewis’ Valentine promotion and another with P&O cruises. According to him, I’d been shortlisted for both and could potentially earn £4-5k a month working weekends. It all seemed promising, but things took a turn when he mentioned I needed to pay a £50 deposit upfront, refundable upon arrival at a photoshoot.
Alarm bells rang, so I looked up reviews. The good reviews seemed too polished, but after filtering for 1-star reviews, I decided there were too many negatives. When I raised my concerns with the sales guy, he dismissed the bad reviews, claiming they were from people who hadn’t shown up and lost their deposit. He then referred me to Feefo, but again, the 1-star reviews told the same negative points.
When I mentioned this to his manager, she was rude and abruptly hung up on me.
Please don’t be taken in by this company, it appears to be a scam. Read all the reviews and make your own judgement.

Got through, then a follow up with Alex b4 my shoot firming time protocol etc
I changed my initial time from midday to 2pm
Which was agreed ref train and costs.
On arrival at Soho Studio was immediately met by a charming man on his way out who welcomed and relieved me of my suitcase and took me in.

Was introduced to Manon my stylist who was friendly adept with my wardrobe I immediately
Felt relaxed and was with someone i trusted
Had a laugh
She choose my 4 outfits 2 indoor 2 outside then got me into make up which was fun
1st v natural then built up to vamp glamour
Matt was my photographer who again was lovely put me at ease, never having modeled b4
It was challenging, which felt good and actually was fun

I was recently invited by Classic Models for a test photo shoot at A Photo Studio in Soho, and it was an incredible experience. I paid a £50 deposit for the photo shoot, which was promptly refunded after the session.

The studio, located in trendy Soho, is fully equipped for various photography genres, using professional-grade equipment. As a 44-year-old plus-size woman, I was initially nervous, but the team made me feel like a true model.

The studio stylist had an amazing eye for fashion, combining outfits I brought with fantastic props from the studio to create stunning looks. The makeup artist made me look youthful and glamorous, while the photographer brought out the best in me with their professional guidance. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

Classic Models also explained how they could represent me and help with my career growth. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to purchase the photo portfolio on the spot, so they couldn’t proceed with representing me.

Despite this, I’m incredibly grateful to Classic Models for investing their resources in the photo shoot, recognizing my potential, and showing me the opportunities ahead. They gave me a chance to touch the magical world of fashion and modeling, and for that, I will always be thankful. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a modeling career!

Unfortunately I think I’ve fallen into their trap. I was ‘chosen’ for an older model photoshoot etc. I had to pay £75 up front - which was refundable upon my arrival at the shoot. I received a phone call about a week before to advise the make-up artist had been bitten on the face by a dog. We rebooked the shoot. Then unfortunately I was ill so I had to postpone. Since then I have made numerous attempts to contact, left messages, emailed… no response. Then I finally got through on the phone, only to be told they’d phone me back… surprise, surprise no response again. I’ve now today emailed to request a refund of my £75, my email has bounced back - undeliverable. Sent it twice, same. Also cc to info@ classic-models.co.uk which seems to have gone through. Yeah, so they’re still enticing new models…DON’T BE FOOLED. PLEASE REFUND!!!

A member of my family told me about this amazing, too good to be true contact from a modelling agency claiming that she is just the person they needed to model for top brand High Street Shops. I asked to give me 10 minutes to run a back ground check on Queen Classic Models of 10-11 D'Arblay Street and sure enough it turned out to be a photo studio and not a modelling agency at all.

Looked at other reviews, it seems like several people have been fooled into think ing that a simple trip to London would have them working in no time, only for them to start getting suckered out of their money and dreams smashed.

Time and time again it seems that the photo agency claim they had no knowledge of this and small amounts refunded, there does not appear too be any desire too stamp it out though, so my advice is to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I much appreciate the introduction to" a photo studio", and your proffessional approach at guiding me into the route to mature modelling thank you so much. I had a really fun and relaxed day, which I so enjoyed.

I had a fantastic day on my test shoot for Classic models. From the very start the whole team have been so helpful and they have explained everything very clearly.
Olivia has been my contact she conducted the initial interview and then arranged for me to attend the Soho Studio. She has been great at answering all of my questions and replying to my emails very promptly.
Once I receive my photos from the studio I am very confident that Classic models will guide me in the right direction to launch my new career as a mature model.

It was my first time modelling and they made me feel very comfortable.
The photographer was incredibly talented, the makeup artist was excellent, and the fashion artist was phenomenal. She made me look incredible.....The whole team was just amazing.

After showing interest in an add for mature models I received message and a call from Rian at Classic Models. At the time I was unable to access review, but should have listened to the inner voice, too good to be true, so I unfortunately sent £50.to book shoot! I had a bad feeling but Rian was very persuasive and very friendly. I have immediately requested a refund- interestingly the info/reply email is really busy 'we'll get back to you soon.2days' i doubt its real I have also emailed Rian. I expect a refund by return. I have made myself ill over how I've been scammed..
Update, Google check on numbers etc. No good reviews. appointment cancelled, awaiting refund,

Had a fantastic day with classic models traveled to London for photo shoot was made very welcome stylist picked outfits for me very professional make up and hair done photographer put me at ease the whole experience was great paid deposit to make sure I turned up which was refunded to me would like to thank you all for a wonderful day was well worth travelling from Glasgow

I was unable to access these reviews before I unfortunately sent £50. I should have trusted my gut as I had a bad feeling but Jericho was very persuasive and very friendly. I have immediately requested a refund- interestingly the info email is not real and my initial cancellation was undeliverable but I have also emailed Jericho. I expect a refund by return.
