22 days to refund?!!

22 days to refund?!! Rixo received my return on April 10th; today, April 22nd, they email me (after endless attempts to chase up) to inform me they are now « processing » my refund (eh? What have they been doing for the last 12 days?!?). They go on to say that it may take up to 10 days to reach my account… This means it will have taken 22 days to refund me. This is UNACCEPTABLE, especially when other retailers — large and small — are able to refund almost immediately upon receipt of returned goods, and turnaround times are getting ever faster. One lost customer.

We do our best to clearly communicate that returns can take up to 10 working days to be processed, though we always do always try our very best to complete them well before that. The email you received today was to let you know that your return has been fully processed and closed on our end. In that email, we mention that it may take up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account. This is due to varying bank processing times and is unfortunately completely outside of our control. That said, most customers do receive their funds much sooner, usually within 3 days.

We’re really sorry again for any disappointment or frustration this may have caused. While we're sorry this purchase didn’t work out, we truly hope it won’t stop you from shopping with us in the future.
