Extremely stressful, refund only via chargeback

I ordered from Allzone on 13 November 2025. The experience that followed was weeks of stress, time-wasting, and uncertainty.

A shipping label was created with GLS, but the courier never received the parcel. No delivery ever happened. Despite this, I was repeatedly given vague updates and shifting explanations.

When I cancelled the order and asked for a refund, I was:
-Offered store credit instead of a refund
-Given no clear timeline for getting my money back
-Sent long emails full of generic wording but no concrete action

I spent hours:
-Chasing emails
-Taking screenshots
-Reading consumer advice
-Contacting my bank
-Stressing about whether I’d ever see my money again

Eventually, the only way I got my money back was by raising a Visa chargeback through my bank. Allzone later admitted they could not refund directly and told me to do a chargeback instead.

I did finally get my money back on 30th January 2026 — but only after weeks of emotional energy, admin, and anxiety. A legitimate retailer should not require customers to involve their bank to recover funds for goods that were never delivered.

I would strongly advise others to avoid Allzone unless you’re prepared for delays, unclear communication, and having to fight for your refund.

Unresponsive, poor customer service

My bicycle lock was confiscated from me at Birmingham airport. I was told it would be given to Luggage Point and given a reference number. I filled in Luggage Point's online form with my details and heard nothing back. I left a review on Google maps which was responded to by Luggage Point. They provided an email address. I emailed and got a response to which I replied with the details they requested to send me my bike lock. I have not had a response to my email after chasing twice over the last month.

Cheap but do check condition of car

Just make sure you inspect the car when you check it out. They will have bright lamps when you check the car in to pick up on any damage, these lamps won't be offered to you on check out if it is dark. Less friendly staff/professional in general than other hirers but a lot cheaper

We use these lights when customers are picking up a vehicle to identify any damage on the car prior to it leaving the rental station, this is to ensure that all damage is recorded so that when the vehicle is returned only new damages are added to the record.
