A truly excellent service from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble for Mark and his team and he was on hand to resolve any queries or issues immediately. Everything was dealt with in the most calm, professional and friendly manner and we were seamlessly guided through all of the necessary documents and paperwork, to ensure that everything was in place before the flight even took off. I felt very safe and reassured that everything had been considered thoroughly in advance and we were offered the highest quality of service and jets for very reasonable prices. It was excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Charter A again or recommend their services to anyone looking for a private jet service.

As always Martin was spot on, especially with the added Covid form filling complications!

When I made the call to Charter-A, it was a mere 2 weeks before my husband’s 40th birthday, as my original ‘surprise’ plans had been scuppered by COVID restrictions.

The second Mark answered the phone, I knew I was in safe hands. Not only did he provide details on helicopter options (my original request) but he also provided private jet alternatives for my budget and because I didn’t quite have an end destination in mind, he provided suggestions on that too, all amazing restaurants or places that we hadn’t been to before but I have now put on our ‘to go to’ list!

Mark was up to date with all COVID restrictions and what and where we could visit within the latest guidelines, this was a huge help in deciding what to do and also prompted me to get my parents over from Spain to join the celebration, which I hadn’t realised was possible.

On listening to me talk about restaurant options and my husbands love of food and cooking, Mark suggested we check out ‘Casa Zilli’, Aldo Zilli’s private dining experience in Surrey. I couldn’t believe it, it was one of my husbands favourite chefs and luckily was available for his birthday!

I booked Casa Zilli and a helicopter to get there, return ground transportation was also organised by Mark.

Before the day arrived, Mark kept me up to date on the exact itinerary and even sent me a picture of the helicopter to know what to expect. As this was a total surprise for my husband and for close family members joining, it was so good to know every little detail was taken care of.

On the actual day, my husband was speechless and in total shock. The helicopter, which looked like it came from a James Bond movie, swooped down and landed in our friends garden where we had stopped for a quick birthday drink (or so my husband was led to believe). Everyone was in awe!

The pilot, David, was fabulous, he allowed us time to take photos and once settled into the helicopter explained the route we were about to take without giving away the final destination. The helicopter was extremely luxurious and even had a fabulous selection of sweets and waters, much to the children’s delight. David occasionally highlighted points of interest along the route to ensure the children where engaged and to give my husband hints as to which direction we were travelling. The landing, in the garden of ‘Casa Zilli’ was flawless and very exciting for all, especially as Aldo himself, and his lovely wife, Nikki, where there to greet us. My husband was blown away by the whole day!

The helicopter then went off to do the same trip again, bringing the remaining family members. It was truly the best day and one the whole family and our friends talk about regularly, a few ticks off the bucket list too.

Even though he was officially on holiday, Mark took the time to follow up on the day and even the day after to ensure all went to plan and the whole day was a great success. Brilliant customer service.

If you want a ‘wow factor’ 5-star+ experience, then Charter-A is for you. I cannot recommend the company nor Mark, enough, it was such a fabulous experience. Book them now, you won’t regret it!

Excellent service as usual, this being our 3rd flight. Martin Benetar is very responsive and helpful with all arrangements. Pilots both very professional and personable, our hound took to them immediately, even before being offered a treat and some water.... Flight was smooth and arrived early, check-in and arrival formalities were quick and efficient. We will be looking forward to using Charter-a again in a few months, very highly recommended.

Always a great experience with Charter-A from start to finish. Excellent communication from Martin (at all times of the day or night!). Superb pilots (particularly in bumpy conditions) and even on a two and a half hour flight there's champagne and sandwiches to enjoy! The ease at the airports alone makes it worth it - no more getting to the airport 2-3 hours prior to your flight, no more queues through security or passport control, no more jostling for space in overhead lockers! Everything goes like clockwork - on time and hassle free. We won't be travelling commercial any time soon!

Mark helped me get my rescue dog from the UK to Guernsey, dealing with changing COVID regulations and negotiating border requirements on my behalf. He was always on hand over weekends and bank holidays and dealt with changing plans patiently and efficiently, and with my panicked questions reassuringly and with such good humour.

The whole team, from the driver that collected me to the pilots themselves were consummate professionals, and genuinely caring people who treated myself and my big, smelly rescue dog, like we were royalty.

Many companies will go all out for long term clients, but it is not often that you’ll find one that will go to any lengths for a one-off customer, Charter-A is one of those rare examples and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I can’t thank Mark enough for everything he and his team at Charter-A has done for my family. With complete border closures in Morocco he managed to get my very ill daughter back home to the UK. After two weeks of negotiation with various authorities he secured permits to bring her home. There were many challenges to arranging this and Mark with diplomacy, tact and the upmost professionalism managed to facilitate this. I was continually updated by Mark as to the state of play and guided through the process of paperwork to be completed. After months of trying to arrange her return I found Charter-A who went above and beyond my expectations. I cannot recommend them enough.

Charter-A recently organised a flight for family members to return from Europe to UK. Their phone was answered almost immediately by real people and Mark made us feel that our problems mattered to them. He was understanding and adaptable to every problem we had in fixing a date for the flight which eventually had to be arranged at very short notice. The help we received from everyone associated with Charter-A was outstanding and meant that our family members' return to UK under difficult circumstances was made as easy as possible. We appreciated their honesty and 'can-do' attitude. They went over and above what we could or would have expected and guided us every step of the way. We have no hesitation in recommending Charter-A. The whole experience with Charter-a was first class from start to finish. The flight was arranged at short notice to bring my parents back to the UK after my mum had developed Alzheimer's, and I cannot praise their professionalism enough. The communication was top rate & the flight from Innsbruck was wonderful with very helpful and friendly crew.

We wanted to have a COVID safe journey home and this was the best way to travel with no fuss and queues of people. From our first contact with Martin to our destination was a wonderful experience. Mark and the Team at Charter-A were outstanding when I needed to travel urgently with my wife and our dog from London to New York during the pandemic. Our dog needed to travel for life-saving brain surgery and every other way we tried to get out of the UK was met with resistance implemented to deal with COVID-19 and frustrating bureaucratic nonsense post BREXIT. Not only was the jet we took superb, Charter-A managed to sort out my US entry clearance which had been revoked by the US shortly before take off - keeping the aircraft at Stansted another day while he did so. It was more than a flight, it was a mission in determination and know-how to get us where we needed to be (in rock star style).
