Oh my word- excellent!
Oh my word - this is an extremely good company and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. Our puppy Louie was spooked by a motorcyclist and damaged the lease car's boot. It took a long time to repair and was complex. The excellent team (special mention to Lauren) were so supportive. I was very impressed. I have bought a car now, but if I return to leasing, this firm will be my first port of call. Well done, Zenauto

Charges / Great customer service
I had a relatively smooth experience with Zen Auto.
The arrangement of drop off and collection were very well organised.
I had some issues at the end of my agreement where I felt the charges for wear and tear were high.
I made the company aware I was upset with the charges and delivery of the notice, and Nick contacted me to give me a great explanation as well as reassurance, he was also open for us to reach a much more reasonable middle ground.
He was a total asset to the company and I would honestly recommend zen auto after my experience with him and their flexibility.
I would just check out the wear and tear guidelines so you’re fully aware if you grab a car on lease.

I have to say I was really surprised how easy zenith make everything. Was sceptical about leasing but, I am now onto my next vehicle with them. Top service.

Easy process
I placed the order from Zen Auto through Leaseloco originally. Was my first lease car with a company. I usually went through arnold clark or direct with the manufacturers.
Process was easy and simple enough. Felt almost too simple. Car took a few months to come which was fine as I was still in my lease period for car I had. I was kept up to date with information. Car arrived and zen held it for me untill my current lease ended. The delivery of the car was late- this wasnt zenautos fault, it did however mean I was left without a car when my previous lease had been collected. However zen provided me with a hire car until my new car was delivered to ensure I was kept on the road.
3 year lease went by quickly I was very happy with the experience I had received so was more than happy to take out another lease when my contract ended. This didn't happen tho as the cost for a new lease was sky high. Upfront payment was extortionate and when I questioned it I was told the prices were in line with current pricing. Due to this I went with another company and got the car I was interested in for less than half of what zenauto were wanting to charge.
Car was collected by a company and was driven to Zenauto- i originally wasn't keen on this as anything could happen. But collection company took pictures etc and all was good.
The car tax increase that was added to the contract cost I unfortunately had to chase up for a refund as it seemed I was forgotten about . When I contacted customer service they dealt with it promptly and issued an apology.
Over all very happy with the ease of ordering and had very little hassle. If zens prices were more affordable I would return in the future

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I have previously left Zen Auto 5 stars as signing up with them is easy and painless. Returning a car after being with them however, is a horrific experience. I am posting a new review so that it is at the top of the ‘most recent’ filter.
Their OWN WEBSITE states that fair wear and tear applies and that they factor in age of the car when taking it back. THIS IS ALL NONSENSE. THEY WILL TRY TO BLEED YOU DRY WHEN YOU GIVE THE CAR BACK. Just check out the other reviews! At least this proves a pattern and will make escalating this complaint easier, which I intend to do.
The collection company they used noted marks on the car and told us that it was in great condition for a 4 year old car. They said they couldn’t see any issues with the car at all.
Zen Auto then came back and tried to charge for an outstanding service (which was actually done, and after this was pointed out they deducted it from the charges) plus damage from ‘bird droppings’ which wasn’t even noted on the collection! To make matters worse, they had already sold the car (which wouldn’t have been affected in the slightest by the ‘damage’ Zen Auto were trying to claim for). So an independent quote for the ‘damage’ couldn’t be obtained. The ‘damage’ could have easily been buffed out by a valet company (which it probably was before being sold on).
Pointing all of this out, and asking them to compare to the collection report, they said they’d investigate. We heard nothing for months, until they attempted to collect the fictitious outstanding balance they’d made up.

Quick and easy process
Applied on line and followed all the steps selecting car. The application was very straightforward and completed quickly.
Zen.auto communication throughout the process was quick and easy to understand. This will be our third car from Zen.auto and would highly recommend them.

Zen Auto are a very easy company to deal with, the management of the car is taken care of from the application process to disposal. I have had two cars with Zen Auto and would look nowhere else, they are very easy to deal with and if there are issues they own them and resolve them very quickly. They are easy to contact and they do what they say they will. I can highly recommend them, car number three will also be from Zen Auto without doubt.

I’ve had my lease vehicle for 2 and a…
I’ve had my lease vehicle for 2 and a half years now and every time I call I get great service. Wait times when you call are pretty much no existent , which in this day and age is impressive. I’ve booked in 2 services and an MOT with no issues. I claimed for 2 new tyres under my maintenance plan and did even have to drive anywhere to have them done. Mobile service. I have been leasing cars since 2015 from various lease companies and Zen Auto has been by far the best. When this car is due to go back I will be leasing another from them. Cost permitting (please get me a good deal lol) Have to mention Wessex Garages in this review as I was due to drop the car off at 9am for MOT and service. At 10.30 I remembered. Called and the lady I spoke to was so understanding. 5 star review all round

A great experience
This was the first time I had leased a car, and the service I received from ZenAuto was second to none! Everything went smoothly and efficiently, the pricing was very competitive and whenever I had occasion to speak to anyone at ZenAuto they were always extremely helpful and, at the same time, very professional. My circumstances changed and I no longer need to lease a car, but even handing back the car was a seamless procedure! I would unhesitatingly recommend ZenAuto, and if I ever need to lease again, ZenAuto will definitely be top of my list!

Communication is horrific
Trying to renew a lease with them after having two cars with them previously and getting absolutely nowhere. Should have learned my lesson after the first time I renewed with them when a manager had to get involved to find out why nobody was replying. Getting anyone to reply to emails or web enquiry forms is impossible, even when you're actually trying to give them more business! When someone finally replies days or weeks later you'll just be told that they can't see any of your previous emails or enquiries.
Gave them a chance previously and even stuck with them despite not being particularly cheap compared to other companies but any goodwill has well and truly gone now. Nobody seems to care and obviously have no internal system in place of ensuring that customer emails or web enquiry forms are replied to.
Edit: Just to deal with the two outright lies in your response. You didn't reply to my web enquiry, in fact I was told by yourselves that no web enquiry had been received -
"Hi Christian,
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately, I cannot see a contact form that has come through for you.
I apologise for this, how can I help?
Many thanks,
Lauren"
Even this was received over 3 days after my email (Fri, 21 Feb at 15:37) and (Mon, 24 Feb at 17:20).
Secondly, my most recent email wasn't "earlier this week" it was sent last week on Thu, 20 Mar at 19:02 and I've clearly only received a reply today on the back of this Trustpilot review otherwise who knows when you'd have got in touch.
Telling blatant lies about me to somehow deflect any of my criticism isn't a good look. At least try to get your facts right if publicly smearing your customers is your way of dealing with negative reviews.

I had some issues but I love my new car!!
I received my car on 15/04/2025 and couldn’t be happier with it!!
I initially had a lot of problems getting the car of which some were and some were not in Zen Auto’s control (the car took 8 months to come after being quoted 3-4 weeks).
I was very unhappy with my experience but Zen Auto put this right by providing a courtesy car and they started a complaints procedure for me. The team dealing with my case were also very nice and very helpful throughout. I ended up getting compensation that I was happy with and I am finally in my car! Overall, I would now consider leasing with Zen Auto again.
