The heater never arrived, I got no response from customer service. A complete scam.

The first heater never arrived. They gave me a phony tracking number the first two or three times. The second heater arrived, sort of worked for a couple of weeks with vaguely warm air, and then it stopped working. They then sent me instructions, like instructions would fix something broken. They tried to hustle me with all sorts of refunds (25%, 50%, 75%, etc.) Avoid these people, their company, and their products at all costs. The reviews on their website are made up.

Appalling Company. Please stay clear and don't be tempted to order from Alpha Heater. I cancelled my order in writing to both the US and UK support emails provided, almost immediately after I placed it. My husband checked what I had ordered and said this is not what we required and to cancel. All my emails sent between 10 and 25 January 2024 have gone unanswered. The heaters (two) were delivered from the US despite my request to cancel the order within minutes of placing it. I have requested a postage address to which I can return them (no evidence of this on their website or order confirmation), within their returns policy. Five days on I have heard nothing. Beware and Stay Clear. And don't waste your hard earned money on this over priced and cheaply made product.

think I have been caught out like all the other buyers of these so called miracle heaters. I paid around £140 for three heaters plus 3 remotes. At time of purchase I just wanted one but their marketing methods had me buying 3. turned out they were useless so got in touch to return, they did reply but after a few emails to and fro, eventually said they would give me huge discount cut the connection. they did put £112 back into my account. no way they were taking heaters back. hoping nothing untoward comes of this. by the way the three heaters together would not heat a phone box.

These heaters are not what they are cracked up to be, the prices range from £17 - £50 depending where you shop. I returned 2 because they just do not do what they say they do, inefficient

Nothing has gone wrong as they haven't arrived yet. The prospect looks pretty bad. Wish I had seen the reviews before I brought. DAMN AND BLAST IT ******

These are a poor purchase. They do NOT do what they say they do. Lots of fake reviews. They are HOPELESS at heating a room. Company is taking advantage of the fuel cost crisis.

I emailed them within 5 mins of ordering asking to cancel the order but they refused. The next day I was then billed over £200 for a product they said would only cost £50 and free delivery

It's outrageous and they should not be shut down.

Had 2 amounts taken from my account although only ordered 1item. Requested cancellation and refund, that was confirmed by Amy at alpha, however only smaller amount refunded still chasing larger amount.Was emailed offering huge reduction to avoid postage on returning.Item was never received.Cant get anybody to respond now. I will be contacting Trading Standards/Fraud Squad don't know how that will go as it seems not a UK company

Beware of fake review sites, Alphaheater has clearly written many, very clever as they all look bona fide. But the product itself is very poor and does not heat up even a small room. Plus, as they are plug mounted, what little heat is produced is restricted to the wall area rather the centre of the room. For similar money I have now procured a Von Haus oil filled heater and the difference is staggering!!!

Well it looks as though i'm another person falling for the hype about Alpha Heaters. Ordered Nov, Customer Services gave me a tracking number January that indicated it was stuck in Customs and i had to pay a further £46. I requested a refund but never heard back!
I too thought i was dealing with a UK company so when my £96 order for two turned into £111 as a result of the $125 exchange rate i was shocked. Be aware if anyone orders more than one as i received 1 for a UK plug socket and 1 for a European plug socket. Oh has anyone got the remote controls to work with the heater? Something extra you're charged for! :-(

My experience is echoed by other Trustpilot reviews. This company is capitalising on people's worries about energy costs. Their pop up ads are all over the net and often link to (in retrospect) fake reviews which claim these heaters are the best on the market. There is no indication that you are buying from the States, nor that a UK customs levy will be due (in my case around £45.00), nor that these heaters are, in fact, made in China. Ordered in December, the delivery was stuck at UK customs for a month without any info on a charge to be paid. Aphaheat customer service were actually quite responsive but couldn't help and the buck kept being passed between them and the three (?!) agencies involved in delivery. Eventually the heaters arrived after I coughed up the duty, well over a month after the order. The awful translated instructions immediately alerted me to these heaters not being U.S. made. The heaters were completely useless. On the plus side, Alphaheat gave me a quick and full refund (including customs duty) and have allowed me to keep the heaters as 'a gesture of good will', though I'm not sure what I could use them for - certainly not heating! I did make the company aware of the UK Consumer protection Act and of Trustpilot reviews, which I should have read in the first place. A lesson learned. Don't buy Alphaheaters.

I originally wanted 1 heater;however, due to their marketing style sucking me in I stupidly ordered 3 believing that I was getting a bargain. I waited weeks and weeks but the tracking showed no progress for my order. Eventually after complaining to the company I received a refund but what I don’t expect is to be landed with a £38 customs bill for goods I have never received. I’ve sent numerous emails to the company pointing out that these charges were never mentioned at the time of purchase but all I get in response is the same email to say I’ve been refunded. My next port of call is to take this up with my credit card company and DHL. Avoid this company at alll costs! Rogue company and a very poor experience all round.

This device does not deliver, Very little heat and certainly not enough to warm a room. Company could not answer specific questions about the buttons on the remote. A complete waste of money. I’m later saw the device for £20 at a local shop but described by the cashier as “rubbish”. I was offered a 75% refund without the need to return which has yet to arrive. It will go to landfill. Do not be tempted.

Would not recommend to anyone.The customer service is absolutely PATHETIC!! They also charged for a remote that was not requested.
Still waiting for product after 10 mails AND 30 DAYS LATER

Ordered 26th November. The tracking link that they supplied claimed to have delivered to my address on the 6th December but it had not. Alpha suggested that I check with my neighbours and my local post office!!!
Finally, after successive emails, on the 12th December, they agreed to refunding my payment. It’s now 31st December and I have yet to receive the refund. It looks as if I will have to continue chasing. The cost to me so far has been £106.68 and two man hours. My recommendation is - DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BROWSING THEIR SITE. Keep off this spider’s web!

I bought two of these heaters (14/12/22) and they arrived two weeks later (27/12/22). I thought that it was a UK based company, but they were shipped from America. I did not have to be any surcharges and the tracking information was excellent and user-friendly. The heaters worked, they gave off some heat and do not use much electricity.
BUT, the claim to heat a room to 24 degrees in two minutes is, in my experience, far removed from the truth. There is not much heat at all.
There appears to be no guarantee and no returns policy.
The email given bounces back.
Overall, a bad buy.
