Poor standards of service and the lack of quality work.
I took my car in for repair to the rear bumper on Wednesday 18th March, which I had to leave with them for a total of three days, i received a call on Friday morning from Kirsty to advise my car would be ready for collection just after 1100 am. When I arrived i found myself waiting for almost an hour as my car was not actually ready. During my wait I was told that my car was being washed. After the hour wait the car was finally ready, upon hand over I found a large dollop of bird poo down the drivers side of the window of my car, which I was told must have just happened. One day after collection i have now noted that the rear bumper of the car is not actually fitted properly with screws on both sides of the vehicle that hold the bumper are not properly secured and all four screws are sticking out. How can this be allowed surely the work must be signed off before being released back to the customer. On calling kia again today I was advised that Kirsty, the person that handles vehicle repairs was not on shift therefore no further action could be provided until Monday when they will get her to give me a telephone call. I am now driving a car where the bumper could potentially fall off, without any resolution given today to fix. I am now going to have spend another one of my days at kia stockport trying to resolve this issue ! Which i have already paid for. The team at kia are very good at selling your a product but their after sales is very poor. No consideration made for the inconvenience caused or the risk that the bumper could fall off my car. As my car was being left for the repair I was provided with a car that was in a dirty state and which I was charged £25 per day for the privilege. On top of all this I feel I must highlight that when attempting to get a vehicle either in or out of forecourt is a total nightmare and a disgrace due to the fact that there is never anywhere where you can park without dodging other vehicles which a just left parked everywhere, A potential accident waiting to happen. A totally unacceptable service, I will definitely think twice before purchasing a vehicle from this branch again in the future or for using them for any future repairs.
