STAY AWAY!!! I signed my small business up in Dec of 2024; I was promised great representation to help me get my name out there. I did not see much of an increase and decided not keep YellowPages. I was informed that I was locked into another year, even though the contract states it will automatically renew. It was never disclosed that renewal locks you into another year.
They hid a rate increase in one of my statements; they stated the first page stated there was information for me to read on the third page, but this was at the bottom of the first page, highlighted, but so is half the page, so it did not stand out. They did not put it on any other statement or separate notification. They are now threatening me if I do not pay my monthly subscription for 90 more days. Here is why this is wrong, and I recommend that you avoid this company or contact consumer protection in Canada. I am a practicing Arbitrator.

in British Columbia, suppliers generally cannot increase fees without providing notice, especially for subscription services or estimates, thanks to recent amendments to the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA).
In British Columbia, a company generally cannot "hide" a rate increase in a monthly statement. Under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act (BPCPA), suppliers are required to provide clear, prominent notice of material changes to a contract, including price increases, giving the consumer the opportunity to cancel the contract without penalty.

This company is not acting in good faith; i recommend hanging up the phone if they come calling.

I would give them zero stars if i could, an absolute scam. The old owner was paying for it and i dont want the service they are trying to make me pay for a whole year. They are scammers and frauds stay far away

They are very helpful in the beginning before you sign up with them, then once you sign up...crickets...big scam, they do nothing for you...just takes your money.

I went in to this knowing that there are issue with customer service, but what I did not expect was for their entire service to be a complete waste of time and money. Incompetence was shown at every level with them. I had them build a website and paid for specific very services. The website was completely amateur, the process to develop it was atrocious, they started charging for the monthly website related services weeks before the website was approved and live, and then launched the website without approval. I never managed to get them to correct the spelling mistakes or copywriting throughout the whole process. Then, to top it off, I spent a year trying to get access to the backend so I could make changes and do optimizations. The entire experience was atrocious. My account manager changed twice in that year, not that it made any difference, communication was horrible. Then I spent weeks trying to get in touch to cancel all service before the cancellation deadline, including in writing, and didn't manage to reach or speak with anyone (account manager was no longer working there so the email address was not in service). They auto renewed the contract. It took me another 9 months on top of that to official get the service cancelled, which btw means I'm still paying till the end of the renewed contract without receiving any service - the website was deleted "by accident" and they wouldn't recover or replace without paying for a new site. On top of all that, I still haven't received control of the domain I own from them and will probably be many more months of chasing them down for it - this holds me hostage on creating a new website with that domain, which once again I OWN. Don't waste your money with these guys, go purchase a website elsewhere so you own the website and choose the team you want to host, optimize, and maintain. Yellow pages is the biggest scam in the marketing world.

Today I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dental office ( palmetto oral Florence SC). I was already on edge because my 13-year-old was having her wisdom tooth pulled. She was nervous, and so was I.

When I walked in the front door, I was greeted politely and told to wait until they called her to the back. Eventually, she was called back, and I waited up front.

The nurse came in and explained the aftercare instructions and how to handle things afterward. She initially seemed nice. My daughter continued to cry, although Miss Gail stated that she was not crying. Miss Gail then put her hand in my daughter’s mouth and said, “You’re not going to bite me.” I thought she was joking and simply doing her job with humor, so at first, I didn’t think much of it.

However, my impression changed when Miss Gail yelled to another nurse to come help get my daughter out of there because she was “making all this noise.” I told Miss Gail that I didn’t think my daughter could help it. Miss Gail responded by saying that she could help it and that she shouldn’t be acting that way. I told her that my daughter was uncomfortable and that people should not be treated that way.

By this time, the situation became louder, and if I am not mistaken, one of the doctors came down the hallway and said, “She’s been out for 15 minutes, and teen girls look at TikTok.” I asked him if he thought my daughter was faking, and he shrugged his shoulders.

I do not believe my daughter was faking at all. The assumption that she was exaggerating or pretending was unfair, especially since they did not know her mental health history or personal background. I honestly believe the bedside manner was unnecessary and inappropriate.

I was so upset by how my daughter was treated that I called the police because I felt she was insulted and mistreated. I have never experienced anything like this before. Two nurses eventually helped my daughter to the car and assisted her inside, but I felt they viewed me as being dramatic rather than acknowledging how poorly my daughter had been treated.

I had been recording my daughter so we could laugh about the experience later, but by accident, I actually captured video footage of her being mistreated.

Coming off anesthesia does not happen in just a few minutes. I am not a doctor, but I know that much. Being treated as if my daughter was being dramatic or faking was completely unacceptable. While I was sitting there, I could hear another patient nearby talking. Although he was calmer and my daughter was more whiny, that does not excuse how she was treated.

It felt as though they believed my daughter was too loud and were rushing to get her out of there because she made other patients uncomfortable. Miss Gail appeared to have been doing this job for a long time, and I am certain my daughter was not the first child to cry loudly after anesthesia

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS FRAUDULENT SCAMMING COMPANY. they will agree to not use your personal address as business destination but still use if, causing problems with landlord for making the property a commercial destination. They will refuse contract cancellation even tho they do not respect their engagement. They produce absolutely no results while charging an expensive 200$ a month. BEWARE And DO NOT put ANY TRUST nor MONEY into this PROBLEMATIC, VERY EXPENSIVE HEADACHE.

It is strongly advised that Yellow Pages advertising contracts should not be signed. Yellow Pages’ sales promises are misleading, and their contracts are designed to lock you in without delivering results. Save yourself the trouble, avoid signing, and look for real marketing alternatives.

⭐️ Very Disappointing Experience – Do Not Recommend

We signed a yearly contract with Yellow Pages based on specific promises that were made to us during the sales process. Unfortunately, those promises were not delivered. The services we were told we would receive simply did not match what was actually provided.

When we contacted customer service to address these issues, the experience became even worse. Instead of support or accountability, we were met with dismissive attitudes and unprofessional behavior. Communication with both customer service representatives and managers felt intimidating and bordering on bullying, rather than helpful or solution-focused.

There was no willingness to take responsibility, no effort to fix the problems, and no respect for us as paying clients locked into a long-term contract. We felt pressured, ignored, and completely unsupported.

This has been a frustrating and stressful experience, and we regret entering into a contract with Yellow Pages. Based on our experience, we strongly advise other businesses to carefully review everything in writing and think twice before committing.

Be very careful dealing with Yellow Pages. The contract language is misleading, and the sales pitch does not match the reality of what you receive. Once signed, cancellations are nearly impossible, support is poor, and results are nonexistent. This was an expensive lesson for our business.

BEWARE! BEWARE! Choose the right Doctor for your specific surgery. We all take breathing through our nose for granted until someone takes part of that option away. My doctor Eduardo Weiss of Hollywood Dermatology did just that. On February 12, 2025 at Hollywood Dermatology DR. Weiss performed what he said was a simple MOHS surgery on my nose tip to remove Basil Cell Carcinoma. Not only did the syringe administered by an assistant to numb my nose cause pain because it pierced the wall of my nose which bled for six weeks but now it was doctor Weiss's turn to proceed. During surgery it felt like Dr. Eduardo Weiss had grabbed my nose like it was a broken handle on a 400 pound steel door squeezing & twisting along with improper local anesthesia. Now another assistant probably in training had to administer more anesthesia and did so by poking the bridge area of my nose with a syringe that left a sore red spot for several months. After the assistant did this he stood over me watching DR. Weiss with the dripping syringe which was very non professional & weird. Because Dr. Weiss was in a hurry possibly to return to other patients or perhaps just NOT qualified to perform such a sensitive procedure including closing the wound properly he cut and removed to much cartilage causing NO adequate nasal structure support leading to the collapse of my left nasal valve/lateral wall as well as other internal damage. Doctor Eduardo Weiss left me with visual nose damage, internal nose damage and severe mental stress as my air intake through my nostrils at times is less than 50% of what it used to be before surgery. NOT being able to sleep at night due to lack of being able to breath adequately I developed severe sleep deprivation which has now caused me (partial hearing loss) (slight blurred vision at times) (anxiety during the day and severe at night) (fatigue) (shortness of breath due to blocked airways) (Sinus issues) (Severe alternate nasal breathing). THIS REVIEW IS 100% TRUE! I have not talked to Doctor Eduardo Weiss since the surgery NOR do I want anything to do with him or Hollywood Dermatology! What would he say to me after doing all this DAMAGE to me? Perhaps I'm sorry! Currently I am being treated by other Doctors for breathing issues as well as a severe sleep disorder while searching or a permanent fix. The action taken by Doctor Eduardo Weiss along with some of his medical assistants have demonstrated a willful disregard for my well being and a serious breach of professional duty. On August 8th about 3:00 A.M. I called 911 and was taken to the Hospital by Ambulance due to complications that followed DR. Eduardo Weiss's incompetent failed surgery. NOW! As of December 2, 2025 I am being treated for Cancer in the same location on my nose that DR. Eduardo Weiss claimed he got it all! All my breathing issues caused by Dr. Eduardo Weiss still exist & my medical records show something very different then what actually happened!

Please do not sign up for any Yellow Pages accounts. You’ll be in contract that you cannot get out of and no one is prepared to help. There are much better platforms out there to help market your business. Do a lot of research and read all of the reviews before agreeing to anything with this Company

This company is a scam AND WILL RUIN YOUR SMALL BUSINESS.
They are a dying business looking strong-arm small businesses into contracts with the promise of elevating your brand awareness and traffic to your business, just so they can stay afloat.

They took their sweet time setting it up, and were over 2 weeks late to deliver. Not only that, before I had even seen any of their service, they were already trying to squeeze more money out of me saying they could build me a website, upgrade my plan, ect, ect.

I have not seen or heard from them in months, can't access the dashboard, and when I do, they have wrong information online and I am locked out of changing it.

Regardless of wether or not this is a write-off, you're much better off posting on social media and chasing testimonials/reviews.

Don't make the mistake I did. Save your coin, save your business.

I regret doing business with this company they essentially scammed me. They misrepresented the service by charging higher than the discussed price and claimed the contract could be cancelled whole sending me different terms than I had agreed to.

Basic service - premium price .

This was the worst experience I could have with any of the marketing companies. During the one year contract they provided very minimal service, which has absolutely no impact on my business.
What is worse at the end of the term they never contact me, but kept charging my credit card on monthly basis. After reaching out to them and canceling the service they continued to charge my credit card. I had to reach out to visa to stop the payments.

I’m writing this to warn other small business owners about my experience with Yellow Pages for Business.

I was approached by their sales rep, Tom Vigonich, who assured me repeatedly that my subscription could be canceled at any time if I wasn’t seeing results. We even discussed what would happen to my backlinks and listings after cancellation, which made it clear that early cancellation was an option.

Now, after several months of zero measurable impact on my Google rankings or business visibility, I called to cancel — only to be told I’m locked into a 12-month contract. This term was buried in their contract fine print and never disclosed verbally, despite direct and specific questions about flexibility before I signed.

This kind of misleading and manipulative sales tactic is unacceptable — especially toward small businesses already under financial strain. Their renewal policy is equally deceptive, making it unnecessarily difficult to avoid automatic renewals unless written notice is given months in advance.

To make matters worse, they’ve failed to deliver any of the promised visibility improvements, and their “guaranteed placement” claims are vague at best.

I strongly urge other business owners to record all calls, get written confirmation of cancellation terms, and think twice before signing anything with Yellow Pages. They use outdated SEO tactics, vague metrics, and fine print loopholes to lock businesses into recurring payments for minimal or no return.

In my opinion: Yellow Pages no longer provides credible digital marketing value — only aggressive sales tactics and contractual traps.

The Account Managers are liars and the service Yellow Pages is a BIG SCAM! SAVE your money do not use them for anything. We were told we would get a credit back and now because we didn't renew the service they wont refund for a service in the contract we signed up for.

Save your money, you'll be locked into monthly payments for min. 1 year, and no early cancellations. I listed my service for a year and got literally zero results. $100/mo for zero results is not worth it, you're better off putting this money towards any other form of marketing.
