Defective sofa on arrival and very poor customer service
The initial ordering process for the sofa was straightforward and felt positive at the time. However, when the sofa arrived it was defective and not of satisfactory quality.
Getting any real response from customer service took almost a week. Contacting them has been extremely difficult — there appears to be no way to speak to anyone directly by phone, which has made the whole process frustrating and slow.
I will update this review once the issue has been resolved to a satisfactory standard.

Awful service from start to finish, ordered a settee mid September, promised delivery on 7th October and did not turn up, no call back from staff, customer service awful! Settee arrived 14th October and the settee is great but the service was shocking

Sales in shop were great, delivery perfect but after sales absolutely disgraceful, don’t give a hoot, not even replying now

I just wanna say thanks to Jay and Andy for the great customer service.

I was on my way to another shop to order some sofas but thought I would call into abode on the way and I am so glad I did. Even though it was half an hour before closing time the staff were extremely helpful and I ordered virtually the same sofas but instead of a six week wait I could have had them in two days! I changed it to a more convenient day and when they brought the new sofas they took away the old ones and even with the costs for delivery and taking them away the whole lot came to less than I would have paid at the other shop for just the sofas. I am very satisfied with abode and I highly recommend this company.

Superb staff and great furniture

Went to the show room Sunday midday got text same day saying that we can do delivery next Tuesday,Great service and fast delivery the guys put the sofa together and took all of the packaging A1 service thanks guys

Absolutely shocking, middle section delivered today(as the one we received was incorrect) and the section today the right one did not fit! The guys who delivered was great but they could also see that it did not fit! Took pictures where you can see fingers in between!
Paid extra for care package, informed that stitching it’s coming apart but still nothing. We purchased our sofa in August 2026 and so much trouble and poor assistance

We traveled from west Yorkshire to Manchester We had seen the corner unit on the web site which we liked just wanted to make sure. We arrived looked at the corner unit which was nice but we couldn't make our mind up on color Josh the sales person was very helpful and polite all the way through. We finally made our mind up and started the paper work and half way through i changed my mind and went for a cream 3 and 1 suite so josh had to start again. This was no trouble that was Monday we got our furniture on Friday brilliant. This shop is worth visiting. A big thank u to Josh.

Jay and andy arrived on time and removed our old sofa and delivered our new one. They were very professional and efficient. Extremely pleased with the service provided would recommend to anyone. Thanks again both. very happy customer
