Save your money!

I was full of hope for a new way to lose weight in a full supported online community and couldn’t wait to get started. My first mistake was not reading any reviews. I allowed myself to be caught up in the social media ‘hype’ and didn’t bother looking at what is a growing list of complaints from others, that would entirely match my own.
When I enquired about the plan initially I was concerned that ‘support’ was on Facebook, because I’d taken myself off FB some months before and didn’t want to go back, however, I was assured that I would be fully supported via Email. Needless to say, that didn’t happen.
Instead, like all the others, I was deluged with nonsense, boring, repetitive, emails and expected to watch unnecessarily long, nonsensical, boring, repetitive videos that were really hard to engage with and fill in paper emotion trackers for what purpose?
In week three I was already wondering why I’d signed up.
I eventually had to reopen my FB account
and join the “academy” to try to get any help or further information, but it was useless. Apart from Lois (who was swamped with questions) who tried her best to help hundreds of us, answers weren’t forthcoming and you quickly felt bullied by the ‘huns’ if you weren’t playing along. As SO many others have said, all you got in reply was ‘trust the process’ and to begin with you do, despite feeling my calories were set WAY too high. I lost an odd centimetre but really just gained weight and felt worse and worse about myself, but we’d been promised emotional support. Where was it? As the weeks went by and I vented my disappointment at how it (wasn’t) going, I found that there was no help at all and my questions seemed to constantly go missing.
I got completely fed up of logging into to FB to find the academy was endlessly full of the same questions over and over and over and it was crystal clear that the plan wasn’t working for just about everyone. How could that be? We were trusting the process but the process wasn’t working. I just became more and more disillusioned.
I rarely logged into the lives because after the first couple of weeks I couldn’t bear the horror show and the constant burping, nasty comments and unbelievably unprofessional manner they were delivered in. Everyone else was to blame for everything and HE was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Absolutely appalling behaviour and we were paying him!
What finally pushed me over the edge though, was that it very quickly became apparent that he was happy to give away for free all the “tailored” (it absolutely isn’t) information that hundreds of us were paying for. Why had we bothered??? All the promises made about what was upcoming and of extras for paying clients, none of it materialised and in reality everything was available for free.
I’d wasted SO much money on a “cookery book” which was dreadful rubbish and 16 weeks of unsupported nonsense, I couldn’t wait to get out.
Please, please, please KEEP YOUR MONEY. Don’t waste a penny or a second of your time on this absolute scam.
Everything you need is already out there for free.
This has been a very expensive lesson and I’m annoyed with myself for being taken in by this grade A charlatan. DON’T DO IT.
