I had a great experience in the past but.

I had a great experience with Swinton in previous years, unfortunately for me on trying to take on a new car insurance.

The staff member that took my details miss out a claim I informed her off and used my current insurer. I highlighted this but she still proceeded.

She took my money for the renewal.

Unfortunately for me my new insurance was flagged with swinton and because of this mistake, my insurance was increased from 1090 to 1700.

I said no thanks and ask for a same day refund, as I was at the point of all quotes becoming higher than the lower end and had no spare cash.

I had to wait 4 days for the refund.

Luckily my daughter saved the day, so I could pay for an alternative insurance.

I'm sure this was a one off! but Swinton is a red flag for me in future.
