I have found Barbour to be very informative and time saving when it comes to developing toolbox talks and director briefings. There are a few tweaks that could enhance the platform like being able to copy folder format for International Countries but overall, its a good platform.

I have used Barbour for 7 years to help build our International Registers, although they only had a small number of Countries available at first this has grown considerably over the last few years enabling us to build our Registers as well as keeping up to date with the changes in Country Legislation.
They have also listened to our requirements in respect to specific statutory requirements and are developing an easy to use schedule for the test & inspection for Statutory Assets to help ensure compliance to Country Regulations.
Access to the system is quick and easy and the Search Option provides access to so much information for so many Countries, from preparing new Toolbox Talks to developing a new Legal Register.
They also provide Training support for all Team members with regular reviews of our account and updates on the service changes etc.

We encountered access issues repeatedly making the system unusable. A phone call would be required for this to be reset. Given our use of the system required immediate access we had to find an alternative provider. Barbour held us to the contract to pay in full despite them being well aware of the problem, even admitting it was a compatibility issue with internet browsers. If you unfortunate to already have a contract with them ensure all issues you have reported by phone are confirmed by email so you have evidence. It is a pity they approached the issue with a 'tough luck attitude' as the information is really good, we just couldn't get access to it! I will however ensure that none of the 7 companies in our group will use any of their services.

Great for gap analysis, keeping on top of legislation, directors briefings, employee fact sheets... the list goes on. I use it on a daily basis.

Amazing product that has helped us to remain complaint. Very helpful customer care team who have always been on hand when I have needed them.

Barbour is one of those things tools you may not use a lot but when you need it, access to it makes a world of difference. Excellent up to date information, easily accessible and easy to find the information you require all make Barbour a must for safety professionals.

Ive recently been putting a legal register together for UK& Ireland. I have not found the platform very helpful. I have tried to build a legal register but have not found this user friendly. The webinars and emails are useful at giving updates.

We use Barbour as a great reference tool, the tool box talks are exceptionally useful.

Some good references but I find the templates are a bit lacking in quantity and detail

I often get an error message saying that I cannot access the site - this is happening more regular and since the look of the site changed. When I try the next day it usually works and lets me log in. Since the new layout I find it more difficult to find documents on the site than previously. I do not think it is as user friendly as before.

I always have a great experience when suing Barbour services. It is an invaluable resource for work and to ensure that keep up-to-date with all of the ongoing changes to legislation, approved codes and technical reference documents.

Barbour is a really helpful platform for keeping on top of the latest health and safety legislation updates. I can add all the relevant documents to a collection and then I get notified if there are any changes. Saves me so much time!
