We had the most magical day at Duxford, from the booking process to the actual flight we were thoroughly looked after, with great communication throughout. On the day we were a larger group than normally attend but the staff were all magnificent. This was a present for my partner but as a group we were all treated beautifully! It was great listening to all the staff talk with such passion about what they do and my partner had the most magical flight referring to it as the best experience he has ever had (and he has had a few!) Mike the pilot was great with my partner and gave him the ride of his life with all his aerobatic rolls and loops. Watching it back and listening to them chatting on the usb was great and will be a treasured moment of the day

On 1st of April I fulfilled my one item on my “Bucket List” A magical, exciting and very emotional flight in the greatest aircraft in history. I flew this “ Living Merlin “ machinery for 20 amazing minutes and my pilot ,Mike Collett , was the most professional, funny and relatable person and gave me the ride of my life . I am eternally grateful to him and everyone at Aerial Collective. I experienced 3 Barrel Rolls,2 Loops and 3 Victory Rolls !! Please don’t hesitate in booking this lifetime experience .You will not be treated and looked after better than on this day .

Wow. What an amazing experience Jack, Beth, and Simon gave me. The weather was a bit dodgy the day-of, but Jack knew I had come in from the US and did everything he could to get me in the air (safely). And I had a great flight with Simon playing in puffy white clouds. I was able to fly the spitfire for quite a long time and we did all of the aerials! My family was looked after very well and the cake was delicious !!! What a top notch and professional operation. I recommend Aerial Collective without reservation!!!!

I took a 70 minute Spitfire flight on 26th March 2026. Every aspect of the experience was fantastic. From the helpful admin staff at booking, through reception, ground crew, flight and safety briefing to the pilot and flight itself. I was actually booked for the 24th but the weather, whilst flyable, wasn't perfect so Jack the Operations Manager gently encouraged me to move the booking until later in the week. I'm so glad he did as the weather was perfect.
The flight itself was amazing. As a pilot myself I was eager to take the controls and John the pilot was happy for me to do so for much of the flight. Once we reached the south coast John took control and executed some aerobatics over the sea. A couple of barrel rolls, a loop and a Half Cuban - all very enjoyable with Beach Head as a backdrop.
Whilst I was flying, the ground crew took excellent care of my wife. Everyone at Aerial Collective is so friendly and helpful.
Sadly for my bank balance I now want to return to go up in the Hurricane and/or Mustang.
I strongly recommend flying with Aerial Collective to anyone that is interested in aviation.

Blessed with perfect blue skies and bright sunshine in March, I was taken up in a 2 seater Spitfire by top rated pilot Jon Gowdy. We did 3 barrel rolls and I took the controls for a few simpler turns. What an experience. They really look after you for your very special day. Aerobatics are optional; if you don't want to go upside down or experience high Gs, (1.5G was my limit) then you can just enjoy a wonderfully smooth elegant flight with great views and appreciate the skills of those young lads in 1940 onwards who flew them in combat. I'd love to do it again one day.

On my wish list for many years what a brilliant way to celebrate a milestone birthday. An amazing experience and my admiration for the aircraft is beyond description. The design is 90 years old and still cannot be bettered.

My facination with aviation began as a small boy, when my Grandma took me to the airport in Butte, Montana to watch airplanes land and take off. She kindled my fire.

I have built and flown model airplanes starting at age 12 to the present in my retirement. It has always been my dream to fly a full scale airplane.

Now I have......a WW2 Spitfire.

Everything about the Aerial Collective Duxford has been first class. The staff made Louise and I feel very welcome.

Beth did a great job getting me ready for my flight, and Stu was born with a control yoke in his hand....what a pilot. He flys to work in his own Pitts Special, then hopes into a Spitfire. What a life. Jack was great with follow up and general communications.

The whole experience has been the best possible, and I highly recommend it to all.

Absolutely amazing experience for my grandads 98th birthday from start to finish. Jon the pilot was so lovely & down to earth, Lisa & Beth were super friendly - made us feel that nothing was too much trouble & there was even a birthday cake with candles & a card waiting for him on arrival. You made an old man very happy thank you so much to Jack & his team. X

When I am totally awestruck and speechless, the hair on my arms stands at attention. My formation flight in Spitfires (my daughter was the other wingman) left me awestruck and speechless for days. And it is the gift that keeps giving; just thinking of it and remembering THAT SOUND put the hairs back at attention.
The airfield and its history provided the perfect backdrop to relive history flying in the historic Spitfire. The entire team at Aerial Collective were consummate professionals, fully in tune with our excitement and good naturedly working to ensure our best experience. Stu Goldspink was my pilot, he flew his craft like it was an extension of his fingers. A true gentleman, he checked in multiple times and backed off on additional acrobatics when he sensed I was sprouting feathers.
I have been on other flights in the US (B-17, P-47) but this one surpassed my previous experiences by a long shot. If you love these planes and their history and want the ultimate flying experience, Aerial Collective out of Duxford is THE BEST way to go.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Friendly welcome, very clear and well presented briefing, great waiting area to watch and wonder as those before us head out to fly.... flight experience itself - 2 Spitfires, with my buddy in the other one - lots of formation flying, tail chasing, aeros and plenty of hands on... What's not to like?!!

From initial flight booking, to completion, everything was just perfect. Jack and the team at Aerial Collective were brilliant in ensuring we all had a wonderful time and my flight, which was my 85th birthday present, was just out of this world. Just the sound of the Rolls Royce Merlin bursting into life and then the actual flight was above my expectations. Thoroughly recommended to anyone wanting something to remember for the rest of their lives.

My dad and I were treated like superstars during our Spitfire Formation Flights. The team were amazing! Can't thank Jack, Callum, Beth and our fabulous pilots, Mike & Jon enough for an experience we will never forget. Worth every cent!

My Spitfire flight in August was so special. It was a 60th birthday treat from my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. To have Charlie Brown as my pilot really was the icing on the (birthday) cake!

You and your team made us all feel special and I really appreciate the extra touches, from the wax-sealed invitation, the informative and interesting briefing, to my one-to-one with Charlie before the flight - then the debrief and photo opportunities afterwards. The goody bag was a lovely touch, particularly the logbook, with the words "C Brown, Spitfire, Duxford and Aerobatics" on the same page!

The flight - WOW! I'll never forget a second of it. I kept telling myself "You're flying in a Spitfire!" while looking out at that glorious elliptical wing. The view from the raised canopy was superb and having control was wonderful. If I had to pick a highlight it would have to be the barrel roll, which as evidenced in the video, produced the 'Spitfire Smile' - the first time I've ever been upside down in an aeroplane - and the best one to do it in!

Although I was only in the air for 20 minutes, the relaxed pre-flight prep and post-flight 'warm down' extended the experience considerably. The videos are excellent and they prove it was not just an incredible dream.

Your wildest expectations cannot prepare you enough for a flip in a Spitfire!

In PV202 with Merlin, Mike Collett (PIC) and Me .... we had a ball. Aerobatics, time on the controls and painting the clouds, what an experience!

From entering the reception area to confirmation of receipt of video footage two weeks later, a truly professional team. Ill be back!

I came expecting a great day but it was a lot more than that. All of the staff were so welcoming and brilliant, Simon was like someone from Topgun (so the ladies tell me) The Barrel Roll was fantastic (even though my tummy was not so keen!) and being allowed to take control and carry out a 360 degree turn was beyond expectations. My son posted a short version of the flight on Facebook and it prompted very jealous responses from my golfing buddies.

I honestly can't praise Aerial Collective enough for enabling such an incredile opportunity of a life long dream to fly in a Spitfire. The end to end organisation and management of the experience was faultless, with every member of the Team clearly passionate in what they do and wanting to make it a special, memorable experience. Had the privilege to fly with David 'Rats' Ratcliffe who is just totally outstanding. Then the ground crew, Lisa and George, who were exceptional in keeping everything running so effectively and making me feel so welcome. Not forgetting the numerous behind the scenes Team members who do so much to keep everything running so well and of course keeping these incredible aircraft airworthy.

I flew in an aerial combat experience with Mike Collett in a Spitfire and Paul Bonhomme flew the ME109. This was the most thrilling experience of my life!!! I have been lucky enough to have flown in others, jets etc, a few weeks earlier I flew with Mike Collett in the Hurricane doing a similar aerial combat experience again with the ME109 tail chase. I remember back then saying to Mike “I’ll never be able to top that”. Then three weeks later on the 5th August i had another opportunity but this time in a Spitfire - Mike had other ideas - and crikey did he top my last fight…..I must say both pilots were great, the banter with each other was hilarious and such fun. I’ll never forget that day 5th August at Aerial Collective Duxford, the best experience ever!!!, the whole team were amazing the ladies on the ground that looked after me were so kind, friendly and helpful, this all added to making this day the most special one I have had. A big thank you to everyone. If there is anyone out there in two minds about doing this, don’t hesitate just book it and do it…..you never look back!!!’
