I came across the advert for Classic-Models online and applied. They called back and I had an interview with a gent called Vee. He was very positive and after sending a few selfies was accepted to attend a photo shoot at the studios in Soho. A refundable deposit of £60 was required to assure the appointment was met which I was a little loath to part with fearing a scam. The photo-shoot was arranged and I attended, all very straight forward and I was offered the chance to buy a portfolio for £600 …… your choice.
A couple of days later the deposit was returned in full and I was then contacted by Choicemodelmanagement and asked if I wanted to sign up with them for a one off fee of £180 for possible future work.
All in a very positive experience.

Do not pay them any advance. Nothing will happen except your money gone. Evidence: It was funny when I said to the woman who called me that she had not even seen me sow how did she choose me as one of her top choices. She said we have seen your picture on WhatsApp. My WhatsApp photo is a bird. She then said she has seen it on Facebook. I only have scenes on Facebook, no faces. Can you see what this is lol? Do you need more proof?

Clicked on the Facebook advert.was phoned a few days later by a charming woman called Thery.She had a good script to recite and elaborate,flattering me" you do not sound as if you are your age(me 78 years),you have a wonderful voice"on and on went the wonderful chat and praise,"you will have a great career"" You would work on cruises, are you ever seasick?".I believed her sales spiel and felt that £50 for a future doing work for major companies would be worthwhile.I agreed to pay £50,tried to pay 3 times through my debit card and PAYPAL With great luck the payment would not go ahead.By this time I stupidly said "I will turn up at the Studio with my card or £50 cash"Thery said " I will talk with finance ,no that is not possible" By now I was tired and Thery said "call your bank and i will call you back in an hour.(I had understood to take the various changes of clothing,the need to travel and that I would have large payments for any work I did etc etc.) I spoke to my bank after a long wait,explained what happened and was told that sad obvious phrase "if it sounds to good to be true it is too good to be true" Thery called back in just over an hour suggesting I should try PAYPAL,as I started, the stupidity of my thoughts and actions came to me especially as I could hear a man's voice, in what seemed to be a call centre, having difficulies with payments from someone else.YES the penny dropped and I realised every thing I had been told was "A Confidence Trick" to get money from me for a service which would not aid me in obtaining work with wonderful companies for wonderful fees.

I’d rate this agency on their links to castings. They are a professional team. Very accommodating.

• After expressing an interest in Classic Models .co.uk. and an initial phone call to find out my interests, I booked a Photo Shoot appointment where a fully refundable deposit was taken. This secured A Photo Studio : MUA a Photographer and a Stylist. On arrival we were met by a Classic Model UK representative who put us at ease and explained the process ensuring a friendly professional atmosphere though out my time there. Having never embarked on anything like this before and turning 60 in a few weeks I was feeling a bit apprehensive as to what to expect. However, during the whole experience I was put at ease the hair makeup and especially the photoshoot which was a first for me. It was a really enjoyable exciting and fun day. What I liked was the fact that in our debrief at no point was there a hard sell or any obligation to sign up. Everyone remained professional at all times. It was a most enjoyable fun and exciting experience...who knows what lies around the corner! I would highly recommend Classic Models thank you for investing in ME!

I just clicked on Facebook and then received a call from Vee at Classic Models. She was very informative and friendly. She felt like my best friend.

Vee gave me glowing accounts of what my future could look like and emphasised that they were not an Agency as such but a platform where folios are sent to approved Agencies who are trusted by Classic. Large sums were mentioned, larger than the money I had previously earned earlier in my career.

The shoot was a joy with the styling and make up right up to the mark. Combined, it showed the versatility of the model in different styles, out and about, smart casual and an eye-catching dress. Great advice with photos outside and in, showing facial expressions and poses.

Classic models explained everything to me and organised the photo shoot for me. I turned up and did everything I was asked to do. It was an enjoyable day.
Classic models spook to me after they had looked at my photo shoot pictures and explained the way to go forward in my modelling career. They have help me a lot in the progress into the modelling career process. Thank you very much

Lovely chat on the phone. Handed ver £100 for the hire of the studio...not bothered that I won't get it back. Promised I would view the contract ( did not receive) tried calling to talk to someone...not listed on company house?? Not got a good feeling about this chaotic company...I'm staying well away from this one...and changed my bank details just in case...

A very professional studio with excellent mannerism, photography, and make-up artistry.

The photo studio looks great, the atmosphere is fun, good lighting & music to relax you.

The stylist helped to mix and match what I brought & added to it from their stick clothing.

The photographer was very nice suggesting poses and going on location was a brilliant experience and ment there was a good range of photos at the end.

Great sales techniques, but the person did know their address or their website or the details of where I was going to. Paid my money 💰, but then couldn't retrieve it back.

I had an amazing experience with Classic Models on the 27/01/2025, even though that morning everything else,was going against me. The staff from the receptionist,mua,photographer and the boss were all brilliant and made me feel comfortable and welcome. At the end of the test shoot, i was given a contract, which shocked me as i have no confidence and am no oil painting either. I am so looking forward to the future, working along side Classic Models.

I was given a massively pressured sales pitch! I would just like 2 prints from the November photo shoot I did with you, in return for the £150 deposit I Paid! It’s not much to ask! I do not have the £600 you want me to pay for the folio & you only showed me a couple of photos. If You like I’ll show you proof of my overdraft. I will retract this review when you give me the two photos. It’s no skin off your nose they are only
Digital prints. I came into London to see you, to get prints and was told contact Sarah? Well she did not get back to me!
Please sort this out or I will take this further! Sally

ITS A SCAM !!! KEEP AWAY

I must first cover the positives .
Don’t part with the deposit if you think it’s a scam and you can’t afford to lose it .
I went to the photo shoot thinking if the worst happens I’ve lost my deposit but I may have a fun experience.
That’s exactly what happened !
Shoots down in London so be aware of that ,again good day out !!
I’ve never done anything like this so it was all new and interesting .
Took 7 outfits as asked and the “stylist”picked out 4 .
Not what i would have but there you go .
Hair and makeup was interesting and the photographer and makeup artist were delightful .
Now the negative .
Shown into the assessment room with two members of the Classic Models team who explained the way they work and that they are NOT an agency but a platform referring you to agencies .
Now here comes the hard sell which I can assure you and I tried to assure them I was not aware of .
I received no email with prices and if I had I would not have attended !!
I feel that it should not be necessary to spent a large amount of money for a few photos, perhaps they should put their money where their mouth is and only take money when jobs have been done .
Having looked at the reviews there doesn’t seem to be one that has received any work and many that are convinced this is a scam .
Again a good day but be prepared to stand your ground and not be too flattered . Not I feel an introduction into the modelling world , or maybe it is !!

My entire experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The team was incredibly friendly and professional, guiding me through each step of the process. The photographer was easy to work with, bringing a fun energy that made me feel at ease. Additionally, the makeup and hair stylist did a fantastic job transforming my look for the camera.

Had a lovely experience with this company. They went through the options in simple terms and considered my arrangements professionally.

My experience with Classic Models UK has been outstanding. From my first contact with the talent scouts, through to the booking of my photoshoot and beyond has been "First Class".
I found the staff always very helpful and friendly.

Avoid like the plague.
I too was charmed by their excellent sales tactics. However after signing up and returning home I started to question the credibility of this company.
I messaged to tell them my concerns only to be emailed back that I had signup and no backing out. As a consumer you do have rights that protect you. However I am absolutely appalled how this company Classic Models under the help of a photo studio. Gave still not give me a full refund, they claim to be a legit company so can not understand what the problem is ???? Well it just goes to show my suspicions were correct they are the ultimate scammers.
I even tried to compromise and asked for photos that I have paid for sent to me and that be my settlement however they haven’t even replied oh I wonder why ????
Because they don’t have them
Avoid these vile people and do your research before as no reputable modelling company ask a perspective client to pay any money upfront for alleging portfolio, let alone a fake one
