I like getting my information through the mail, I like the easy ways I can make my payments, by check through the mail, by phone, ETC. I have never had any problems with this company.

Acuity really does "care" about their…

Acuity really does "care" about their policyholders. The employees have been helpful, fair and courteous. And most important, I never have to "wait", for someone to answer the phone, for someone to explain my bill or for someone to pay a claim. This is as good as it gets and worth every penny.

Acuity has been a great experience

I was impressed that when I had a new roof installed, you sent me a partial credit for my insurance. That was unexpected. And at renewal, my rate was much better than I expected. For that I thank you.

You DON’T get what you pay for…

Three homes around us inspected by the exact same Roofer all had less damage than ours and yet your appraiser did not agree with our roofer’s findings and thus we were denied replacement coverage on the shingles. Reviewing this inconsistency with your Mr. Sabin and asking for a re-inspection was met with a curt “take us to arbitration.” Interestingly, the other three homes are not insured by Acuity. Guess being a very longtime customer paying $1,000s each year in policies won’t get you the protection one would expect…

I wrote two messages on the Acuity…

I wrote two messages on the Acuity website and never received a response. Some of auto rates increased in year 2 by large percentages.

Why does ACUITY have an email message function on their website??? My inquiry was related to the large increase in my auto rates. Why would an independent agency have this kind of knowledge related to rate increases. Acuity never replied to 2 separate inquiries.

Now my rating is only 1/2 star.

Acuity customer

I have been with Acuity, I believe since 2002. I have been pleased with my agent and the company. The past three years the increase in premiums has been unexpectedly high. I was not notified that there would be significant price increases by my agent, so the price increase was quite a disappointing shock to me.

Denied roof damage claim!

After a severe hailstorm, roof installer and roofing material manufacturer voided the warranty on my roof due to structural damage from hail. Acuity denied claim saying it was only cosmetic damage. I doubt their 3rd party inspector knows more about the roof than the installer and the manufacturer!

While we have never had any claims, the consistency of price has been very good, and have always thought that our Auto and home insurance have been priced fairly.
