Read this before buying from Baby Bubble Store

I decided to write this review to warn any potential buyers before they purchase from Baby Bubble Store. If you’re thinking about buying from them, don’t. If you already have, I feel for you.

Baby Bubble Store is essentially a dropshipping business using shady practices. They source cheap, low-quality products from Ali Express (Alibaba), tweak the descriptions to make them sound more appealing, reuse the same product images, and then jack up the price by 3-4 times. They slap these on a polished Shopify website, hoping you won’t notice. What you’re really paying for is an overpriced, generic, low-quality knockoff.

The manufacturers' shipping methods are just as bad. They use obscure couriers you’ve never heard of, and delivery takes ages. If you live in Australia (As in my case), and think their .com.au domain means they’re a local business, think again. They don’t even have an Australian Business Number (ABN), (Or at lease they don't include one in their invoices), yet somehow they secured a .com.au domain to mislead customers into believing they’re a legitimate local company.

Now let’s talk about their delivery process. Any negative comment you’ve read about their couriers is 100% true. These so-called “couriers” misplace packages, deliver to the wrong address, or don’t deliver at all. But in their useless tracking systems, the packages are marked as “Delivered.” Baby Bubble Store conveniently hides behind this, claiming they’re not responsible for lost or stolen items marked as delivered. This is illegal. According to the ACCC, the seller is responsible for resolving issues with the courier, but Baby Bubble Store doesn’t care. Why? Because they’re a dropshipping business, and they’re at the mercy of whatever dodgy courier the supplier decides to use.

In my case, the courier was iMile, a company that misplaced or lost the items I purchased and marked them as Delivered in their system. When I tried to reach out to them, I found out their customer service is just a WhatsApp bot that sends you in circles. Baby Bubble Store wasn’t any better. After complaining, I was met with another bot telling me to file for a return. A return! For an item I never received! But fine, I went through their ridiculous return process only to find they charge a $24 restocking fee per item. PER ITEM. At that point, I had had enough. I demanded a full refund within three business days, only to get yet another automated response.

Left with no other option, I initiated a chargeback through my credit card bank and wrote this review as a warning to others. Baby Bubble Store is a dodgy online business with terrible products, terrible service, and no accountability. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them!

I am disappointed that I have had no response from multiple emails sent regarding the delivery of an item ordered and processed on 2nd December. This is a gift for my new baby grandson for Christmas but it hasn’t arrived and the communication has been very disappointing.

We ordered 20 dopplers to give our clients. Received them fairly quickly and they seem to work great. Just wish they had the gel in the box, had to purchase that on amazon. But would order the dopplers again...great price!

Do they even have the product ordered?

Absolutely unsatisfactory business practices. Ordered a few things far in advanced to into consideration logistical issues to come. Website assured timely delivery on orders over $ amount. Not only is there no updates on shipping and no way to track shipping, the business itself seems to not feel this is useful to consumers. Be cautious! Researching past reviews, it’s clear the owner gives vague answers and doesn’t see it to make it right. I should’ve search reviews before making any purchases, 2 out of 5 stars? And not even able to leave a review on the site. This is very concerning and should be taken into consideration before shopping at this business. This also leads me to believe they do not have the items readily available for order fulfillment and to send out after payment processing. Call and ask the questions before just clicking and paying. Or just read past reviews!!!!

I ordered this on December 8

I ordered this on December 8. The shipping emails and tracking links don’t tell me anything. There is no information about the status of the order. I have no idea when it will be delivered. Very frustrating, especially this close to Christmas.

I have no problem with your 8-14 business day shipping policy but when I try to track my shipment via the link on your email, it gives me no information. I still have a very limited idea of when the package will arrive.

Poor customer service

I did make a mistake on my order, however I also emailed right away to correct. The order now has shipped without correction even though other questions were answered no one advised if the incorrect pattern chosen had been updated as originally requested.
Fairly disappointed now as I have to wait for the arrival to find out??? If it was not updated then have to order again & deal with a return for refund possibly. Also, no phone number anywhere on site to actually speak with someone was frustrating

Scam

Scam. I ordered item with expected delivery within a week. Received multiple updates saying item was repeatedly delayed. At first, trusted there was a logistical issue. Then started digging. Their "shipping status" page has no details. I reached out to customer service repeatedly to ask if they could provide what shipping company they used and a tracking number. Could not provide.

scam & won’t process refund!!!

awful. i processed my refund with them within the 14 day window and was told by the team that i need to return the item in order to get my refund but it so clearly states that they told me not to return it to save on gas emissions… and that they will still process my refund to my original payment method. since then, they’ve completely ghosted me and will not respond to my email after showing them proof of what their website said i will get without returning the item. i don’t know why i need to tell them this. don’t they keep record of orders and what they’ve approved for refund? what a joke.

update to jane williams: i don’t want to share my personal information here but order # is 23996 and RMA # is R2024111904327252748. Please respond to my email chains ASAP and send me my refund.

Avoid at all costs

Do not shop here. They say the item had shipped and been delivered I then tell them I haven't received it and they say oh it wasn't shipped and has now been shipped. It's from china not Australia, don't buy the cheap Chinese crap. Not worth it. Currently in dispute with PayPal. Scammers.

Their reply states there is a chargeback - this is a complete lie. I have not even got the banks involved as I paid via PayPal- idiot's.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service

- I ordered an item in mid-November and submitted a return request via the website.
- The only return option I could select was 'green return' (keep the item and receive a partial refund)
- I got a confirmation email to say my return request was received and that the process would take up to 7 days. I expected this would be a refund within 7 days.
-That time passed, I got in touch and asked for an update. I was told that the company was waiting for the item to come back to them in order to process the return.
- I explained that the only option was green return and that I'd be happy to post the item back but need a return address provided to me.

The company stalled responding to my emails and kept directing me to their online self-return page.
All I needed was a return address so I could post the item back. The stalled responses for so long that when I attempted to click on the return button again it said the return window had closed. INFURIATING.

I have send over half a dozen emails to them by this point, by luck, I googled Baby bubble return and there was a Bondi address (not visible on their site through any convenient link).

I have since sent the parcels back to this address of my own accord.
Every email I have written to customer service has pleaded for help with emailing me a return address.
The replies read as though they're written by A.I.
I may never get my refund and I am concerned that the return address is not legitimate.

This is the most dubious, untrustworthy shopping experience I have ever had and I am appalled.
I have a newborn child and scarcely enough time to even write this.

poor communication

seller has poor communication. Package was returned to seller as it was missing postage. I emailed them to share a tracking as they mentioned they will ship again but they never replied. Followed up multiple times. They are now sharing my tracking on this website in reply to this review. Why couldn’t they reply to my email?

Long delivery time

Long delivery time. Not arrived after 3 weeks. Cannot cancel order. Nothing saying obviously length of delivery. Clearly a regular issue as automatic response goes through this in detail, stating you cannot cancel order.
