Delay in tickets issued for flight booking

No tickets issued for flight booking, despite order confirmation email over 24 hours ago, and despite getting in touch with customer service to issue the flight tickets. Not a good level of service, and should have used another provider instead.

Update: Tickets were eventually issued over 48 hours later from the time and date of booking without any email or notification. Had to get in touch at least 3 times with lastminute before this happened. Not the best experience.

Extremely Disappointing Experience &…

Extremely Disappointing Experience & Poor Customer Care

I had a deeply disappointing experience flying with Qatar Airways from London to Doha on 17th June and 3 other journeys within the space of 2 weeks. For an airline that claims to be “
'the world’s best' the basic standards of onboard service and customer care were shockingly poor.

Firstly, the beverages served on board (specifically the orange and apple juice) were not juice. They were artificial sugary beverages —
not juice. They were so excessively sweet and artificial they were undrinkable. This is far below what you'd expect from any standard airline, let alone one that is supposed to be top-rated.

Secondly, the USB charging port at my seat and others next to me were practically useless. On a 7-hour flight, and other subsequent flights, my phone charged less than 10% despite being plugged in for the full duration of the flight. These charging facilities are important on long-haul journeys, and the failure to provide functioning outlets shows a serious lack of attention to passenger needs.

I raised a formal complaint to Qatar Airways and made it very clear that these issues weren’t feedback but failures that needed to be properly investigated and responded to. What I received in return was a series of generic, dismissive replies, repeatedly stating my comments were "noted" and forwarded to the relevant team with no apology, no explanation, no investigation.

Even after I followed up and requested for a proper response to the complaint, the airline still did nothing. There was no sense of accountability at any stage.

It’s clear that Qatar Airways treats legitimate customer complaints with indifference and prefers to issue templated responses rather than take ownership of failures. This experience has severely damaged my trust in their brand, and I will rethink flying with them in the future and fly with a different airline next time.

I would give Dr Care Anywhere zero…

I would give Dr Care Anywhere zero stars if I could. This service is completely unreliable and shows a total disregard for patients and their care. Without any prior notice or warning, they stopped my ability to book GP appointments, leaving me in a vulnerable position without the GP care I urgently needed.

Despite still paying for their services, they have failed to provide any care whatsoever and have simply stopped my account from working. It's clear that they do not care about their patients and are only interested in taking your money. Avoid this service at all costs.

Bad Customer Service by Zara Gentles

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received from Accessorize, specifically from an agent named Zara Gentles. I was promised a refund over the phone from an advisor in August which I never received. When I raised a complaint regarding this, Zara refused to deal with the complaint and refused to listen to the call recording to verify what the agent had said.

Also, when I requested for my personal information via a Subject Access Request, they failed to provide it to me. This is not only poor customer service but also a breach of data protection regulations.

Overall, my experience with Accessorize has been poor and unsatisfactory. I would not advise anyone to shop with them.

Worst credit card company in the UK. Completely unreliable.

I have now had their card for over a year, and I have had enough time to give a review based on my experience. I can definitely say without any doubt, that this is the worst credit card provider in the UK and I would not recommend for anyone to open a credit card with this company. Virgin Money does not care about it's customers, the level of professionalism from the bank is poor, terrible shortage of staff and terrible delays spanning months, with poor quality of handling issues. Their telephone lines is one of the reasons why the level of service provided is so poor, and that comes down to staff handling. If something goes wrong with a purchase made on your credit card, not only will the bank not help you to get your money back and abandon you, wasted 10 months of my time doing absolutely nothing. They will not help you to get your money back and they will leave you in financial difficulty and at a financial detriment. There are many good credit card providers in the UK, but Virgin Credit card is not one of them. Please avoid and save yourself the hassle.

Poor customer service from an agent…

Poor customer service from an agent called Sanele. I got in touch with customer service as I realised online they were charging for generating a return label even for a faulty item. Got in touch via their live chat this morning to try and get the issue resolved in relation to my order that I received yesterday to have this returned, and this was not resolved by the agent, and the agent in question did not understand what the word dented meant. Quite appalling customer service. Situation is still unresolved and I still have not got my return label.

Customer service has really degraded…

Customer service has really degraded and has gotten significantly worse. I received a damaged item almost 10 days ago which I reported on the same day, but the issue still has not been resolved. Sent 2 emails several days ago and still has still been no response. John Lewis does not care about its customers. They do not resolve problems when they deliver your item damaged, and they do not respond to emails when you log a complaint. Would not recommend for anyone to shop at John Lewis and better off shopping at a more reputable retailer with better customer service.

Don't waste your time speaking to…

Don't waste your time speaking to Express Solicitors. They will not help you and just wasted my time over the phone to then tell me the next day they don't deal this with these types of cases when the agent on the phone didn't mentioned this the previous day and made me give all of my personal information. Waste of time.

Need to raise this issue as the issue…

Need to raise this issue as the issue is not being addressed or dealt with. There has been no response on their WhatsApp chat service for almost 2 weeks. I need to get my issues resolved on there but there is no response to messages and no one seems to be manning the WhatsApp chat for a very long time now which is really unprofessional. This is not the kind of experience that we would expect from a designer brand. Even the non designer shops are managing this better than Coach is. If you are not going to manage the Coach WhatsApp chat and attend to customers messages and respond then you should be closing down the service as it is currently wholely inadequate with no response.

Customer service has gotten…

Customer service has gotten substantially bad. I'm being owed 3 cheques which I was told would be sent out almost a month ago which still have not arrived and I believe we're never sent in the first place. They have been making a lot of errors and mistakes lately and level of service has been really questionable. I would not recommend AXA to anyone and would suggest looking into alternatives.

Service was mis-sold and misdescribed…

Service was mis-sold and misdescribed on the Hoppa website and displayed inaccurate information about the service during the booking process which needs to be rectified. Described the shuttle service as 0 stops while making the booking, then after making the booking described it as a 4 stop shuttle service. Not good. This needs to be rectified to not mislead customers, as this was misleading advertising.

The main issue that they need to work…

The main issue that they need to work on is refunds. Michael Kors holds onto your money for far too long and takes forever to issue your refunds. Slowest company I have ever encountered for refunds. Have called and sent emails to chase this up and no has done anything to issue the refunds even though they received the items back ages ago. I am still waiting for 4 orders to be refunded. I am writing this review to highlight this issue so that they can improve their refund processing time and issue their refunds as soon as Royal Mail delivers the item back to them like most companies.

Not a good company when things go…

Customer service needs improving. Main issue is that they won't help you without a photo, so if you don't send them a picture, they won't resolve the issue that you need help with. This is problematic if you do not have a smartphone, so I think this needs to be taken into account moving forward to improve the customer experience as not everyone has a smartphone.

Eventually managed to get my issue resolved but it took a long time and several conversations to finally get resolved.

I have been a customer with them for…

I have been a customer with them for over 4 years. In the initial years the service was quite good. However within the last year or so, the customer service has really gone downhill at this company. Opening a chargeback is very difficult now, so you are not protected as a consumer when using this card anymore. It is better to use a card with a high street bank who will actually raise a dispute if you have an issue with an item you have purchased. Monzo do not own up to their mistakes when their staff make mistakes by saying and doing the wrong thing. And they don't deal with complaints as well as the high street banks do. Before people used to think that they were better than the high street banks, but now they have gone backwards and now the high street banks are delivering a better level of service than Monzo. Terrible.

Wasted my time

Wasted my time. Opened my case, sent the approval documents and said that they were happy to take it on. Within 4 days they just sent me an email saying that they would be closing my case file. What a waste of time. Would not recommend this company. I now have to start looking for another solicitor.

Terrible service

Terrible service. I have medications from December that still have not been sent out. They promise you callbacks and emails of getting back in touch with you which they don't end up fulfilling their promises. This is particularly in regards to the dispensary team at Simple Online Pharmacy who are responsible for sending out medications. Not very reliable and would not recommend using this company for your prescriptions. I must point out there has been a particularly noticeable degradation of service provided by the company since December and the company is putting the health of patients at risk by not providing patients with their medications in a timely fashion. Would recommend using another pharmacy for your medication and repeat prescriptions. Not a professional company.

Telephone Customer Service Needs Improvement

This review is particularly regarding the customer service team at Smile Direct Club on the telephone which needs improving significantly. I was promised compensation of an amount for inconvenience caused by a member of staff a few weeks ago. I was told I would receive it within 2-10 business days of the date of the call. This was supposed to have been received by today and still it has not been fully processed. From speaking to customer service, it turns out they only processed it the last week when I called to chase up the situation. Really poor service as it meant the initial member of staff from the several weeks ago had not initiated the amount until I called to chase it up and find out when they were going to send it. Really poor service. This is not the kind of customer service that should be provided to customers. Needs to be improved.

Wrong manual was in the box

Wrong manual was in the box, not the right one for my item which made assembling more difficult. In addition there was no health and safety instructions like you would have on most manuals and as a result injured two of my fingers, two of my fingers got caught in the frame whilst assembling the item with a lot of blood and wound to my fingers. The manual definitely needs to have health and safety instructions, and I would advise users to assemble the frame with thick gloves on you hands to prevent injury to your fingers.

I think there could also be better transparency also with the pricing by having an 'include VAT' toggle on the website so that you know exactly what you're paying including VAT before going to the main payment section. Price of my item went up by an additional £20.

***Update: I see the company has not addressed the most important part of this review which was the health and safety aspect raised in this review.

There was no health and safety instructions like you would have on most manuals and as a result injured two of my fingers, two of my fingers got caught in the frame whilst assembling the item with a lot of blood and wound to my fingers. The manual definitely needs to have health and safety instructions.

This is a legal requirement for goods sold in the UK, so I will have to escalate the matter further with the Office for Product Safety and Standards.
