I had an excellent experience after theft of precious fishing gear

I had an excellent experience after LV referred my claim to BeValued to handle, easy to contact, fast responses and I even got to talk to a helpful human being and wasn't put on hold for ages when calling to clarify something.
After our bike store was broken into, bikes and 30+ years of fishing gear were stolen, I was sceptical of how this claim would go as I had a list longer than my arm of all the fishing gear missing; its only my second claim on house insurance in over 30 years but Nikhil and BeValued (ref 2468755) have resolved this in no time at all and I can start to rebuild my life long hobby. :-) Amazing I'm well happy.

Easy to deal with

Easy to deal with, with intuitive online portal to add claim details. Claim settled without quibble within two days, replacement ordered for delivery, handled by friendly courteous staff over the phone. Very satisfied with the process thanks!

Mac Book Pro Screen Repair

Our Mac Book pro’s screen was accidentally damaged and we were passed to BeValued by the insurance company for the repair. We were apprehensive and our preference would have been for the repair to be completed by Apple directly. That being said, the laptop was collected promptly and the repair was completed by an Apple approved repairer with parts sourced directly from Apple. It was returned the next day after we had paid the insurance excess in a brand new box. Very happy with the repair and the service that we received.

This company is terrible

This company is terrible, avoid at all cost! And if your insurance company say they’re using them, beware. They do not use reputable companies, they use ones who make you feel uncomfortable in your own home. Terrible service.

Can't review this company high…

Can't review this company high enough..they did what they said they would do, on time and did a good job of it too even sending me back a DVD that had got stuck in my PS4 when it broke. Megan (I think!) dealt with me and she was great..thank you!

My computer monitor got accidentally…

My computer monitor got accidentally damaged. I made a claim via my insurance, and BeValued handled the claim. They arranged for the monitor to be picked up, and after that they made a suggestion for a replacement. I rejected their choose, as my original monitor was still in production. They were fine with that and sent me a voucher, minus the £100 excess. I was able to buy the monitor online, and it arrived the next day.

Happy customer

BeValued dealt with my claim for a broken laptop. From start to finish they were friendly and efficient. Excellent customer service. No waiting in phone queues with numerous options, with BeValued you go straight through to a person ! Thank you for making the process go so smoothy.

A brilliant service

A brilliant service, I was able to speak to the same person every time I called (the charming & helpful Matthew), no difficulty in assessing the insurance claim & quickly coming to a good resolution. This is the first time in over 30 years that I’ve had to make a claim on home insurance & BeValued couldn’t have made it easier - recommended.

I’d like to personally thank Tom from Be Valued as it took him 24 hours to take care of my claim alone while waiting for the original company for two months to sort out the exact same thing. I really believe he’s a great asset to the company going extra mile for me after seeing my claim on hold for 2 months. I really appreciate his help and wanted the company to know, thanks again Tom

I was mugged and they stole my bike

I was mugged and two masked thieves with knives stole my Cube Electric Mountain Bike. I had a voucher for a replacement but wanted to upgrade and include remote "shut down" as a feature of my new bike as well as getting better components. Matthew steered me through this expertly and when I questioned his considerable technical knowledge he confessed that he was a Mountain Bike Enthusiast and so his advice and "lived experience" was invaluable. 10/10

LV referal for replacement phone…

My first experience dealing with this firm . I was a little worried after reading some reviews . However, my experience was fine following a theft of my mobile.
I should say I am an ex insurance broker so I know what they require , including checks and I am fine with this. New phone arrive two days later.

Caring and effective response.

I dealt with a young lad who is called Jamie Rolfe and from start to finish he was very helpful and respecting of the situation I was in, he was professional precise and above all a credit to any company. I promised I would write a review because I found the whole experience so helpful after such a shock of the theft of my tools etc from my van.

Not the best first impression for making a claim

Update 2024-07-12:
BeValued contacted me to say they did not expect that my council would charge so much for an item removal and offered to refund me the cost I incurred doing so. My score has been updated accordingly.

This is kind-of a joint condemntation of esure and BeValued, and will be posted the same for both of them. My washing machine suffered a premature and violent death due to an item of clothing disintegrating inside it during the spin cycle, which was a good start. I used esure's online reporting tool as it was a Saturday afternoon close to their closing time. The tool tbh is pretty good, asking me to upload photos, model numbers, etc. According to the tool I had successfully submitted my claim and should hear back shortly. At that point I was expecting I might hear from them on Monday or possibly Tuesday if it had been a busy weekend for them.
By Wednesday afternoon I'd still heard nothing so I decided to call them. There's no functionality within their website to see existing claims that I could find so this was my only option. Helpfully I'd never been given a claim number by email after finishing the claim entry either. The agent I spoke to told me that the claim was with a 3rd party, BeValued, gave me a reference number and their phone number and told me to contact them. BeValued had no record of the claim at all so I called esure back, spoke to a different agent and was told that the original automated job to send my claim to BeValued had failed and the first agent should've spotted it. The claim was re-sent and an hour or so later I received a replacement offer for a cheaper washing machine, with no clear way to dispute it. All I could do was accept it or cancel the claim entirely.
I accepted and was contacted by the retailer a while later to arrange a delivery date (none of this was made clear beforehand, not the retailer's fault but BeValued could do more to make this obvious) and asked them if the old one was being removed, or if it was even an extra service I can pay for. Apparently this is not something BeValued will let you do, even if you pay for it extra! So instead of being able to pay ~£30 extra for the old machine to be removed from my house and recycled I instead had to pay the local council £45 to collect it after removing it myself.

TL;DR esure fumbled my claim and didn't notice, leaving me without a washing machine for 2-3 days longer than needed, and BeValued really didn't make me feel valued at all with their less-than-equivalent offer and inability to even let me *pay extra* to have the old machine hauled out of my house.
