I booked this repair for my Delonghi…

I booked this repair for my Delonghi oven as the date committed to by the supplier was the one I needed. I paid my £145.00 automatically and then subsequently found out that they could not meet the date of the 19th (so no oven then). I asked for my money back and was told it would take four days so my choice was limited. The new date was booked for 23.02.26 - guess what? you guessed right no update, no engineer and no repair. My £145.00 however is still in repaircare's bank account. So? I've now sourced the part myself for the princely sum of £21.00 + postage and just hope it is the correct one? In short, they have your money and that is where the story ends. Its the same old, same old contracted out to one company and another so you lose track and have zero idea who your contract is actually with. In fairness the ladies employed to soothe your complaints are lovely, but that's it. This is simply (in my case anyway) just we have your money now you will do what we say.... Time for a re-think Repaircare.
