My Dentist Rick Patel was extremely welcoming and carried out a very comprehensive check of all my teeth condition. Not only current but also considered predictive health. The surgery is full of latest technology aids which identifies potential issues.

Rik is by far and away the friendliest and most helpful dentist I’ve ever come across! He goes out of his way to provide you with the best dental care. He is simply amazing.

Recently required a root canal and new crown, and as someone who doesn't cope well with the dentist experience, I can wholly recommend Rik and The Clarence Dental Practice. One of the easiest experiences I have had assisted by top-notch state of the art equipment and friendly expert service and advice from the team.

I've been going to Clarence Dental Clinic for over 10 years now for regular checks. The service has always been really really good.
Dr Patel makes you feel very comfortable in the chair. They always use the latest technology with 3d teeth scanners, latest xray machines etc.
The works on route canals and crowns that were done 10 years ago are still in top shape.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone!

My son, age 8 was treated amazingly by Rik and the team. We were so pleased with the results to treat my son’s enamel hypoplasia which has made a huge difference to his confidence. It was a friendly, welcoming team. Great practice!

highly skilled with a superb back up team, Rik always impresses with dedicated ,knowledgeable and state of the art treatment

After a lifetime of NHS dentistry (I was nearly 4 before the NHS came into existence) it took Dr Patel over five hours of pains-taking (but painless) dentistry to fix what had not even been looked at during the recent years NHS dental melt-down. The care and expertise were exemplary, my teeth now fit together properly, and I can bite people with confidence

I have been coming here for many years since Rik moved from my old practice - despite it being a bit of a journey! I have always found everyone to be very professional and the service to be excellent. Patients are treated with the utmost respect and consideration and any proposed treatment is discussed thoroughly beforehand. Patients welfare always comes first! I hope I don’t have to move anywhere else!

Great treatment again from the team at Clarence Dental as always.
Rik has been my dentist for a long time now. I used to dread a visit to a dentist until I met him.
Over the years my worries about a dental visit have disappeared.

I had two appointments: one with the hygienist who was so gentle and informative. It was as if my teeth were new and sparkling. Then an appointment with Rick for some dental work and I can honestly say that he, together with the wonderfully caring dental nurse, actually made the experience enjoyable. No pain during the procedure whatsoever, and so skilful. Thank you so much. What a lovely practice this is.

My experience of both my treatment and the service I receive from Clarence Dental Practice has been exemplary. The staff are excellent and Ric in particular is incredibly professional yet personable. I always feel in the safest hands, entirely at ease and know the quality of my treatment will be faultless. He goes above and beyond to ensure I am happy with the results and I trust him completely. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Due to age ☹️, I had to have some composite restoration yesterday to my lower front teeth. This took 2.5 hours altogether, but I have to say both Rik, the dentist, and Jo, his dental nurse, were terrific. It was never going to be painful but it’s a long time to be in the chair. I never felt anxious at all, they were both really kind and concerned for my comfort and wellbeing throughout. And my teeth look and feel sooooo much better, so all in all, I’m more than happy.

I’ve been going to this practice for over 35 years. It was great when I started going and it’s still great now, and I even carried on going when we moved house, with a journey of 45 minutes each way. Well worth the effort to feel in safe hands and cared about.

Having not been to the dentist is way too long, and being very nervous of the process, Rik was patient and explained everything clearly.
He made an initial assesment of set out a clear and affordable treatment plan.
In the chair; I always felt that I was in safe hands and each process was explained rather than having someone root around in my mouth.
I'm super happy with Rik and his team and whilst it's a 45min drive for me, it's one i'll continue to make!
