Yellow pages has been an issue for number of years! We cancelled years ago and they deny it and keep sending us invoices even after cancelleation and it's been years since we shut the business down and still sending invoices for service we never used and cancelled.
Yellow pages has been an issue since the 90s we stayed away from but the sales person was nice and then very pushy.
They drained our bank accounts.

This Company and its sales team are a bunch of liars and scammers. I will be taking them to court over a contract I never signed. Just look at there rating at BBB or any reviews other than the ones on there website. If you hear the name Sonny or Adrain in the Vancouver/B.C area hang up

I made the mistake of trusting Yellow Pages with my business listing, and it was a nightmare. They promised the world but delivered nothing. My Google rankings plummeted after partnering with them.

Despite their failure to deliver, they continued to charge me and threatened to send me to collections. The constant calls were harassing. It's clear they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction.

## Sneaky Auto-Renewal Policy
Yellow Pages auto-renews contracts 45 days prior to expiry, and if you miss this window, you're locked into another year of overpriced services. When I tried to cancel, they made it incredibly difficult.

## Mafia-Like Business Tactics
Their business practices are predatory and deceptive. I urge others to avoid Yellow Pages at all costs. If you're considering their services, think twice. Protect your business from their exploitative tactics.

He guided me thrugh the issues I have with changing our complimentary yellow pages entry to update our business address for Sydney Business Web. This is critical for us with Google - they require full consistency across all platforms.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Yellow Pages unless you want to deal with a company that lies, manipulates, and traps customers into unfair contracts.

When we signed up, a salesperson assured us that if our business shut down, Yellow Pages would discontinue services and stop charging us. However, when we needed them to honor this commitment, they blatantly denied it. We provided proof that our business had closed and requested to stop charges from as per their previous confirmation, but instead of respecting this, they launched an “investigation” only to come back and claim they found no evidence of the sales person's statements.

Their contracts are highly deceptive – requiring 45 days' notice to cancel, or else they automatically renew into a 12-month contract! Who does this in Canada? This is nothing short of a scam to trap customers. I’ve never encountered such terrible service, unresponsive customer support, and outright dishonesty.

Despite multiple emails and clear proof of our business closure, we’ve been met with lies, delays, and refusal to re-investigate our case properly. Every representative we dealt with seemed inexperienced, evasive, and more focused on covering up their mistakes than helping customers.

We even offered to pay for the period we used, but they refuse to stop billing us beyond that—even when there’s no business to advertise! This is nothing but a money-grabbing scheme.

If you’re considering advertising with Yellow Pages—DON’T. They will trap you in unfair contracts, refuse to honor verbal commitments, and make it nearly impossible to cancel. Their business model is built on manipulation, not customer service.

Avoid them at all costs!

They come advertising helping your business. Offer a trial service and don't tell you it's a one year "trial". Bill you for not providing ANY VALUE and then come around with telling you your first agent that sold you the marketing plan no longer works with them and assign you a new one who knows comes to sell you a "better" deal to tie you again to another year of providing ZERO VALUE.

Avoid this company. There are better ways to waste money than use YELLOW PAGES.

They think it's marketing but this is clearly a well run scam in broad daylight

They also "record calls" . Ask for your call logs and it takes them a day or a week as they say where they edit your call logs to fit their narrative .

Visit their google page or search on goggle maps for Yellow pages Canada and drop the real reviews to save others

Scam Alert – Avoid This Company

Yellow Pages is nothing but a scam. They keep calling me and told me that if i change my mind i can cancel the contract in 3 months. so i told them of.
they saig that they will do the contract over the phone and send me a hard copy in my email. the next day i call them and told them this is not for me to cancel this contract. no one call me back.
i assume this as looked after. i keep get a statement to pay this out standing balance.
i call the back several times on the phone and spend hours. they said i need to contact the person who i did the contract with. no one call me back.
now my balance is 1381.00 and they send me to this
CTL law firm. they call me and said that i own yellow page 4991.92 and i need to pay this in 2 days otherwise they will file it in court and its going to cost me 15,000.00 and they will put a lean on my small business and my personal bank account.
now i am been harass by this collection

Remember do your own advertising, stay away from these people.

Had to write something because the interaction I just had was hilarious. Someone called to try to see me something, I said « I am not interested » they responded « why not? » I said « I think yellow pages isn’t so relevant for our customers, so I don’t need them » he responded aggressively « we don’t need you either » How does this person have a job? And how is this even a thing?

Zero stars if I could.

Awful Customer Service and attitude.
Scam, super ignorant and rude.

Lied on the phone to sign the contract stating could cancel with written notice and provided this when they dont provide any benefits.

When I call they are super rude and basically ur beat for 1 yr.

Did I mention the employees so called manager is rude and talk to u like garbage.

Save yourself the wasted money and Hassel. Don't do it I do not recommended.

This service is a scam an a nightmare. They never provide what they prommised and is impossible to make them solve the problem, i canceled my account with them and they said that they submit my cancelation but they never did it, instead they have been calling me again and again with a very intimidating tone telling me that there is not them problem that i didn't get the full package the reallity is that everything they promised was a lie.

They make fraudulent claims, harass businesses, and force you to do one-year oral contract even they did terrible, and you beg them to cancel the service again and again. You're thinking about advertising with them—Please don’t! You will get nothing except tears and bad dreams!!Stay far away!! See what they sent to me: "If payment is not received within 10 days of this notice, your services/advertising with Yellow Pages may be interrupted and your credit score negatively affected."

Remember that. And you guys failed.

They took $500 at the beginning of every month for a 8 month contract. First month results were 10% what was promised. The year before we ran our own campaign and had 10X the search results. YP, talked a big game and promised big results using AI and so on. We were not able to cancel the contract, due to poor results. We have started to run our own Google Campaigns again.

Very disappointed with yellow pages. I have been paying for ads for the last 10 years, not one check in from an account manager. We were reviewing recurring transactions and went to cancel. Apparently they have me locked into a 12 month contract. I have requested a copy of the contract, but they are having trouble locating it.... So shady. Do not do business with them!

I know a lot of businesses and companies across Canada, and I will be sure to spread the word about this corrupt business—100%. Repeat business keeps you in business. Remember that. And you guys failed.

I did not sign up directly for the product or service they received my information from another party and they sent me a bill for the services. When called to inquire about the bill they said I had to commit to a full year of service because they had already printed the books so I paid for 15 months in total and now they are asking for another month on top. I called to ask them to reverse the charges for the last month they have billed me and they have said no again. I am paying this one but never again they have lost all of my business moving forward. They use to have a monopoly on the service, I am not sure if they realize there are other options now???
Please watch your services carefully so they are locking you in without your knowledge. There is no begging for forgiveness....

I did not request a listing with Yellow Pages and can't get their error removed or corrected from online searches. Yellow Pages put in the wrong street address online for my business. People are directed, by Google, through Yellow Pages, to spots ranging from ten miles away to 20 miles away in two directions. I've tried to have Yellow Pages remove or correct it. They removed my company from their directory but still the wrong information is visible online. Boxes of books have been lost or misdirected and this has affected my business. I have received complaints from people trying to locate WindyWood Publishing. This has been going on for more than a year. Not just on a particular date.

It took them over 1 month to finally change my phone number to the correct one. However they still couldn't manage to let me log into my account to see how much traffic I was getting. A service I was being charged for. My favourite lie of theirs was that I would only have to pay 2 months extra if I decided to chancel my contract. The only way you can get out of the contract is by having it on auto renewal which they don't tell you. I would recommend that nobody uses these guys.

The fact they got one person to give a 5 star is remarkable. I would be surprised if the owner of this company could even say anything good about them.

Fortunately unlike many others in here who have been scammed by these guys, I’ve never given them a penny. However the constant harassment by phone both at my business and personally to compliment their barrage of emails is actually the most low level pathetic business model ever.

I can’t event count how many numbers I have blocked on both phones and two weeks later there’s yellow pages on the call display with a new number.

This company should have died when the phone book died.
