I love the food here, but the staff is incredibly rude. I've caught them talking crap and laughing about me behind the counter on multiple occasions.
The first time was when I politely asked a server to repeat herself because I couldn't hear her. She immediately complained about me to a coworker right in front of me. Yesterday, after paying for a tofu katsu curry, I noticed the sweet and spicy chicken and asked if I could pay to add some as a side. She said no, and despite me politely saying No worries! Thanks anyway, she and her coworkers started mocking me behind the counter.
Minutes later, she came to my table to tell me the chef 'forgot' to make tofu anyway and offered the chicken instead. I was polite and accepted it without any complaints or fuss, but the constant mocking is completely uncalled for. I'm not a difficult customer, but this service completely ruins the experience

Noodle were microwaved, sweet and sour chicken was dry , not given time to say what you like to order or maybe changed mind before started your order.

NEVER AGAIN the kyaso bowl was a small amount it consists if 4 udon dumplings greens noodles that is not what the picture showed spent £22.00 😐 as 4 the cake which was 3.95 was NO bigger than a biscuit 😳 SAVE YR MONEY 😠 😡

Kokoro Guildford (opposite Barclays Bank) Bought a Beef on the bone that looked like it was possibly sat in bacteria all day but I thought they sold a lot during the day as it was about 5:30.I’ve eaten there before many times.Have actually had mild food poisoning from there before but not like this.I woke up with stomach cramps at midnight and food poisoned. Was on toilet until 1:30AM. It’s now 08:00am and I’ve taken the day off work as my stomach is bad & have diarrhoea. Never again. Not hygienic.

I can understand the fact this was 6:30pm on a Saturday night ( 3/01/26) but They had about 10 Deliveroo orders on the board and they were still accepting more orders instead of serving the customers in the shop , 10 minutes we waited before being served and then we were told we would have to wait for the actual chicken because they had ran out ( on the deliveries ).
While the server was doing ours she then stopped half way to finish off a Deliveroo so we were kept waiting a further just under 10 minutes.
So customer service was just thrown out the window last night.

The food when we got it was ok and tasted as should , chicken teriyaki was a bit dry and some bits were a little too chewy. And the noodles had gone slightly cold even though they had been microwaved.

Within the hour of eating both me and my partner started getting gurgling stomachs and then all throughout the night one was vomiting and the other had diarrhoea really bad. I had a fit and was choking on my own vomit , my partner physically had to pry open my mouth so I could breathe. All that came up was my kokoro from last night , hospital confirmed it be food poisoning.

Wouldn’t recommend this one at all unfortunately and I am going to look into legal advice and share my story as if my partner wasn’t there today I probably wouldn’t be here now.

Waste of money. The Teriyaki Salmon should be called Teriyaki SKIN Salmon!!! Really ridiculous full of skin just a very few bit of Salmon meat! The lady serving was kind to even try to exchange some pieces but STILL ONLY SKIN came out. Don't waste your money there unless you "ok" eating skin of Salmon! Make me sick, so oily 🤢🤢🤢

After our last visit with a very negative impact on us and, after complaining about situation we decided maybe something changed in this shop and wanted to give it a try. Came to the shop at 11.10.2025 at 14.00. A long queue from the door. Two TM’s doing deliveries and not paying attention to the customers at all. 14.32 the manager (he refused to give the name)is coming and at the comment about this situation the answer is “we are short staff today” in a very rude way. The answer to the question “why the online customers are more important than the ones in the shop” his answer is “because the drivers press us”, again very rude. A very professional answer, well done company for having this polite staff! To my advice that one TM can serve customers his answer is “instead arguing with me I could serve people, don’t tell me what to do”. As a business that wants to grow this kind of service is unacceptable.

Kororo Worthing gave us all stomach pains. We all had something different! I had the salmon which was made to order but it was all skin and no meat! £10 and I couldn’t eat any of it, really gross. My son left half of his as he felt sick, he had chicken curry and my husband was up all night feeling sick after eating sweet chilli chicken! Avoid this place! Staff are lovely tho!

Paid £10 for salmon teriyaki and only got maybe 3 tiny pieces of salmon in the main dish and a very tiny portion.

Most of the dish was actually made up of Salmon skin, not salmon!
Absolutely gross. I spent 5-10 minutes just picking out all the salmon skin and once that was removed I barely had anything left other than vegetables.

These guys put alternative things in their hot meal to make it look like a proper dish, ripping people off and giving them tiny portions of food in comparison to what they're buying.
I'm hungry after eating this entire dish considering most was salmon skin! Which went in the bin! What a wasteful company. Outrageous

Tried the Salmon Teriaki, had nothing but fish skin in it. The sauce was tasty but is obviously used to disguise the bad food underneath it. Wouldn’t shop here again,

Terrible service from Northgate Street Gloucester - avoid at all costs Delayed delivery!! No customer service!! Ruined a birthday party!

Great food terrible service at the wimbledon branch. They take an unreasonable amount of time to serve. I waiged for 15 minutes then had to leave for my train. Multiole stafg came ip to feed themselves while a que was waiting. Ive been several times always the same. The kingston branch is great but the wimbledon branch staff take the mick!

Smaller portions than it used to be. They expand the menu but can't keep up. Food ordered - kimbap was so dry and old that I need to bin it. No response from manager in Bracknell. Avoid!

Kokoro Liverpool…avoid avoid avoid.Ordered two meals £17 was going to stay in but the place was filthy so asked for a bag to takeaway and because I only had my card and they charged 10p they wouldn’t give me one.Absolute disgrace and if I could give no stars I would.

Saturday,was a very rainy day.Took advantage of being sheltered at the Arndale centre in Manchester and came across kokoro as an opportunity to devour a first class sweet and sour meal dished up in a sizeable tub and being dealt with by a delightful young lady.

Kokoro in Guildford Friary is not worth to visit, portions are very small in protein compare to other stores and on my last visit even the Katsu miso soup was taste less. However, Kokoro in Guildford on North Street is amazing and keeps the same top quality for many years. I hope my review will be heard from the management in Friary and improve the service to their customers.

I started going to Kokoro, in Wood Green. UK. ( in October 2023 ). I order sweet sour chicken, with mix vegetables and noodles. And so delicious. If I ever need a Chinese meal or snack. I know where to go👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 :)

Good quality and service company seems to have gone out of business
I ordered the hakama wide back in late 2021. and I decided I wanted to order another pair because they were so comfortable but the website has been taken down. it's a shame because I'm a personal fan of that style of pants and they were the closest to real hakama but with a modern take in ease of wearing and extreme comfort.

Never got my order and no answer on any questions.
A complete scam!!!
