Cashback is a scam
Cashback is a scam! Today I received another response from Suzy @Cashback stating she can't find my account to refund me when her previous email confirming she cancelled subscription and had processed a refund to my bank account which she indicated the last 4 digits . Requested my account information again!! This company took $ out of my bank account which I never gave them the account information in the beginning of this nightmare.

0 stars if possible. I do not even know who these people are. Similar to another reviewer below, my debit card was charged $20 out of nowhere. I have never even visited the website, and the only reason I even knew what it was or how to find it was because it was in the memo under the unauthorized $20 charge. These people are total scammers, replying to our reviews as if they’re sorry but continue to do illegal fraudulent things to get money. I can’t imagine how many people they’re taking money from that just don’t notice, because unlike the other guy my bank did not alert me. I have NO CLUE how this business got my debit card information and I feel extremely violated that they think it’s ok to just charge my card for no reason. I had to cancel my card because of this, and now I have to wait 3 weeks for it to come in the mail. Thanks a lot, you guys are horrible. I will be reporting you to the BBB. DOWNRIGHT SCAM! I clicked the link to sign up for the website back in August from the DSW app. It being advertised by such a company I thought it was an offer directly from DSW as in they were the ones providing the $20 as a coupon so gullibly I gave my information. Then when I was billed $20 + the $1 fee I was caught so off guard and tried to cancel through the website. When I “logged into my account”, it said that I had no active membership which perplexed me because I was billed the $21. When I emailed them I got an email back saying they would get back to me but they never did so I accepted that I might have lost those $20 but that maybe they had canceled my account. However, in September I was billed for another $20 so I disputed the charge and canceled my card BECAUSE I had already emailed them to cancel the account that I couldn’t cancel myself. I thought that might have been the end of it and I felt a sense of relief. However, today on October 20th 2026, I was charged another $20. I emailed again because this is the 3rd time I get a charge on my card after I tried to cancel! I also called but was met with an AI assistant. I need that money as I am a first year, first generation college student who gets by with my campus job. I cannot afford these charges. I am now owed a $40 refund which I need back soon. I also need that “account” canceled. Thank you.

These offers are misleading, ridiculous in a waste of time. I'm so grateful for places like trustpilot where I've learned to go before I use any website, because there are so many scam artists out there and this is just a way they found around the rules to make it legal, however, immoral period. I asked for a replacement card and 5 days later I get this new $20.00 charge on my new debit card, which I did not give them.
