Really awful customer experience, rang so many times left voicemails no replies.
Agreed to buy a Bessacarr Cameo part exchanged our old van in, was told handover will be done in 3 Weeks got Finance approved by there Broker Mann Island
Arrived in agreed day to be told we need more information, so showed bank Statements etc
Messed me around for 3 Hours new van wasn’t even up to standard window catches broken PDI didn’t work for lighting and controls, guy showing me around the fixtures and fittings didn’t even know where the drain off valves were or why it had 3 Water connections outside
After being messed around for over 3 Hours asked for my £2000 deposit back which after much stalling was eventually begrudging put back on my card but apparently can take up to 14 days, then it took another 30 Minutes to bring my old caravan out of storage to me
All in all a total waste of a day off work but at least I’ve cleaned our old Caravan up
Would never deal with you guys again, I’m sure there are some Customer training courses out there you can go on or your hand over Guy can watch You tube videos on how things work
Whilst i have had problems with my caravan from new, i have to say the warranty dpt, and in particular, Rachel and her team have been outstanding, customer service there is second to none, i recently had a problem 2 days before departing on a long holiday in the caravan, one phone call to Rachel and 1 hour later i was there at the premises getting the problem fixed, at such short notice, that is outstanding service!!

We purchased our first caravan here last week and will definitely return and recommend to everybody! Our sales person was Pete and was absolutely incredible he broke everything down to us and we wasnt pressured into anything , went above and beyond for us cannot thank him enough. Everything he promised to have sorted for pick up was done when talking to him he’s actually applied for the manager roll, I think anyone to pass him up and not make him manager would be silly he’s the best man for the job and we would love to see him become manager!
SARAH what an absolute gem she is doesn’t get enough credit for all the hours she puts in all the problems that occur that she deals with and is still so helpful lovely and polite , we went on our first weekend away this weekend and I promise you now if it wasn’t for Sarah I do not know what we would have done, there was things we had forgotten how to do from our handover and being first time caravaners made this even more daunting, Sarah helped numerous times and even FaceTimed me so she could show us step by step and for any further assistance, it turned out the site we was on had a power cut but nobody let us know , we thought it was something we had done as it was our first time and was clueless I text her at nearly 10oclock at night and she rang me straight away to help us switch Our heating from electric to gas so our children could be warm I cannot thank Sarah enough or stress this enough she has literally been Our life saver this weekend an definitely deserves a pay rise 😂
Toni from inside the shop was also very helpful and I’m very greatful for her to, it was pouring down with rain , Toni came outside tried to help me with the mirrors when we then realised they was the wrong ones for our car, off we went into the shop so I could buy more and she came out and helped me fit them as I didn’t have a clue 🙈she also showed us around the awnings and I will definitely be back to purchase our awning with her 😁 I can definitely say the buisness wouldn’t run as well without them 3 amazing people 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Purchased our new Motorhome on the 17th March. Paid for many extras on this day, including a Lifetime Subscription for the Scorpion Tracker, which had been fitted the previous day. To date 14 April 2026, this subscription has NOT BEEN PAID TO SCORPION. We have sent many emails, as has Scorpion, to Yorkshire Caravans Accounts to get this payment made. The invoice which they required, was sent on the 19th March by Scorpion to YC's Accounts Dept. I have also sent the invoice & copied in everyone concerned.
Only today, 14th April, have they used the excuse it has not been paid because it was a Pro Forma Invoice!
Why didn't someone from Accounts contact Scorpion to advise them way back on the 19th March to rectify the error. We are disgusted at how we have been treated. Given the runaround by Charles Proctor, their Brand Manager Motorhome Sales & Aftercare via many email replies. Stating one thing then another.
We expect compensation as this ruined our Easter holiday having to constantly chase up this payment to Scorpion. Scorpion have been excellent at corresponding with me, my husband & YC Accounts. If they'd have been advised, way back on the 19th March, the required invoice would have been issued to them immediately.
Just noted that Yorkshire Caravans of Bawtry have been bought by Jason Cooper. I sincerely trust that communication within Yorkshire Caravans improves and sorts out their staff!

Absolutely shocking customer service and aftercare. Finally free of YC after buying a caravan from them 7 months ago, which we only had for 5 days before returning it to be repaired due to damp issues caused by their incompetence of leaving the door open for rain to get in between us purchasing the van and picking it up. Haven’t seen the caravan in 5 months waiting for ‘repairs’, which were only half done. Constantly having to chase for an answer when the repairs will be done. Refused refunds by an extremely rude manager (Charles Proctor), passed from pillar to post with every phone call and email. Finally got a refund after months of waiting as it is unacceptable to wait 5 months for a repair to be done for a problem that wasn’t even our fault. The day we got our refund the caravan was advertised on their website for an extra £3000 compared to what we paid for it and the repairs are only half done. If you buy from this abysmal company make sure you inspect the caravan properly - even on the handover we said it wasn’t right and they still told us to take it away. They are only bothered about money and they just want to sell sell sell and not focus on the customer or rectify any issues.

Bought a caravan almost 5 weeks ago now. Put down 5k deposit and part exchanged my old caravan £750. Was excited to get my new caravan which was a 3/4wk wait for it to be ready. In the meantime, i held up my end of the bargain, by taking my old caravan i on the weekend they asked for the start of our part exchange. 3 wks later. 1 day b4 our pick up date, my wife got a phone call, saying our caravan wasnt fit for purpose, thier words its rotten. Then sed just come in over next week or so come pick anouther caravan. Has it was easter weekend and we had already paid ground fees to site our new van seasonly, we opted to buy a caravan from another dealer. So to cut the story short this company STILL have my money. £5750 and wont answer our phone calls or return our emails. Appartently it says the respond to negative comments on trust pilot. So i may get a response after this message. If i cud have rated them 0 stars i wud have. But 1 star is worst i can give them. DONT USE THIS COMPANY, THERE CROOKS. Gavin very angry victim of at the moment can only b described as THEFT

Went to yorkshire caravan today to look at some new awnings as ours is only small . Dave in the shop floor advised use which one is the best and explained everything about the different styles if awning and benefits ended up buying a great set up dave was really helpful making surw the awning was right for us highly recommend visiting the new awning centre at yorkshire caravans if in doubt ask for dave

I purchased a new 2025 Adria Rio Grande in January. I did not haggle on price, added a number of additional options and provided a more-than-ample timeline for completion. The service has been horrendous from start to finish.
Visit 1 to the "finished van" (date per YCM request) has wires everywhere, no bike rack, no battery, non-functional anything.
Visit 2 was a total farce as they set a date for the van to be collected then prevented collection due to non-payment of a final invoice ..... which they never delivered, I could not have paid and was only required due to clerical error on their part in the first place.
Visit 3 - finally left with a van .... missing parts, dirty, damaged and without the surface protection that has been paid for having been applied.
zero response 10-days post communication of the latest set of issues, I am over 50 thousand pounds down and have nothing but regret for my choice of vendor - strongly recommend going anywhere else.
