Non existent customer service. 👎
I bought 2 Adventuridge camping chairs last June, but due to Covid and home renovations we weren’t able to use them until last week. The first one broke after 3 days, the second broke the following day. Adventuridge is a brand commissioned and sold exclusively by Aldi. I telephoned Aldi Customer Services when we returned home, but according the agent I spoke to, these chairs have no warranty other than the 60 day warranty - the agent didn’t even know the difference between their 60 day change of mind returns policy and a warranty. I asked to speak to a manager but there was no manager available? and I was assured I would get a call back from a manager within 4 hours, nobody phoned. I emailed Customer Services but other than an auto acknowledgment email they haven’t bothered to reply, I forwarded my email to the CEO’s office but again other than the auto acknowledgement email Aldi haven’t bothered to reply.
It is really sad to see this Company going downhill so fast, I used to think Aldi were great, their food products were great quality and good value and their staff were efficient and polite, it’s so different since the pandemic and the Company are being let down by their Customer Services Department, they are unprofessional, uninformed, untrained and unhelpful.
The Adventuridge chairs have no warranty information on the label, they merely state: Made in China for Aldi.
Why are Aldi selling products without any warranty - are they commissioning and selling products of such poor quality they won’t offer a warranty in case they are buried under the amount of claims and complaints?
Come on Aldi, sort out your Customer Service Department, they are dragging your Company down and letting down your customers, learn from the now defunct retail Companies, no retail Company is too big to fail, ignore all these reviews at your peril!! Poor show Aldi!
