Good value roof bars which fitted well on the Seat Arona. Did not realize when I ordered that the items were being shipped from Ireland so the shipment took a little longer to arrive than I was expecting. Email from the company advised of some potential delays post order.

I have almost a duplicate review of the previous reviewer. Bought some roofbars to go on our Skoda but needed them for a holiday we were going on. We had a response from Micks Garage (not Carracks.co.uk) to say our delivery was going to be late. I tried to get in touch to find out how late but the email bounced back. The bars eventually arrived late and by that time we were already on our holiday. When we returned home I tried to use the returns form on their website (they state a 30 day returns policy) which said my response had been submitted but I haven’t heard anything and I’ve now tried numerous times. Absolutely rubbish. There’s a post on Money Saving Expert forums where they suggest there’s nothing on companies house for this company. Smacks of a scam. Either way I’d avoid this company at all costs. Now stilling with some unopened roofbars I can’t return.

Firstly carracks claims to be a London based company, ordered only to find out it was coming from a different company in Ireland (micks garage)
Received automated Initial email notifying of delay in shipping, followed by further email regarding customs charges. No response when i replied querying delayed delivery/ customs so had to purchase duplicate item elsewhere (actually this time from within the UK!)as tracking still showed in ireland (was going on holiday and needed the rack be end of week (ordered the previous week). When item arrived i immediately tried to fill in online returns, to which the form would not work. Ended up finding the other irish website and submitted a returns request and heard nothing - radio silence. Currently have an unopened parcel i need to return for refund and looking like im stuck £350 out of pocket as no response at all

Absolute shambles - dishonest with company & location & substandard communication. Avoid like the plague..

Good communication and quick delivery and the car rack for our Toyota Rav 4 is perfect for our needs. I only gave 4 stars due to the assembling instructions not being great, but which seems to be the norm these days with anything you buy unfortunately. A full video on how to put the whole thing together would be a good idea I think.

Waited about a week for the item,item all intact and fitted perfectly on my vehicle,will use again if needed..

I bought a set of Nordrive riifbars for a 2021 Mercedes A Class A180. The fixing bolts are too large for the mounting points. For these to fit the T bolts need to be ground down very slightly.
It is impossible to phone Car Racks, they do not publish an email address and the online form does not work.
I contacted them via micksgarage - essentially the same company, received a response a week later simply telling me the bolts do fit.
I will not use this cosplay again - there are so many other online companies which offer a better service to customers.

Advert pictured a London base which doesn't exist. Advert said 48 hour delivery but item came from Eire and took 2 weeks to arrive, disrupting our plans. No response to emails, listed phone number did not work, zero customer service. Fortunately - unlike some other customers posting here - it did arrive in the end. I really hope we don't have to call on the guarantee. Best avoid this company.

the roof bars for my Lexus arrived quickly and fit well.
they were a bit of a fuss to asemble. Appear to be very good quality. They held firm even when roof box nudged hieght restrictor.

Web site said 2-3 days delivery, which thought was fine give london location, however took over a week, so it came from Ireland!! and a part was missing, fortunately a important part, reported it via the Web site but only contact so far is this request for a review. As they say its easy to get poor reviews. Was able to use for holiday though.Also delivery tracker hard to follow as dates not in chronological order.

Dreadful service. I ordered a roof rack which was advertised as 75kg max load. It arrived and the manufacturer information stated 50kg. Carracks agreed that they would arrange a courier to collect as the sale had been misleading. However, when it came to arranging courier, they went silent and sent automated responses. I ended going beyond the 30 day at which point they no longer responded. Phone number is an automated message to e-mail. E-mail is like getting blood out of a stone. Micksgarage also connected and no response from them to help.
I am now out of pocket to the tune of £110.
Go elsewhere!

Rack arrived ahead of expected delivery date, well packed and in good condition. Fitting was straightforward and, especially for the price, the quality is excellent. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Car racks / Micks Garage is an absolutely terrible company; they sent only half my order and have done nothing to rectify the matter after I informed them. Its been weeks now and they have ignored all of my attempts to resolve the issue. Am now having to engage my credit card company to attempt to reclaim the money they have taken. I do not recommend anyone purchase anything from this company (scam!)
