Excellent car dealership

I bought an Audi Etron from Quirks. From the first time I called to enquire about the car, I got a good feel for them as a company. I was nervous as I haven't bought a used car for more than 15 years as I have bought new from main dealers, but Peter was great to deal with and put me at ease, so much so that I travelled all the way from Sheffield to Essex to collect the car. The guys at Quirks collected me from the train station and the transaction was very smooth with no issues at all. The car is great and we would buy from them again. Thank you Peter and the team!

Great communication throughout.
Everything happened how they said it would, turned up on time and provided me with a perfect like for like car.

They don’t honour the price match if it is with Loveholidays

I booked the holiday and within a few hours it had dropped on Loveholidays by more than £150 (the price of the holidays I booked was £8,058 by the way). I contacted them through the price promise and I was told “I have reviewed your booking and the details you have provided and am able to inform you that on this occasion your request is not eligible for Price Match.

This is because as per the terms on the price match - (Your existing loveholidays booking cannot be price matched with another package from loveholidays.)”

This I feel is unfair and not how a customer should be treat. Loveholidays can point me in the direction of their terms and conditions as much as they want, no one reads them when they are buying something and definitely not when booking a holiday.

I just don’t feel that I was valued as a customer and treat fairly or as someone should be. The fact is that the price of the exact same holiday was reduced within hours and they should offer us the reduction the same as the price match promise if I had found the holiday on Tui, On The Beach or similar.

Thank you for your feedback. I completely understand how frustrating it is to see the price drop after booking, and I’m sorry this has left you feeling disappointed.

The Price Match Guarantee only applies when the same holiday is found cheaper through another travel provider, not on loveholidays itself and submitted within 24 hours. I understand this might not be what you expected, but it is outlined in the terms and conditions - https://tinyurl.com/453kdfdn. This is clearly explained, and while we understand that many people don’t always read the full terms and conditions, we do always recommend doing so before booking to avoid any surprises later on.
