I completed the purchase of my new Audi S3 saloon at Lookers Stirling yesterday having dealt with Kevin my salesman and James the Sales Manager.

This is the 5th Audi dealership that I have purchased from over the years and I have to say the experience was exceptional - by far the best transaction from purchase to handover I have ever experienced.

Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and was a pleasure to deal with from organising a test drive on my first visit through to seamlessly handling every step of the transaction.
James kindly got involved to locate and secure the specific colour and spec of car for me and did everything possible to ensure that I was happy with the deal.

I ordered Acupanel slat panels from WoodUpp for 2 projects recently - Natural Oak for my TV room and Blue Oxide for my Hifi room.

I have some Origin bi-fold doors that were purchased through Ekco over 2 years ago but were installed by my builders.
I’ve had cause to contact Ekco twice now for an issue with the installation and secondly more recently for a flaw in one of the glass panels. Despite the issues not being directly related to anything that Ekco did, when I contacted them their representative Karen, dealt with my enquiry promptly and professionally and quickly arranged for their installers to attend. Gary and Dave replaced the glass without any hassle and took the time to check and oil the locks and hinges on both sets of bi-folds. Thanks all at Ekco for your great service!

** This is a significantly edited version of a review I posted earlier today.......since 3 hours after posting the review my cartridge arrived a few days later than promised! **

I approached Scott at SNVinyl on 17th January 2018 about another Audio Technica cartridge and after receiving his advice I opted for an AT ART9 instead and at about £200 cheaper than I’ve seen anywhere else. Scott said he had it in stock in and even told me about making a trip that same day to install one for another client. He also promised that the item would be shipped the next day.

So far so good...but a couple of days passed and it became increasingly difficult to get an answer from SNVinyl about availability and delivery. I really started to worry and feared the worst when I read the reviews on here and ultimately sent a snotty note to Scott saying that I had lost faith and was cancelling my order. I eventually got a note back advising that he’d had a day off and my shipping details would follow shortly which given what I had read here I was reluctant to believe!

Well the promised date for the shipping details to be provided came and went and so I lost all hope and had given up, I’d even contacted my credit card provider to claim a charge back.

Imagine my surprise then when the promised item arrived today out of the blue after 8 days rather than the promised 3 days! The item was unopened and in perfect condition and sound absolutely brilliant on my LP12, far more musical than the Lyra Delos it replaced, even straight out of the box!

So what can I say about SNVinyl? Great product recommendation and super pricing but spoilt by poor communications and lack of responsiveness. Scott could easily have achieved 5 stars but things need to be better resolved so I’m rating the experience 3 stars even though I am ultimately delighted with the purchase if not with the overall experience.

We visited Sofology today not really sure about our wants and needs and needing some support and advice and we found that and more from a lovely lady called Corina McLeod.
She did everything possible to ensure that we were comfortable, relaxed and informed about the sofas we were interested in. Corina really helped to turn a browsing visit into a buying experience and left us feeling very happy about our purchase.

It was a very fair and easy process, Mark was a top bloke and did everything he said he would. Payment was received bang on time.

I bought a special order 1.5m pair of Chord interconnects which weren't a great match for my system and despite being just outside the 60 day no quibble return period, Steve Reynolds kindly agreed to an exchange. He was a pleasure to deal with and made the whole experience exceptional.

On each order the communications were first class and the turn around time exceeded my expectations.

I will definitely use Hificables again.
