4 of us for the experience and convenience. Very high hopes, satisfied in the main. Brilliant organisation from the start with excellent communications with Martin. The helicopter was superb, along with Chris the pilot. Chris arrived at the helipad and destination bang on time and his customer care was outstanding, Clearly an experienced and accomplished pilot in all respects. Only 4 stars instead of 5 because my wife had great trouble climbing in and out as the short ladder which was ordered wasn't there.We would choose Charter A again!

Having not hired an aircraft before l found Mark and the team to be very understanding, clear and transparent as l made my hire decision.
They were also super responsive when faced with challenging weather conditions on the day and solved problems quickly and with a minimum of fuss.
i was very happy with the service and would happily work with them again.

I can't praise this company enough. The service and professionalism have been excellent. Mark's patience during the 13 months of on/off due to covid has been commendable.

From conception, Nov 21 to actually going ahead Dec 22, the whole event was a huge success. The ease of planning, the plane and the pilots were all exceptional.

Dealing with them to organise our flight to Guernsey was effortless.
We needed to transport our cat and dog to our new home in the Channel Islands from the Lake District. We wanted to fly from somewhere as close as possible to minimise the stress on the cat who hates car journeys. Martin suggested Blackpool which was perfect. The ground crew were delightful dealing with our 2 pets and all our ridiculous house moving stuff including duvets in a black bin liner and bags of crockery etc. The pilot loaded the cat in his cage and Hamish our border collie was allowed to board without being in a cage. The flight took off on time was wonderfully smooth and took just a few minutes over 1 hour. The highlight for my partner Jason was the cool bag of drinks as he had a beer at 14000 ft as we left the U.K.
Arrival in Guernsey was warm and welcoming at the private hangar. A taxi was waiting to take us to our new home and the ground team coped with the crazy luggage again. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming, helpful and absolutely wonderful with our animals.
Both our boys arrived relaxed and happy and that was the most important thing of all for us.
The real star of this business though is Martin who from first contact was so helpful. We hadn’t used a private plane before and didn’t really know what was required but he was so amazingly efficient. Every email was answered instantly. If only he would run some other business I could think of their customer service would improve dramatically.
We wouldn’t hesitate to fly with the team again.

We cannot express just how impressed we were with the fantastic service we received from Mark and his team. They were able to turn what was an incredibly stressful situation for us into a wonderful experience, They had no hesitation in at the last minute taking an extra passenger our beloved dog. Mark told us no dog is left behind with his company. We are so used to having to wait on the telephone for hours because of Covid, it was amazing to find Mark was literally available 24/7. This amazing company did everything they could to make our journey easy and comfortable . We were travelling to our new home in England from Madeira we our cats and dogs.

Mark at Charter-a arranged for us to fly to England from Madeira this week with our three dogs and five cats. The flight was a wonderful once in a lifetime experience we will never forget but what was even more wonderful was the care and commitment with which Mark organised everything. It is not often that one comes across someone as compassionate, competent and efficient as Mark and we are privileged to know him. Nothing was too much for him and even when there were problems he sorted them out before letting us know. We can only recommend Charter-a unreservedly; you will be in safe hands if you put your trust in him and his team.
