I very rarely give 5 stars, but at the time of visiting Cecere’s Music they were in the middle of moving locations. And whilst they probably would have preferred to spend time on organising the shop, they spent some of that time looking for the instruments I enquired about... they could have easily asked me to come back in a few days when they were finished with sorting the new location.
And after all that it ended up being a good value purchase for me too, thanks Cecere’s Music!

How not to provide customer service
I ordered and paid for a loudspeaker on the website. It gave the impression that it was in stock. A week later I had still not received an email to confirm that my order had been received or the item had been shipped. After I sent an email asking where it was up to a text message was sent to say it was not in stock and would not be until at least March. I have not even had an email reply. During that week I had a speaker box made specifically for that model. If I had been told straight away it was not in stock I would have stopped that. This is totally unprofessional.

Almost a fortnight since I placed the order and it’s still sitting pending in ZipPay. The only communication I’ve received is this “rate your service” email. And, amazingly an email asking me to rate the product I haven’t even received yet. Just a thought but maybe you ought to email saying it’ll take a while to get your item. Setting realistic expectations is so important to customer service. I chose an Australian shop instead of buying from abroad, please don’t make me regret that choice.
Online ordering with in store pickup
Ordered a yukelle online to be picked up in store and within a week we received notification that it had come in and we were able to go in store and pick it up. Good service, convenient, and plenty of choice. Customer service throughout was excellent. A great place to shop.
